Who voted this one star? LOL
Its been out over a week easily, how is this a video? Anyone who wants it already has it.
Even M previews video been out for awhile which honestly isn't much of a difference from this video.

hey
i got this idea to compare x10 side by side with similar phones and post the video on youtube, so people would stop comparing x10 with other phones and hopefully see what the x10 can do with froyo or 2.1.
so if you got a friend with a nexus 1, droid x, iphone, whatever. try and make a comparison video and upload it to youtube.
atm i dont got any friends with any good smartphones, but once i get to school ill try and upload a video.
heck even writing about it would work
thx
Hey guys,
I have a good quality webcam, some filming experience, good lighting, a YouTube account, a lot of free time (unemployed) and a Nexus One right next to a Nexus S. Would any of you guys be interested in me making some comparison/Q&A videos?
Start firing questions at me.
Go for it.
Make a day light/indoor comparison of the screens.
Have two heavily flash based sites load on both.
Take pics of the same thing with both cams indoor and outdoor and compare.
I would prefer u wait for Nexus 1 to to get gingerbreadified

Hmmm...good point. Gingerbread for N1 could launch very soon. (next few days)
Hello,
I have been reading around, and I found a thread in which people have been kernel modding and achieving higher quality and more FPS, but all the download links are broken.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2159076
They seem to report success, but the thread closes inactively without any updates or links.
The goal is essentially getting 60FPS on 720P video, much like what the iPhone 4S provides.
I am wondering if anyone here has any information about this that they can provide? Is anyone aware of any mod or kernel mod that can provide 60FPS video recording in any mode for the Nexus 4? Surely the hardware is capable.
You do know that unless you use 3d recording anything more that 24 is an over kill, 29~30 to look smoother
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4
Of course I know that, but that only applies for general video recordings. I want 60FPS for a very specific use, to slow down the video 2.5x (to 24fps) while still being fluid for slow-motion recordings.
Such a useless response.

Why there is always some idiot saying that there is no point of using 60fps ?
Like,.. always,... some F conspiracy or what
Can you upload sample video?
Edit: the post I was referring to, was deleted

hmm read through the thread that you had posted a link to, i believe that was a real screen shot at the end, it is possible tto film 720p60fps i know because my htc rezound that was released in november 2011 had the ability to film slomo video at [email protected] that phone was no where near as pwerfull as the nexus 4, so i know n4 can do it i would love to see the abilty unlocked in either a mod or an app
I also believe the screenshot was real. But file metadata is one thing and real video measurement is the other.
I think it is all what he achieved, and the rest is just trolling people.

Want to make a bounty for it?
I'll add $5 to that bounty.

Yes I'm good for $5 maybe we can get some more people in on this. I'd like to see it work for both n4 and n5, but I'd settle for the n4, I think the n5 could do 120fps at 720p easy
So since i'm still on the fence Moto X Pure / Nexus 5X (maybe LG G4, Xperia Z5):
I couldn't find any sample videos of concerts or clubs, does anyone have hands-on experience with this?
My N4 is bad at this, the 5X doesn't seem to perform much better either, while i could record myself drumming nearly without distortion with the Moto X 2013.
i got to concerts/shows 3-4 times a week and have been impressed with videos ive taken... they sound wayyyy better than they did with my galaxy S5... not sure if ive filmed anything with my moto camera and saved but i believe i saved some snapchats... ill see if i can upload a sample to dropbox for you...give me a little bit
Edit: that's really weird. i had never played my snaps i saved before and when i went to play them they wouldn't play(guessing bc the stock video player doesn't play mp4's?)...downloaded vlc and rebooted and all my snaps were deleted(folder doesn't even appear anymore) o_0... im going to a show saturday so i'll take some video with the camera and post if you would like/can wait till then
Of course, that would be great.
Not a lot of reasons why i prefer the 5X (one is the camera, still images are a bit better and Moto won't give us RAW ) - so that would be another + on my list.
I'll upload samples tomorrow night!

I have several live shows I plan on recording tomorrow evening. I typically record live shows and post on my YouTube channel. Tomorrow it'll be Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilot tribute bands. So you'll get an idea how it'll sounding a live club like environment.

thank you for this, this means when I goto concerts I don't have to worry about the audio being total garbage!
GREAT for concerts. Amazing sound and stabilization even though no OIS.

Dear s8 users & future s8 users
It blows my mind knowing the fact that in 2017 a freaking flagship phone from Samsung the mighty s8 does not have an option to shoot 1080p at 120fps. For videographers its a must.
It shoots freaking 4k but can't do this.
Honestly I bought this phone thinking it would have this... but I am completely lost here.
Any way on this guy's. What do you think.. is there any workaround currently
Please anonyone correct me if I'm wrong, but the capabilities solely depend on the sensor (which is last year's by the way since the S7 had the same one), so your only option is filming 60fps 1080p, then adding frame interpolation using After Effects or software like SlowmoVideo.

If this is so important to you and is a make or brake feature, why do you buy a phone without making sure it does support it?

Because even 2016 phones such as the iphone 7 or google pixel can hell even in 2015 the iPhone 6s can...and it's now 2017 For a freaking flagship to not have it. Are you getting it.
Shame on Samsung, such a nice camera gone to waste... No [email protected] and no 1080p @ 120
great simply great

That's not the point. You have a feature you MUST have and spend 700 bucks or so without checking if the phone can do it?
It's like complaining that it doesn't have a 4k display but should have because Sony has had it for years, or that it doesn't come with stock Android but Google did it for over a decade.
Samsung decided to leave it out for a reason. No Need to complain about it. It's not like it's false advertising or so... Unlike the ufs thingy...
