Download it, look at the README, and you'll see it's the 2.6.36 kernel source and not 3.0

The current roms work fairly well with a 2.6 kernel, so now we can have the real drivers, hopefully it will make things a bit more stable.
We're supposed to sell our Tabs an buy the Tab 2. Why would they release something to slow the sale of the Tab 2? I'm sure when the Tab 3 comes out with 4 cores and the number of Tabs being used drops to less than 3% they will release source with ICS. Of course nobody will be using ICS by then.

Did you read this in your head before you posted it? Have you taken the least amount of time to analyse it before posting?
1- AOSP agreement obligates anyone who releases an os based on android to relase the source code
2- As for the latest agreement, any provider is to ensure update for 18 months following the release
3- ICS was already annouced for the Tab 10.1
4- Only apple disciples sells their devices to get the "new one wich is almost the same but Apple says it's new so it's better", most of the consumers will try to get the most out of their devices and will not follow this line.

I you have read the posts from this topic you would see that we are still waiting for the release of source code.
Until then most probably there will be no camera support.
This thread is misleading. It should be locked, until the code is released...

Yeah hoping the same. Currently i am using Redmi Note 5 Pro for the past one and half month and i am loving it. Its just that because of few nifty features and additions i wanna move to asus max pro that too with 6gb variant so that atleast camera is at par with note 5 pro.
