You can go to G+ community of GZR and ask them (Somber is maintainer for Moto X)

I didn't try, but I pretty sure, that it has same issues like CM12
I tried Validus too. Good ROM. Although no Ambient Display is a killer.
I like the Dark settings app, but hate the icon and the boot animation.
Do you know when it'll be updated. Also, does ACIP have ambient display?
I just found this thread. Shouldn't it be in the development section? The Validus rom is great! And the boot animation reminds me of my Razr days! I love it.

So I tried both of the afore mentioned ROMs.
1st - Validus
- Somewhat stable build.
- No Ambient Display.
- A different settings icon, and theme (dark).
- Some nifty features like (taken from other ROMs)
+Network Speed
+Change navigation bar height
+List view animations
+System animation control
+Viper sound control.
- Freaky boot animation.
2nd - AICP
- Won't really call it a stable build.
- No ambient display.
- A few nifty features? Well there aren't many. Or any.
- Everything is almost like CM12.
- Cool boot animation.
That's it folks!
None of them have Ambient Display, so I'm back to cm12 now. @St.Noigel can you pls keep us updated with any further updates on these two ROMs?

Well honestly, I didn't really try youtube, WhatsApp or phones calls to report any such bugs... But if they were in CM builds before 23 Nov, they will be in both of them too
+ No ambient display is a big enough bug for me to not chose these Roms as a DD

Nopes just now this rom got released According to dev he said that he didnt found any bug in this rom
So am dedicating this thread for testing the roms based on Nougat.
I will update all my future builds here in this thread directly and kindly dont messup other people's posts with my builds.

I was gonna report the same :/
on KII-L21
Validus OS
-com.android.phone crash and the popup is displayed only few miliseconds.it is so hard to navigate that I couldn't even install syslog :/ and test it more. Sorry that I couldn't pull any logs don't have my lappy near hand.
Zephyr OS doesn't boot....

For all of you wanting to try out Resurrection Remix on their beloved Xiaomi mi5s Plus, I have made a build.
I think I do not need to introduce Resurrection Remix.
You probably all know about that fantastic ROM.
I just would like to stress that I take absolutely no credit for this.
All the credit goes to the magnificent work of Luk1337 : I bow down to him for his work on closed sources !
Of course the rest of the credit goes to the wonderful Resurrection Remix team... The number of features they've included and still managed to offer a stable and smooth ROM is amazing !
Of course, as I am just a compiler, but not a developer : I can offer no real support for this.
So take it as it is...
I don't even have time to check those builds.
So they're basically blind builds that may not even boot

This ROM I love me. Only I have seen a bug in the camera, this when record not save in the gallery. Is bug in ROM Lineage buid 24th the March is same.
Battery drain.
I whould me official build for this device. But little to little this develop is more big.

As in actually the launcher? Try home switcher in the app store, downloading another launcher or "clear default" under your current launcher app in all your apps.
Edit: I forgot, you can also go to your apps, touch the cogwheel and change your home app.

Every works fine except led notofication. In version of lineage 26th,27th and toda y 28th works fine.
What happened in Resurrection Remix?
Is possible make a flasheable zip or new build for fix it?

So, after the device got AOSP Extended a little earlier, I also worked on Dirty Unicorns, one of my all-time favorite ROM's.
I think there's no need to introduce this ROM. It's reputation precedes it

I have sound when I use Google Play Music... and other apps.
But indeed it seems there are no "System sounds".

That's because Dirty Unicorns is 7.1.2 based.
And you haven't the lastest Open GApps.
Download the latest GApps and you'll be good to go

Not the 7.1 are good. But you just make sure you have the "Nano" pack from at least 14th April...
Earlier versions will not work.

1. Own Website+XDA discussion thread- Lineage Os,AOSP extended,Viper OS etc
2. Own website + No XDA discussion thread-
Dirty Unicorns,AOSCP,Xperience,Slim roms,AICP etc
3. No website + No XDA thread- Some devs publish their builds at afh....for example,Validus,Tesla,Tipsy unofficial roms(as the official support dropped),Slim unofficial
This nougat/Oreo rom list thread is intended for point 2 and 3 mainly..there are lot of people who visit XDA regularly but does not know the existence of other roms which have separate website or published only in afh..
For kernels,They don't have such fragmentation...all the kernel builds are posted on XDA...That's why I am not too fond of adding kernel threads..

Thread updated with some new nougat and Oreo roms..
Dot os is based on lineage os,aoscp is a blend of los and caf..it's nice to see that all Rom links are working...for a quick update,AEX 5 based on 8.1 will arrive in the near future..Devs are working on Dirty Unicorns(unofficial),aoscp,Cosmic os and many more roms.....volte issue is solved ,the only thing to resolve is the camcorder...rest assured,osprey is going to get massive Oreo Rom support..more Devs are working on Oreo for osprey,more than the no of Devs for nougat..thats a good sign for a almost 3 years old device...
So guys,our device will last longer for sure..

I've used lineage 15 (Oreo) for some time, every features I needed was fully working. The only problem is that performance is too much slow, especially after some apps installed, with time it shows more lags. Nougat ROMs have much more performance improvements. That is the reason I'm not so excited with new Oreo versions, plus, there is no XPosed for it yet, so customisation is poor. In future maybe it get better, but I'm not expecting this happening so soon.
