Try flashing again.. I had same issue and it was solved by reflashing.
If u still face issues, download the fresh STOCK ROM from sammobile website and try flashing it. It will work 100%
cheers :good:

Flashing STOCK ROM using ODIN tool will do everything (like unrooting, flashing stock recovery, kernel and ROM) :fingers-crossed:
No need to unroot seperately :fingers-crossed:
Make sure to wipe data and cache once after flashing STOCK ROM.

[Q] Can't flash custom ROM via CWM!!!

After a number ( about 5 times) of flashing custom roms, my galaxy Y can't flash any other rom via CWM right now, it can only flash roms via Odin, which is rather incovinient... And with Odin, it can't flash a custom kernel too ( there are 2 out there already ) It show PASS! but stuck at the Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 logo . What should I do???
i think, pull out your battery and put it on again and go to recover mode (vol up+Home+power) then factory reset/data wipe. then reboot. hope this works.
if u r installing kernel on a rom then thats bound to happen.. you will get best results on a stock rom...
Try this cwm http://www.4shared.com/zip/QR4SoeIV/cwm-madteam-galaxy.html
Sent from my GT-S5360 using XDA
what error the message said?
Tried all...
Sorry to let's your hopes down (kurotsugi, simplyanin, helllock, jeffcleds ) I tried it all. But ... it still doesn't work somehow. There is no error message. It is just boot stuck ( stuck at the logo ) please help. This happens after I flash Hybrid rom V2 + wipe data + cache + battery stats. What now

Try both with stock and CWM ( madteam + skin1980 ) not working. Restore to stock rom is possible but flashing via recovery is no go. Maybe a softbrick. I still need help through. Help please. Will appriciate everyone.

I'm using Galaxy Y odin ( 1.84 ) and I tried 1.84. Still it doesn't work. And yes I know how to flash a firmware via odin. I'm not a pro but not a noob too .
Yes, try a different version of Odin. Try different usb ports . On my pc odin only works on one usb port. It will recognize it on the others but will cause a bad flash.

New OTA update - BuIld LMY47X.G928CXXU2A0J5 blocks recovery and root on G928C

Guys I have a G928C model which just received an OTA update of some 150MB. I can confirm that it is a fresh update which came today.
After updating I tried flashing custom recovery following the method mentioned on [HOW TO] Rooting Flashing Custom Recovery & Kernal thread. Odin fails to flash recovery, stock recovery remains. Other two images are of me trying to flash the older stock rom which gives another strange error.
Please help me out.
Did you enable the option oem unlock in developers options?
OEM unlock and usb debugging were on
MD5 of the files were ok? I assume you have the kernel/recovery specifically for your device.
No issues with MD5, kernel or recovery. Was running the device with custom recovery, kernel and root before i went back to stock and updated it OTA.
It is mentioned a few times that J5 is NOT downgradeable, so no chance to go back to you old rom!
and, if i remember right, it also has been mentioned that J5 blocks custom recovery! search in the general section!

HELP: Installed ROM now no network

Hi all,
I am starting a new post as I could not post in the
[ROM](5.1.1 TouchWiz)Tazzy-aurora-Note3-Full note 5 port Stable T-6.1 (19-1-2016)
area, being new and all.
So I flashed:
1. Kernel_Cleaning_AudaxL_v2.9
2. [5.1.1]Tazzy-aurora.Note3.Full.Note5.Port.T-6.1.zip
and now my phone is not registering on the mobile network.
PLEASE HELP!!
Upon restarting I get a message at the top of Samsung screen logo in Red:
kernel is not SEANDROID enforcing.
Thanks
B.

No, go to Samsung updates.com or Sam Mobile and download a firmware for your phone. Firmware is an orginal "rom" for your device From Samsung, and flash it using odin. Your problem could be with the efs files, I had that issue Too with my note 3, you should always back up Your efs files.
Goodluck!
The rom on the phone is probably not compatible with the phone's current modem and or bootloader.
I recommend flashing the latest stock rom via Odin, make sur everything works, then install twrp and a custom rom.

No it won't get bricked.
Just take a backup of the current ROM using recovery before flashing CM 11.
1. Flash ED300's Rollback .zip from here. (Source Thread by ED300.)
2. Flash your desired KK based ROM.

If you direct flash it then your devise stuck on lenovo logo .
so don't directly flash it.

Use TWRP recovery 2.7 if you wanna flash any KK ROM.
Boot into recovery. Make backup of System ( in case you changed your mind and wanted to roll back )
Goto Wipe--> Advance wipe. Then wipe out System, Data, Cache n Dalvik cache.
Goto install, flash the ROM, and gapps. It would work fine
P.S. the instructions provided by the developer of the ROM.

Get a Nandroid backup. Wipe using your custom recovery, flash stock all (Unless you're downgrading). Re-lock bootloader if you want to after stock flash and you should be okay.
