I need help figuring out where my battery option went. Strange thing..suddenly the option was gone ? No special apps installed, I have no root..running out of the box stock Touchwiz.
I've rebooted the phone..done cache wipe in stock recovery. Have not yet factory reset the phone, though it will be my next step, if you guys don't have any ideas...
Never seen this before ?
Battery option was embedded in Smart Manager. I guess something wrong with it
Thanks ☺ found it out..it's back ?

i did and its clear for me that this is the problem, but that happend out of the box. so i thought mybe there is a way like wiping or flashing anything that will solve the problem.
i now have smartmanager removed with TB, but i thought maybe there is a way to get it working without using all the bloatware from sammy
Installed smartmanager back. And can open it no problem but now even battery options in settings will fc.
With sm deinstalled I could at least open battery tab in settings

I rooted my phone using the only avaliable exploit root out currently and was playing around with an app called Du Battery Saver.
I noticed there was an option for controlling the CPU and making it lower while in lock-screen but it needs root permissions.
I have SuperUser and I have tried opening it up, but currently there is 2 apps I am using that are in the list and where ever I go I can't seem to find a way to grant root permissions to this app. Usually when I open the app, it just asks if I want to grant permission to it.. but this one just won't and no google search is helping me out at all.. no info on it whatsoever.
----------
Also off-topic, but I have Next Launcher installed and was wondering if there is a workaround when you restart the phone and it asks which application you want to use for the home screen button, I've google searched it and it seems its like a pretty annoying problem.
I was maybe thinking of deleting Easy Launcher and ToughWiz home so that it defaults to Next Launcher automatically. Would that be possible or would I brick it?
Tell me some more about your phone model etc...

Is SuperUser updated to the latest and its binaries as well?
It's a Samsung Galaxy 4S SGH-I337, the AT&T version
I'm actually not sure how to update SuperUser, it was installed when I used the MotoChopper exploit, here is the link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2252248
I looked it up on the playstore and it just said installed, no option to update or anything.
no options to update within the superuser app either.

ok, I know this is a very late reaction. But I googled this thread because I had the same problem with root permission for Du Battery Saver.
The solution is simple:
You have to activate SuperSu in settings first.
Then when you go to Du Battery and activate Lower CPU frequency you can automatically activate root ...
Hope this makes sense and is mayby of use to other people with same issue.
Bye

bro I appreciate your quick response, and im here breaking my head, can you specify what kind of settings? if I go to SuperSu settings I don't see any option to enable the apps or something, and I really want this app the ask for root permission
I've looked it up, can't tell you exactly anymore where you had to enable Supersu as I don't have it on my new smartphone yet (OPO).
But I found this website with a bit of explanation. sorry can't help you any further. replace the 'dot' by a dot and 'slash' by a real slash as I'm not allowed to post outside links

good luck
If you want to save battery I recommend Greenify over DU battery saver for rooted devices.
Im having the same problem using supersu pro 2.40 du battery saver 3.9.6.5 note 3 n900 lollipop v5
There is no settings in the su as before to provoke permission what should we do
Please help
Any one can help

Yea, don't use du. It's not going to help and only make your battery performance worse

If you have battery issues you probably have wakelocks. The key is to figure out what those are and eliminate them. I recommend betterbatterystats from the play store. Also read this as a starting point http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31974989

If you don't have a clue about what you are talking about, move along and don't make us waste our time with crap! You don't have any reason to brandish your utopian and pathetic "expertise" here! Does anybody have a REAL solution or at least an answer to why this is not working?
Hi people,
My LG G2 theme settings suddenly went missing when I restarted my phone, all the themes settings are gone. Don't even have the button for the themes.(Normally will have the themes option when you go to the display settings) I can't even use the knock on normally as if it's not the default launcher.
Need some help please.
Thank you.

Are you running a custom ROM?
All I did was download home themes and installed them, they all worked but then when I reset the phone this happened.

Had the same issue as you. But then I installed that apk I sent you and all is well.
Maybe try a full wipe and start over.

Hey guys on G900I stock rooted rom untill slimbeam or paranoid comes out, I had disabled s health and other bloat around about the time the "health service has stopped working" but also did some tweaks so i'm not sure what one caused the problem, but i've completely removed s health and i cant see anywhere in system apps/services "health service" just want it gone so the error doesn't come up. I get it about 4-5 times a day. Any help would be appreciated
Did you installed xposed framework? If yes.. That's the reason.

I am having the same problem even after I unistalled xposed framework. Please advise.
To revert, you need to clear the system cache and the Shealth app cache and data.
Lots of threads on how to solve that, you can find lots of elaboration in existing threads if you search.
In short you can have Shealth and Xposed working if you disable secure storage - which breaks private mode, et cetera.
Or you can revert. Basically: Shealth, Xposed, Private mode. Pick any two.
.
I'm running EchoeROM and there are a few apps which reinstall upon reboot. One of them is called CPU Spy Plus and another is called FasterGPS and they are uninstallable through settings. Does anybody have any idea why they'd keep reappearing and how this can be resolved? Cheers lads x

It's probably because they are part of echoe settings so unless you remove echoe settings from your secsettings they will reapper.
I'd either disable them that way they will not show up in your app drawer or swap the secsettings for stock if you really want rid of them

Cheers mate, I've actually managed to just resolve the problem by going into /data/app and deleting their respective folders.
Hi guys,
Sorry if i made a new thread..!!
I am using Bliss 6.0 ROM with squid kernel..!!
Right now i charged to 100% and within half and hour ( not using the phone ) my battery dropped to 10%
I can see Wifi, android OS, running..!!
I am not sure what to do, also I am using lionfish and tweaked according to this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-play/general/power-users-post-optimal-setup-t3313348/page11
Not exactly tweaked..just my processer is at 1.4 as i need a little performance..!! except that I have done everything said on that post.
Plz help
According to the screenshot, betterbatterystats also show wifi is on, wifi running..same as stock battery display..and 23% of a loss??? Is this normal?
install greenify and enable the aggressive doze mode. charge to full again and see if it would make any difference.
Amplify + Greenify + Appopsxposed + Powernap and no one can touch your battery.
go back to stock and check.
