Some time ago there was an app called HaxSync, and many others, but I've found HaxSync the best of all to do the task.
The dev from HaxSync was hired by Facebook, then Facebook did some API modifications and suddenly all those apps stopped work, or simply doesn't work correctly as expected, this is the information I've found after a long and deep research on Google.
I really don't know if any of those apps are working by now, or any other new app have been created.
I know one app that pick the Whatsapp Pictures and put it on Contacts (Whatsapp Contact Photo Sync), and you can do it manually thru Google Contacts too, but is a boring task.
Hope this information is helpful, and sorry for any grammatic mistake, my first language isn't English.
Thanks for the answer
I took the difficult way and did it with Google contacts

tried it and i dont like it !

The regular facebook for android app syncs contacts, phone numbers, pictures, status, ... You'll need something else for birthdays though. EboBirthdays maybe?
Hi!
My contacts are stored in Google. When it is displayed, I can see 1 contact/file.
But, when I search, I get multiple results. Looking at each of them, eg. KC, i see a contact for Waze, a contact for WhatsApp, a contact with numbers etc. (see picture)
Question: Why does it show so many individual contacts (Waze, WhatsApp, Numbers, etc) during Search?
Note: I've already customized the contacts to be shown, to Only show Google contacts.
Thank you!
Try to open contact .. and from option button. .select manage similar contact .. sort by number and link

Same here, when I try to connect to my Zarafa-Accounts on my QNAP-NAS :crying:
Mail and contact works very well, but calendar is not shown.
My other/older phones, or my Nexus 7 (also with Android 5.1.1) do not have this problem.
Any updates?

No, and communication/information from ZUK is really bad
So I finally send back the ZUK Z1 and buy another phone and now everything works fine.
Unfortunately now I have a smaller battery, less memory, no USB-C but everything else is much better and works as expected.
Well i tried the built-in email app (powered by boxer) and it worked great and synced calendar and contacts too!
Might it be from the server side?

Did you sync an exchange-account (which server?) or any other account (ex. google)?
I have tried it with over 8 devices and in every device calendar-sync with an exchange-account works perfect, only the ZUK Z1 doesn't even recognize the calendar in the exchange-account-settings (only email and contacts).
With a google-account it's no problem.

Yes an exchange account!

But what is really annoying is the fact that our server policy requires a tough security screen lock like pin, password or fingerprint. Remaining optiins aren't possible.
On my note 4 i could chose fingerprint, yet on the zuk the option was greyed out and not available! Very weird! it's like the phone doesn't have a fingerprint!
It's either a poor implementation of the fingerprint where it isn't really incorporated in the system; or the policy/server doesn't support this phone since it's fairly unknown!
In both cases is a big inconvenience so i had to resort to a 3rd party app like cloudmagic to still be able to use the fingerprint!
I tested with accounts in Exchange 2013 and 2010 and the result is the same. No calendar integration. My boxer email app is in version 2.6.3 (241).
On zimbra 8.6 sp 4 is the same. No calendar.

You have to uninstall boxer email and reinstall it via playstore. Also for me the original version of Boxer email didn't permit calendar integration, after this operation everything is Ok.

Awesome! That did the trick. Thanks.
Hey there,
I tried to reinstall Boxer, but I'm still not able to sync my exchange calendar with my Zuk Z1. Can anybody confirm this issue? And even more important: has anybody a clue how to fix that problem? I really need my calendar synced.
Thanks in advance!
I had no issues. On Cyanogen OS using Boxer. Simple set up, using fingerprint security, mail and contacts and calendar app works wonderfully. In fact better than cm12 on my old lg g2.
Am I really the only Person with that problem?I really Need my calendar synched with my zuk z1! Any suggestions what else I could try to make it work?
Exchange files for ZUK Z1
Hello guyzz....
I was also facing the problem since i got the ZUK Z1 then i found the solution to fix the exchange sync problem.
I tried with many apps and boxer as well but no luck, you can download the zip file from the below link.
Just directly go the recovery mode and flash zip.

I never receive Facebook notifications of the official app on my Zuk Z1. I have checked all the settings, both of the app and the phone. Reinstalled the app etc. Temporary solution for now is to allow facebook push messages in Chrome, but its not ideal. Anybody else the same problem?
Check app promission?

you can use the export to .vcf file feature under Import/Export menu in Contacts app. you then can store it internally, email to yourself, save inside sd card etc.

The answer to your problem:
In the Google Play Store is a app called: MyLocalAccount (all one word), d/l and install the app. Go to your phone settings and look under accounts and it should be there as MyLocalAccount. When you save a contact it should ask you for account after you have done the above. Select "MyLocalAccount" when saving all your contacts and it will now be only on your phone and not anywhere in the cloud or google. You can use other programs from the Play Store to move around & delete contacts from any Google account to the MyLocalAccount. Personally I think the MyLocalAccount app is one of the hidden treasures of the Play Store.

First of all open the Apps list from settings and use the right corner dots to "Show System Apps" and from the list select "Google Contacts Sync" and DISABLE the app.
Now open Contacts app and click on the three dots to bring the drop down. From there select Manage Account/Contacts to Display. This will list the accounts that are currently being linked to the Contacts app, what we need to do is disable the Contacts Sync option for each of these apps and that will make each app disappear from the list. The main apps to disable Contacts sync would be email handling ones like Google, Outlook etc. Once you have properly removed all the accounts synced with the Contacts app, then try to Create a new contact. . . the phone will bring up a pop up asking to Add an account or Keep Local. . . .Just select keep local and the jobs done. . . . No more link to Google
