N910F how to update mini-updates when the phone is rooted? - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I wanted to know where can I get the mini-updates to download and update the phone, because when the phone is rooted you can't get it with OTA.
Cheers.

No body?

The "mini update" as you call it is a patch file, which means it needs a non modified system in order to be applied properly.
The easiest way to update is to use Samsung Smart Switch then root again.

[Q] D801 root lost after recent OTA from TMobile

All,
I need help re-rooting my phone. I had a stock recovery, rooter phone (to remove/ disable bloat). I received an update from TMobile (the version is still 4.4.2, but build is now KOT49I.D80120g. I could not stop it from applying the update and my phone lost root. I'm now unable to find a way to root it again. Towelroot does not work (your device is not supported) and ioroot says it does not work on 4.4.2.
Please help with what could I try.
Thanks a lot in advance.
wondering if you ever found the solution,. i am on that build as well.
even worse is i can't get into download mode to go back to an older version and install a custom recovery.

Stopping Lollipop Update

So my phone is in the middle of downloading the Lollipop update. I really don't want to take it. Will it automatically update or will it prompt me to accept the upgrade? I'm currently on 4.4.4 and not rooted. I know I could root and use TB to freeze the update program but I'm not ready to do that just yet. Is there another way that doesn't involve rooting?

In the past, it has prompted you and then it goes ahead with it anyway at a certain point. There's no way to block without root afaik unless you want to wipe your phone.
I ended up wiping. Won't make that mistake again. FYI. OTA works with H2O SIM.

[Q] T-Mobile Galaxy S5 Root Lost After Phone auto-updated

Hey Guys, I'm brand new to these forums, and to this whole community so bare with me.
Basically I bought my T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S5 phone around the time it came out, and I also had installed root on it via towelroot when Towel Root was first released. I did not update the phone at all for a long period of time and everything was working fine, until one day I was browsing under settings and accidentally tapped the "Software Update" button, then T-mobile auto-pushed an update onto my phone.
This update has caused the root on my phone to not work at all (Deemed useless) So I clicked SU and only a black screen popped up when I tried to open the app, so I uninstalled it, reinstalled it then got a message saying "There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU Cannot install it. If you just upgraded to Android 4.3 you need to manually re-root your device" So I tried to re-root via towelroot method again. It seems the T-mobile update made my phone "Unsupported/Uncompatible" with TowelRoot's obsolete techniques, so now I'm in dire need of help.
My phone tried to push another t-mobile update (This time to upgrade to Lollipop) but it failed after attempting to install it after a reboot. So not only will my phone not update to Lollipop, but I'm not even rooted anymore and am unsure on how to get back rooted, or what to do next since I used rooting as a primary source to store apps on my SD Card. Kind of like i'm stuck in one spot? (Can't update your phone/can't root it the old method)
I'm brand new guys, Please can you break down to me what I should do, in order to obtain root again, and possibly be able to upgrade to Lollipop As well as prevent further pushed T-mobile updates? Here's some info if you need it
S5 Model Number: SM-G900T
Android Version:4.4.2
Kernel Version:3.4.0-262.. etc. (Tell me if you need the full kernel details)
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank YOU!
Flash this with ODIN
http://download.chainfire.eu/407/CF-Root1/CF-Auto-Root-kltetmo-kltetmo-smg900t.zip
(Will trip KNOX and void warranty)
Or flash a pre-June 2014 KK Kernel, root with Towelroot again, then flash back your current Kernel
Is this the only solution? And also is it the right one? o.o
Can anyone else please give me some feedback on the situation? I want to make sure I do this right, please just a little helps.

if you have an aftermarket recovery, you wont get OTA updates. Why do you want the OTA anyways?
Hi youdoofus ,
Thanks for your reply.
I just tink that OTA updates are the most recent that my service provider has.
So, I d'like to update to that version...
But if you can explain to me why I it should not be done, I apreciate it.
Thanks

How to OTA update from 6.0.1 with "modified software" (rooted) to Nougat?

So I've been using 6.0.1 since I got this phone last year. I rooted it pretty much immediately, but then Samsung pushed out one of their security patches, which basically "bricked" the software. Whenever I try to update the phone, I get a fine:
The operating system on your device has been modified in an unauthorized way. Try downloading software updates using Smart Switch on your computer or visit a customer service center

Basically I rooted my phone, so OTA updates aren't available.
Apparently the new Nougat update is now live in Denmark, so I really want to update my phone, but I don't want to lose my apps, documents, images, and so on. I basically want to do an update, just like I never rooted my phone. I don't care about keeping my root.
How do I go on about this? I just want to "remove my root" and do an OTA update to get Nougat the most legit way possible.
Thanks!
EDIT: I should probably also say, that when I open SuperSU, I get a:
There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem

Since that security update from Samsung last summer, my root magically disappeared, but it's still there apparently.
