Are they actually worth it? How does the kevlar one feel, does it feel just like plastic? What about the wood ones, I was thinking about getting the black apricot one but was thinking how it feels, are they textured and do they feel nice? Thanks
Edit: Just saw a little disclaimer saying that it increases the width a bit and so cases may not fit, is this actually true or they just saying it to make sure?
I had the bamboo cover, it was very slippery. Especially switching from the sandstone one. And yes with the bamboo cover I could not fit it into a third party flip cover. So I ended up selling it already.
I have all of them and i love the kevlar one its almost like a soft touch rubber feel but hard i really recommend it, and yes they do increase the depth of the phone but some cases fit most dont though but then again why buy a case to cover the beauty of the back plate?!
Kevlar best? How is the black apricot one, could it be recommended over the sandstone one. Also think theres a case that just covers the edge of the phone, leaving the back to touch

No, not for me.
I like that Kevlar feels slightly soft. OP2 looks more premium with Kevlar.

Skinomi is a little bit thicker, so has more chance of orange peel and had a little bit of drag on my finger swipes. (Nit picking, it is slight)
I found skinomi to be better than zagg, although I've had a few skinomis that had a speckled glitter effect due to an uneven adhesive.
In my opinion, BSE is the best of all these wet skins.

Zagg is just like a piece of colorless orange peel,

I think they have a good warranty... And they are much better at marketing.
I picked up the Skinomi one. Wish it could get her when my nexus does.
I got one from Skinomi as well. Price got me but they all seem to be the same for me. Maybe I'll see, I'm used to third grade protectors from china lol.
I've had a Skinomi protector on my Sensation 4G for awhile. No peeling, I usually forget its there... don't throw your phone in your pocket with your keys. Turns out the Nexus 4 Skinomi product was already on my wishlist! lol
I have a Skinomi on my T-Mo Galaxy S2 and it is really nice. I have heard good things about Best Skins Ever so I might give them a try when I get my Nexus 4.

The material is made of TPU. Last time I used a TPU case it felt like silicone but with more rigidity. Is the official Asus Travel Cover the same? What does the material feel like? Is it soft like rubber or cold and rigid like hard plastic? Does it feel like it's as cushiony as silicone?

It's not cold, and not as soft as silicone (I have on my phone, i.e.). I really like it, it is nice to the touch and doesn't slip when you hold it (but silicone holds better).

But it has no magnets to be fixed when it is closed, right?
And if you open it, can you open it so wide that it can touch the back? Thanks

It has a pretty rubbery feel and yes, it can be folded all the way to the back . I got the baby blue color but am now having post purchase regret.. Should have gone for the bright orange which will look so nice contrasting with the black tablet! Haha
Thanks for the responses guys.
How flexible is it compared to silicone? Does it have a shiny finish or did they rough it up so it has a matte finish inside and out? I'm trying to determine what it would feel like in the hand as TPU alone doesn't really tell me what the finish is. I've seen TPU cases that look glossy and some that look matte. Does it kind of feel matte and smooth like a mouse ball? I know it's probably not going to feel as smooth as silicone but it't not going to grip as much either which I kind of like it having less grip. I might have to get this case.
What about the thickness? How thick is it? 2mm? Like if you look through the speaker cutout you can see how thick it is right?
But it has no magnets to be fixed when it is closed, right?

Nope. This much I do know, it has no magnets which from what I'm reading is kind of a bummer to everyone because:
A) It can keep the cover closed when you put it in a bag or something.
B) It can utilize the magnetometer to do cool things like put it to sleep and turn it on depending on the cover like a smart cover.
Should have gone for the bright orange which will look so nice contrasting with the black tablet!

I'm torn between the whitish color and the dark gray. Probably end up going with the whitish but the gray just looks more professional. I pretty much only want the official case because it has the Nexus 7 branding and dimples all over it.
EDIT: Oh and I heard people complain about the power and volume buttons. They said they couldn't feel them. I feel them less with a silicone case on, but I still feel them. Is it true that you can't feel how much pressure you're putting on them? I don't want to be overpressing the buttons. Since it's a more rigid material I would say there seems like some truth to this?
It has a matte finish. Dull. At least the gray one does. It's the thinnest case for the N7 I believe. A little thicker than a tpu phone case. Very soft feel to it a little grippier than the stock back but not sticky at all.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
Lol why would you like the dimples on this case? I like the Nexus branding on the back of this case but certainly not the tiny holes spreaded throughout the case.
And yes I couldn't really feel the physical buttons when pressing. I mean I could feel them but pressing them a little bit seems to activate the buttons already.
I think the dark gray case looks nice too but a vibrant color like bright orange won't hurt too. Haha
Has anyone tried both of these cases? I would like a first hand opinion from someone who tried both.

First off, have you read through the multiple threads in regards to each case? I believe there's even a vid review comparing the two.
Bottom line I have both, it's really up to you which you prefer. Btw the two, I go Diztronic. But to throw a monkey wrench into things, I am using the Diztronic Ultra Hard Thin case with a Seidio holster made for a Gnex. So each his/her/it own.

I searched and found reviews of the cases but I didn't find any that compare the two. Amazon also has reviews but once again, not comparing the two.
I'm using the Diztronic hardcase I ordered the matte black finish and love it. It adds grip and feels very good and doesn't slide around too much on surfaces. However the case was messed up on one side so I ordered a replacement and got the white instead but the only bad side is its very slippery and prone to scratches that are visible when you shine light on it

I gota admit, the phone is slippery as hell. The Diztronic case doesn't make it worse, but also doesn't make it any better. I've dropped the phone onto the floor twice in about 3 weeks and semi-dropped it (caught it in my lap or whatever) several times. This baby definitely needs the protection.
I think the title says it all, if you don't know what the peel is it's just a really thin case.
Aren't those Dbrand skins thin?
I'm interested in something thin too. Don't like cases in general (because they are bulky), but this phone is so damn slippery.

Agreed on the phone being too slippery. It feels super nice in the hand though so a super slim case would be nice!

Either way, I think dBrand is what you're looking for. I checked out their website and you can customize the way you want the skin to look (to a certain extent).
I did not put phone in case because it si slippery, but to protect camera. I got Nillkin super frosted shield, it is not too bulky, and protect phone well, I hope.
Which is the best back cover for our one plus 5 ? Anybody from India , Please suggest.
Spigen Rugged Armor
Been covering my phone with it for almost 3 months. Good grip, no scratches, no drops etc... Fits well with fabric front foil or anti fingerprint screen protector.

I wouldn't get the ringke the bumper just gets super messed up on those. I'd say the best thing I like about orzly is that it just feels so much secure. You can check my review on Amazon.in I have some pics uploaded there too.
I can only say don't get the Kevlar one from the official site. You can't use the alert slider in that. And it just looks bulky. Got one and using it.

I think because of the rubber sides it would feel more grippy compared to Ringke's sort of slippery material (I bought one for op3 last year). I had read all the reviews on Amazon and surely leaned towards Orzly only. What color do you have though?

I got the black one. The grip is hands down the best I've used. I've had many phones over the years and this is the most slippery one. But this case just makes me feel so much comfortable holding the phone.

I can vouch for this, since I use the same case.
I use the spiegen case
Spigen Neo Hybrid for ruggedness and Nillkin basic is a decent average in all areas.
The OnePlus 5 Bumper Case Karbon direct from oneplus is the best!
Expensive but best protection. I tested it last night Fall from 1,5 m on the really rainy road without any damage (phone or case)
