Wondering if this is an Android M thing or something with the phone.
I've noticed that when I try charging the phone completely, the charging icon (lighting bolt logo) doesn't go away. This icon typically means that the phone is still charging correct?
But even after charging for hours/overnight, this charging icon doesn't go away.
Mine also on HTC m8...... Doesn't mean it's charging.... Just showing its plugged in I guess

Is anyone else having problems with the 6p's icon display at the top? It looks like its shadowed or smudged and hard to see. The vibrate icon and picture icons are always there and I can't get rid of them. Anyone help?

I'm not sure what you're asking... In this photo it looks like your actual status/notification bar is overlapping the one in the screenshot. If that's a picture of your home screen, it looks like you used a screenshot as wallpaper and the icons are part of the picture.
Ahhh. Duh! Yes that's what I did. Feel a dumbass now cos I thought something was wrong with the screen. Thanks

Well just noticed that when in portrait while browsing that I have a ghost image of the status bar on the left side of my screen. I was thought to believe amoled did not have this problem but nothing I have done has gotten rid of it. My phone goes into standby after 1 min and I keep screen at about 80% brightness. Any one have any ideas how to get rid of this ghost image?
Might be doing a warenty claim if there's no way to get rid of it....

As I understand it, AMOLED is worse for burn in than CRT screens.
Well taking a screen shot will not show it as its the screen. . I do not have another camera laying around atm or I would try to use that to show it. Basically on light backgrounds such as white or the color of this fourm you can see a outline of the status bar. Basicly darker on that side of the screen... anyone else having this problem?
There seems to be an issue with the super amoled screen. Its not a biggy as of yet. It seems if you have something on the screen for long periods of time it will wear the pixels out. My example....if you go on a white screen in landscape, the look where the status bar usually is (where it says samssamsun) you can see a fainted image of the status bar and a collage of times, battery and signal (i assume from always changing). U cant really see it and sometimes i wish i couldnt. Small flaws like this upset me. My phone isnt rooted (no screen shots) if you have a vibrant or galaxy s. Could you text and see if this is a product wide issue. Thank you for reading please leave comments.

uhh, a screen shot wouldnt show burned out or worn out pixels dude.
So I ran the flashlight application, held up the screen, tried looking at different angles, and couldn't find one anomaly.
You should trade it in for a new one.

I can attest to this. I see it after just booting up and going from the lock screen to the desktop. I can see the faint outline of the white numbers from the time on the lockscreen on my GenieWidget on my desktop at the top of my homescreen(widget has grey background). It seems to dissappear though.
I have some when using color flashlight I see marks where the time is. It is very light but I see it. Tmobile is replacing it now. Lol

Hey everyone I have a problem with my screen color. I was on a voice call with IMO and apparently the app doesn't deactivate the screen when the phone is to your ear and it seems as if my ear was just doing a whole mess up stuff because it even put the phone into airplane mode which ended the call. When I looked at the phone to see what was wrong I notice the colors where all messed up as if it was inverted. All whites are black and everything looks screwed up. I have know idea what happened or what was pressed. I included a screen shot. Any help would be appreciated.

Damn just jump on my computer and the screenshot I attached is different from what Im seeing on the phone.

Edit: Fixed it thank god! It was under accessible -->display and color inversion was turned on, just had to turn that off and it was back to normal.

Hi all. Been with my S10+ for almost a month now, and this device is kicking ass.
Just missing one thing though, and it's the battery indicator using led light. For the notifications, I use Holey Light by chainfire. For the battery indicator, I tried energy ring, but I but comes short as it won't show on AOD.
Does anyone know any app that uses the punch hole for battery level indicator? Like when charging, it'll show the led?

I've used it, but it turns off on AOD. What I need is something that is still on even on AOD.
Hi there I get a blue screen the screen shows the time and date nothing else and it doesn't use the bottom 25% of the screen. Its very weird but it seems like a feature I'm enabling by accident as when I get a call it shows the pick up and hang up options. But I'm unable to get out of that mode.
I have attached a screenshot of what happens. And also screenshot of my rom ect..

It is a feature you're enabling by accident. Do you have a magnet anywhere near??
That is the transparent cover display mode, you know those cases with covers that have a small transparent window on them? They have a magnet, and there is a sensor inside of the phone. When you open the lid the screen turns on, and when you close it it locks and goes to that blue screen for some time.
I think you can disable that on the Display settings, not sure.
