Hi everyone,
I have an weird problem with my LG G2. After changing the old screen (wich was broken) with a new one (frame+screen), the G2 becomes laggy. Everything works fine excepts the response of the touch screen. It take 2 secondes between the screen pressure and the display.
What did I do wrong guys ?

Actually this is just a shot in the dark but did you update your touch firmware?
The touch firmware ? How can I update the touch firmware ?
Open dialer menu and type;
5689#*980# (Sprint)
3845#*801# (T-Mobile)
3845#*803# (AT&T Canada)
3845#*802# (International)
3845#*800# (At&T)
3845#*980# (Verizon)
And when hidden menu is showed up, go to "Settings"
and go to "Update Touch Firmware".
The touchscreen won't work until after 5 seconds, Wait for it and if touchscreen gets working, exit the menu.

Hello,
Yesterday I used Hyelton's guide to go back to stock on my LG G2 LS980 and immediately after returning to stock I am unable to use the touch screen at all.
The phone boots fine and I reach the "on screen activation" page but I cannot 'click' any buttons or do anything. The screen has no touch recognition at all. I have no idea what to do.
Anyone have any suggestions? I've read about people typing a code into the dialer to update the touch screen firmware, but I am unable to do that as the screen will not recognize me touching it at all.
Extra info: The screen was fine yesterday before I returned to stock.
i dont know if you all have this problem with your g2 all variant.
Issue: when my 2 finger touch each other while on tap, the touch indicator was like having conflict. It was just like back and forth in those 2 finger and also when you tap 5- 10 it was like bouncing and dont know where it will touch.
here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGn0Y0rREBo
please help is this normal or i'm having Software or hardware issue? thanks in advance....
So my LG G2 D802 is using a stock Lollipop (5.0.2) ROM from Singapore that I flashed recently, lately my phone sometimes get ghost touches and sometimes the screen stops functioning. So my question is, can it be a software problem rather than hardware? When the screen is unusable, I can swipe to unlock like normal but when unlocked whatever I press doesn't do anything. The vibrate on touch is there but no action.
I am having the same issue. Have you got the solution yet?
Hello everyone
My Lg g2 (D802) had a knock on/ knock off issues. i searched a solution and find that video on youtube (How to repair LG G2 front proximity sensor after replaced LCD Screen
after i put white paper on prox. sensor and turned on my phone i have met touch screen problems (then took out the paper)
the problem is that when touch the screen, screen doesn't response for a while ( 2-3 sec.) .If i wait 3 seconds click runs. I flashed official 5.0.2 rom but nothing chanced. My phone has no root access I everytime use official roms .
What could be problem software or hardware? I'd be glad if anyone help. Thanks in advance
