Boost mobile signal via software??? - Galaxy S6 Edge+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is it possible to boost signal on Edge+ via software?

If you are rooted you can modificate build.prop for better signal.

Can I do that via Samsung Secret menu? What exactly do I need to change in build.prop?

[Q] how to force network to WCDMA only

Hello guys !
I would like to know if there is a way forcing G900V to choose "only" modes for network like on G900F , WCDMA only , GSM only etc..
I used to do this for example with a code in LG G2 Sprint so I can enable more hidden modes ..
any suggestion ?

Yes I have found a fix around for this.
But it needs root access to work.
Are you rooted?

G900F Service Menu after Marshmallow for Band Selection

After updating to the new Marshmallow release for the S5 I am no longer able to access the Service Menu via *#0011* then entering Q and 0000's. I use it to do a band selection for LTE only. Has Samsung killed access to the Service Menu? Anyone know now to access it? Thanks!
I am joining to the question. Anyone can help?

Do a quick google search for galaxy tools gt3.18. It has an option to get to the hiddenservicemenu in there (and yes, i typed that without spaces on purpose as thats how its shown in the app). Id provide a link, but the dev asked to not host it. Its still out there and can be found easily. Thatll get you both fixed up

Activate network speed in statusbar by editing CSC

Hello, I'm interested in activating a network speed meter in the status bar of a official Pie ROM, using root.
I have tried adding this line, but it doesn't work.
Code:
<CscFeature_Setting_SupportRealTimeNetworkSpeed>TRUE</CscFeature_Setting_SupportRealTimeNetworkSpeed>
Thank you in advance!
Oh, it actually works. I didn't know that after editing the csc file, The option has to be enabled in Settings->Display->Status bar->Show network speed. Ha-ha.

This app lets you lock 5G/LTE/4G/3G/2G bands on most Samsung phones running the latest One UI software (no root required!):
