When I press the power button to wake it up.
My Hp slate 7 extreme seem like the touchscreen working abnormal.
It seem like when I touch it one time. It become to double touch or triple touch.
I try to install touchscreen check software. It seem like when I do a one touch it will stuck and repeat touch on the same point for a while (around 1-2 sec).
But when I press it to sleep and wake up immediately again. This problem was gone !!!!
It occur only the first time when I woke it up from sleep only !!!
Does everybody found this problem like me ?

Hi everyone, I recently switched from HTC Touch to X1 and something has changed that I do not really like or at least I'm not used to this now and would like to have it in the same old way. I have WinMob 6.5 but this should not have anything to do with this effect.
Normally I use the stylus to press the touchscreen and immediately the device reacts, but now with X1 the device does nothing after first stylus press, and after a second pressing the device reacts as it should.this sometimes is annoying.
Maybe I also should say that this of course only happens when when backlight dims down. by first pressing backlight recovers and a second pressing make the device react. how to change this to direclty reacting after pressing in backlight-dim mode?
Thanks for feedback
Norbert

This is something I LOVE about it! It really stops any unintentional presses!

Its not a bug, its a feature. And i like it....
Turn backlight dimming off, so that your x1 turns off after some time without to dim. Then you won't have the problem.
Dear Jordan, did your device react instantly even when the backlight was dimmed? I'd like this feature. Please tell me.
I am wondering if it is possible to configure my hermes to wake up from sleep using the touch screen.
After the phone went to sleep, by pressing the power button for example, I could just touch the device to wake it up. I don't think pocket dial is such a big deal, I could use a lock screen to prevent that.
Only solution I found is to configure windows not to turn the device off. But I think the battery will drain faster if the device can't go to sleep mode.
Any thoughts?
Hi, I have had sweep2wake/double tap to wake for a long time now, and I've always had a problem with waking up in the pocket, but there's one thing that is weird. If I leave it in my pocket for too long, the screen will become unresponsive, eg I can press the power button to turn the screen on, but after that I can't use the screen. I have to reboot to get the screen to work again.
Anyone have a problem like this?
i do get that some times.
you can try placing all ten fingers on the screen at one time and then try the touch screen again.
works well for me when my touch screen hangs.

That is a well known issue and we can't do anything for it. you can use a flipcover case and avoid such problem or else sacirfice s2s/d2w feature.
I see, thanks

Hello
i am not able to post in the Dev section where the other bug reports seem to be , as I am new, so I am posting here in case it helps. If there is some where else I should, please let me know.
Running 7.1.1 N4F26I on an oppo find 7 x9076,
When the screen is off, and i press the power button to wake it up, on some occassions, the screen is weird; the vertical left half and right half are interchanged. T
So the screen which should look like [AB] looks like B][A
I am able to bring up the reboot menu by pressing the power button and touching the reboot icon (which appears to the right of where it originally should. he only recourse is to reboot, to revert to normal.
This doesnt happen every single time that the screen is off, but I am not able to reliably reproduce. I'd reckon this happens 1 in 10 times.
Other than that, great ROM, and very snappy on the Find 7.
Hi,
I got my display changed recently to an OEM one , so it should be fine. But after one week, sometimes the touch sensor seems to be going to sleep somehow. If I leave the phone in any menu, app for 4-5 seconds, I have to tap it more than 3 to 8 times to make itt sense my fingers again. If I tap repeatedly, It works. If I leave it for a while, It does not sense my first touches. What can be the problem?
Thank you very much!
