Bass Booster Pro no longer working - Verizon Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

For some reason BBP is no longer making any difference in audio. I've tried reinstalling and using different version to no avail. Is there something I could have done that would have caused this? I'm running rooted Kitkat. Thank you for any help.

Some times no Sound in calls:

Hi Guys,
I really need your help.
Issue is in one of the five calls I get no sound in in-ear speaker or loudspaeaker earlier I thought It was an network issue but apparently it's not.
If I open keypad while calling and press some numbers then I get the sound.
I am on the latest radio .48 that came pre-installed.
So till now what I have tried, changing kernels going back to stock kernels: none worked.
Also, Flashed PA still faced the same issue.
I also has nexus louder flashed, so I flashed the revert zip, still facing the issue.
Now I am downloading the latest radio zip again but I don't think that it will work.
Please suggest me guys what could be the cause of this issue and solution.

Try enabling lock screen sounds... this was a known issue with 4.2.2 roms.

[Q] How to fix Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-I337M No sound Issue!

I messed around with my phone a lot, switching roms and tried updating modems. I ended up in a lot of different soft bricks and I have been going through a lot of frustration. I fixed everything and have my phone working except my audio doesn't work whatsoever. I've tried many different roms, I've tried switching Bootloaders, Kernels, and modems and nothing works. I know my speaker isn't just broken because my phone won't even let me attempt to play any type of audio. Youtube's video's won't play, my music app says all of my music files are unsupported and games don't make any noise. What else is there to try?
Install Stock ROM using Odin.

[Q] Equalizers that work on GS4 / Viper4Android

Hey guys!
I'm new here, and first off I'd like to state a few things, just so we're clear:
MusicFX / Default Equalizer doesn't work for me.
My S4 is rooted.
I don't want to reflash / can't upgrade / lose root
I've gone through all the necessary steps and backed up my phone with NANDroid backup and Titanium Backup, I don't want to have to re flash or update and lose my root, but all I really need is a working equalizer for my music.... since my headphones aren't giving 100%, I need a bass / volume boost... Now to the point, I downloaded Viper4Android sound mod and I'm just wondering if this'll brick my phone or not? Running 4.3 MK2 SW...
I'm doing a full backup just in case but can anyone please confirm that this works or not before I irreversibly damage or brick my phone? I just don't want to go through the agonizing hassle of reflashing my GS4 since it's so complicated, and at this point Kies won't work for me here so I'm bent out of luck if my phone gets bricked...
If not, can anyone list any good working equalizer / bass booster apps for the S4?
I'd be more than happy and I'd appreciate your help, guys.
Thanks! -Dan
Viper4androidFx is amazing...... It is the only audio mod you need, ever..... As long as you have made a nandroid backup there shouldn't be an issue...

yes Viper is amazing and it wont brick your phone! but it consumes more RAM. One more thing, did u tried the ADAPT sound feature of default music player? It gives real clear audio quality! Just try it before Viper u might like it.

Gs4 i337m no Mic or sound

Hi all, this is my first question here and I'm kinda getting desperate. I have a gs4 i337m locked to bell in Canada. I had it rooted with the stock Rom and uprooted to use kies to update. After the update my wi-fi didn't work anymore, also lost the use of Mic, and the speakers no longer work. I tried flashing the most current Rom that I could find and that didn't work. So I tried flashing cm11. After installing cyanogenmod 11 my wi-fi works but the speakers and Mic still don't work. If anyone can point me in the direction of a fix it would make my millennium. Thanks in advance.
Sincerely
C-Dawg

J7 2017 - j7y17lte issue

My phone is j7y17lte. After I used some @ ananjaser1211's rom port, and installed magisk to root and installed PureperformanceStock to optimize performance, my phone suddenly turned into on7xelte. I tried returning to the stock rom but it still didn't return to j7y17lte. In addition, when I tried to install to lineageos, my phone speaker sounded a shrill sound and no longer heard any sound. Can someone help me fix it?
