Many people are joining xda on daily basis. Some of them join the forum to get custom ROMs while some join in order to get some of their problem that they are facing with their phones solved.
There are dedicated threads for ROMs but what about HELP/QUESTIONS??
People generally straight away start a new thread to get their doubts solved. But this can lead to chaos in the forum.
I'm creating this thread as an alternative to *New Threads* that aim to resolve a question.
Not only this, this thread can also become a Database kind of place where people can look if their question is already solved or not...
I request all members of the BLUE STUDIO 5 sub-forum to help and answer some questions posted here if they can.
I hope you guys get the idea behind this thread...

Tried to backup the boot.img with the terminal emulator but it's not finding the path. Any other way find the boot.img?

At first MTK droid tools was detecting the phone but was unable to root. The solution was to run unsecured adb on the phone then plug it in to MTK and follow the rest of the video.
5.0 HD LTE does not detect 32gb sd card
I have a BLU 5.0 HD LTE that does not seem to be recognizing the 32gb micro SD card I put in it. I have tried mounting it through storage in settings but that did not do a thing. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might have.

All of a sudden my phone a blu studio 5.0 c asking for privacy protection password. I tried the power with volume up/down button and factory reset but no luck. Plse help.
OTA update brick my phone
So, I have a BLU studio 5.0 C HD, and after attempting to update I got a no command message, clicking anything goes back to recovery mode. I factory reset my phone and cache, but still have the same message when I reboot the system. Any ideas on how to fix it? I'm trying to flash a stock rom, but the only method I found so far was to use sp flash tool. But that requires USB debugging enabled, which I don't have, and can't enable it atm. I read somewhere I shouldn't be Flashing through recovery mode, so IDK what to do. Would appreciate help, ty.
3G/4G missing in Europe
Good day,
I got my BLU Studio C and it doesn't support 3G/4G what my carrier is offereing in European Union.
As per Carrrier - need to wait for some kind of software update, maybe then phone will work on 3G/4G.
Is there some kind of non-official updates to solve this issue?
Now I can use only 2G. But as per phone specification is it ok for 2-4G.

Hello everyone! And thank you @abhishekr700 for making this thread.
I recently bought a Blu Studio 5.0 HD LTE. Apparently there's little or no information at all about this phone. I want to upgrade it to Android 5.0 or 5.1 but I can't install the custom recovery since there ar no links at all. I tried to follow the steps on a tutorial (I can't post any links yet), but I can't find my smartphone model and the post continuosly warns you that there are problems with Qualcom chips and it is not that safe so I'm a little scared but I want the Android Lollipop really bad, i love that OS.
Would someone please help me to continue with this process? I already rooted my phone using Kingroot which I got on the play store. I'd appreciate it a lot!

To my knowledge, no one has gotten close to this. There is a way to get native Linux as the primary OS. Look for Android on Linux.

Thanks. I'm not sure if it is the right path for me. I would mainly be using it for in home streaming. However I don't want to upset the android side with root as I also use it for sky go and other catch up channels. Is there a way to implement Ubuntu or Linux without having permanent root?

2. 15 second adb and fastboot v1.4.3(incase minimal Adb fails)
3. Twrp v3.0.2
4. Radioactive reborn kernel v2.23
5. Tool all in one v1.0.2.2
6. Supersu v2.76
7. Lenovo usb drivers for Zuk Z1 v1.0.12
Am I missing anything else...
Also, please look into my problem.
(a) Supersu zip installation is compulsory or not.
I mean, Is rooting via Supersu compulsory for installing twrp and kernel.
Also should I use Supersu or flashfire.
Please tell if I have downloaded any wrong version of tools or any thing else that I may have missed.
Any help is appreciated.

Issues in unlocking Bootloader of Zuk Z1
hi guys,
I am trying to unlock Bootloader of my phone. After the first command given in your website, the response is ''Device <null> not found" or something like that. There was another link in comment section referring the same problem. That link said something about unlocking bootloader of 'untouched phone'. After the first command of that link, the response is '(waiting for device)' . There is no other response. Please help me root my phone. It is much appreciated if you guys give me step wise process (along with respective download links). I am a first timer.

If MIUI doesn't come pre rooted you can do it with supersu. The all in one tool isn't designed to root roms. It is for unlocking the bootloader and install custom recovery in first.
As you have already MIUI installed, then you have already unlocked your bootloader, installed a custom recovery and a custom rom.
Do you really know what "rooting" means? It's only giving more user privileges over the standard ones to obtain deeper access to the system to modify things for example.

No I have't installed MIUI8 yet. Mine phone is running CyanogenMod 12.1. I have not changed anything yet. It is the same as when I bought it. Now I want to root it and be able to flash any custom ROM that I like.

1st before all: read again the pros and cons of unlocking bootloader and read the instructions twice before doing anything. Your alone responsible for your doing!
1st: you have Cyanogen OS 12.1 installed, that's not the same as cyanogenmod. That's just for information
2nd You don't understand what rooting means. Please read again.
3rd Yes you can follow the steps from the link until step 6. After that you can flash a custom rom which is in most cases rooted.

You first need to unlock bootloader to be able to root manually. The following video may teach you quite few things. You're welcome.

Take a look at post 2 in the Developer image thread. There are instructions mentioning a beta TWRP and Magisk. Seems like a rooting solution to me. I've never tried this myself but that thread seems like it would be a good start for you.

If you haven't rooted say Android phones before, I'd follow the advise of others. Especially when the root methods are beta in nature and not tried and tested by those with experience. Personally while curious, I'm already on the Nvidia hotfix images and the device works very well for me. I can't see the need as of yet. With that being said all my other Android devices are rooted and hacked to some degree or other.
It's recommended not rooting you lose AI Upscaling feature unless your not bothered about it also you lose it if bootloader is unlocked or tampered with

hi, I have successfully rooted the Shield Pro 2019.
Unfortunately big problems: both 8.0.1 and 8.1.1 aren't stable. To a degree where it's not usable.
All of a sudden I get black screens. Netflix videos won't start, even the YouTube app sometimes won't start up.
Are you guys actually able to use the Shield rooted, or what am I missing?

I was just checking in and loosing that feature kills it for me. When I bought the device I assumed AI Upscaling was just marketing hype but used it the middle setting definitely adds a 4K likeness to a 1080p image on my 4K projector. I also like that the frame-rate restriction of [email protected] or lower is a non-issue as that is source specific. All streaming sources I play (Netflix, Prime, Disney+, Crave and YouTube) are [email protected] or lower so I'm always having AI Upscaling kick in. Originally I was using frame-rate matching as I thought that was the only way to meet the AI Upscaling criteria but I was mistaken.
Yeah I've done rooting in the past, so I'd be game to try it, but not if it's unstable.
