Is it me or the HD2's camera does not refocus when recording video?
Scenario: start video recording with a close up subject and then move to capture an object in the distance. The camera does not refocus. ...and neither did the HD. This would be a nice thing to have!
The camera does not perform auto-focus during video recording. why? - good q.
+1. Would be nice if Damien could come out with some tweak for this.
i would also like this, its really annoying nd makes sum videos come out fuzzy...anyone kno a fix
can't believe no one else has identified this problem, thiers no refocus once you start a video lol.... what a dumb problem... i am sure this cold be fixed easily if somone looked into it..
Very curious about this too.
Hi,

Hi! I´ve been searching alot for this and hope somone can help
Is it possible to capture an HDR time lapse? When i push the button for recording the screen is pushing the lightning to normal mode.
Also the finished video is no hdr even when hdr is acitve.
Anyone know why? I can capture hdr pictures but not in timelapse. That doesn´t make sense to me
i've had time to play with the pro settings for this camera, since i've been shooting a lot of behind the scene footage for our film, with this phone. I've noticed that the manual settings doesn't stick when you start recording video. This usually happens in dark scenarios. Does the low light feature not apply to the video recording?
I think its for photos only.
Oneplus 6t has bad camera app for photos but for recording movies it's even worse.
What app for recording videos do you use?
I'm looking for an app that will have manual options like: manual focus, 24fps, exposure lock, iso, flat video recording.
I have tried Opencamera but its so bugged. It cant record 24fps on our phone and the interface is uncomfortable.
I found HedgeCam 2. It's a fork of Opencamera. It has much better interface but it also has bugs from Opencamera (no 24fps).
Is there any working app?
I really like the gcam port, also for video recording. It's smoothness during zoom in/out is very good, almost as iphone.
