[Q] International versions of Nexus 7

Dear friends,
Im a potential buyer of the Nexus 7. (16GB)
The problem is that the device is not yet available in my country. (Greece) as well as many other (European or not) countries.
The 2 possible and preferred locations I can buy the Nexus from, is UK and US.
I see the Nexus 7 mentioned as US version or UK version or AU version in popular marketplaces such as eBay.
I also saw an owner (I beleive within XDA forum) that mentioned in his device owner description that he had an unlocked Nexus 7!
Can owners or anyone else with knowledge on the matter, share with us if there are -differences to look out for-?
(and also, why someone would call his Nexus 7 "unlocked" ?)
Regards
Gus
In Poland is c9o. For 240 EUR - 16Gb version.

Thanx for your reply but this is the question!
What's the difference between c90 and the rest of them?
I'm in Australia. The software that is installed on the device has some regional differences. I found this out after flashing the factory version from https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#nakasi.
The only difference I noticed is that English (Australia) wasn't an option in the factory build.
But I'm now running CM10, which does have all the regional settings, so it's not an issue for me.

Thanx Bill.
I hope we get more info from other countries too, as to what other differences there might be.

[Q] New To Nexus 4

Hi everyone just got my brand new shiny Nexus 4 in the mail about 2 days ago (luckily I ordered it when I did because it was sold out like 3 days later L:laugh:L). It's already been upgraded to 4.3 JWR66Y. My main question is how do I enable the 4G LTE on it? It's on T-Mobile BTW. I know I'll have to ROOT and unlock BOOTLOADER in order to do this and I'll most likely flash a ROM, I want it as close to stock as possible so which do you guys recommend? I hear PA is the way to go. Thanks in advance guys

Your phone will be updated when C185B560 will release it depends on your build number and not the country you reside in.

Can someone please help?

Hi all I'm super new to this so I'm hoping someone can help me and I hope I'm doing this right. Thanks for your time ?
I live in Perth, Western Australia and recently bought an unlocked ZTE axon 7 mini (ex display) from a local retailer for a steal.
I can't seem to get it to update though through its native update program (just says network unavailable)
It's running Android 6 marshmallow and I know that it can run nougat (I'm hoping Oreo too maybe? Or soon?) in other countries and I'm hoping one of you brilliant tech wizards can help me as I feel the phone will benefit greatly especially with the battery life. Here's it's particulars
Model - ZTE B2017G
Android v - 6.0.1
Build - ZTE B2017G APV1.0.0B01
If you need any more info (like baseband or kernel, not sure if you need that?) please let me know I'll update this thread.
Thanks again!
Did you manage to update your phone firmware?

Is the G6 still considered an android enterprise recommended?

In case of buying the phone , will i still be receiving the (monthly) google security patches or will i have go for a custom rom?
Regarding the european variant models , single or ds .
tnx in advance!
