You can add widgets to the G Board(smart bulletin) very easily.
Enable Lg hidden menu using G4 TWB.
The option will be added to the home screen settings menu.
Open it up and scroll until you see support smartbulletin import widget.
Once you select it back out to save, do not press the home button or it won't save.
Now go to the G Board settings menu and tap the three dot menu and then add.
Now add which ever widgets are available. You can remove through the same three dot menu.
The setting doesn't get saved

There's an app in the Market that's called Home Switcher. Install that and you'll be able to pick your home launcher of choice.
settings/ applications/ manage applications/ [select the home replacement app] and then select "clear defaults"...
next time you press home you'll get the options presented to you again..
Or another quick way is to go to timescape then go to settings then check set as home button. Then uncheck it
Then press the home button and you will see the Home Options Window.
Thanks Guys
How do you change the default home screen? Like when I press the home button it will use that instead? Cause im trying out the ADW Launcher but its not in the applications lists so I cant open it.
When using a program try holding the home button, this should pop up with a menu that says "complete action with" and show Home or ADW. Or something like that, I know Ive seen that menu before.
Yea, it used to show the menu. But then I set the Home as default action so if I press home it will bring me to the home i dont want and if I hold it, it shows a box with recently opened apps

Holding the home button is the action for bringing the recent app list. *FAIL*

Go into application settings and clear the defaults for Home.
Settings-> Applications-> Manage Applications
Scroll down do the Home application (cant remember if its called home or what, deleted my Launcher.apk ages ago after getting root). Once you have cleared the defaults. A press on the home button will show you options to select your home screen, this will include ADW, Home and TimeScape, select ADW and check "Set as default".
Guide to create GPSSetup2 shortcut on the homescreen. First you'll have to download and install the homescreen and launcher replacement LauncherPro (Attached, link at the bottom). Then, follow these steps.
1. Press the center key on the phone. You'll get two options on the screen: 'LauncherPro' and 'TwLauncher'. Select LauncherPro. Let LauncherPro load.
2. Now again press the center key and this time select TwLauncher.
3. After it loads, press and hold your finger on an empty spot on the screen.
4. In the list that pops out, select Shortcuts.
5. Then select Activities.
6. After a few seconds you'll get a long list of Applications. Scroll down to GPSSetup2. Touch GPSSetup2, it'll expand to show more options. From this expanded list, select the first option i.e GPSSetup2 (com.sec.android.app.GPSSetup2.GpsSetup).
7. That's it. You'll now have a shortcut to GpsSetup2 on the homescreen.
8. After this is done, simply go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications and uninstall Launcher Pro if you don't want to use it.
9. If you do want to use it, press the center key, tick 'Use by default for this action', then press 'LauncherPro' (Much better than the Samsung Launcher and homescreen, except for the less colorful icons).
That's it. No need to enter that long code anymore to enter GPSSetup2 everytime..
Alternate Method: (By stubborn_d0nkey)
1. Download and install any cut (only 31 kb) from the market
2. Long press on a home screenc
3. Choose shortcuts->any cut->activity
4. scroll down to gpssetup2 and click on it
5. Click ok (change the name if you want to)
6. there ya go
if you wish you can uninstall (settings->applications->manage applications-> any cut and press unistall) and the shortcut will stay.
but it is only 31kb and it might be useful sometime in the future

I'm using activities in LaunchPro - that's very usefull also for switching APNs (exchange/google) but I haven't found any manual for gpsSetup2 (what each option is good for)

1. Download and install any cut (only 31 kb) from the market
2. Long press on a home screenc

GPSSetup as (favorite) contact
Why not just set the USSN Code of GPSSetup as phone contact?
Type the numbers, save them once and "call" them any time you need GPS. So theres no need to install additional apps

Yeah, you are right, but there are more steps involved in selecting the saved contact and then calling to run it, unless you have a widget to store a direct link to call the contact on the homescreen. Creating the shortcut, although more complicated at first, is a much faster way later to access it.
Ive installed Launcher Pro Plus but im having problems with the return button and the options button not working an some instances. for instance i cant exit the contact screen with the return button nor i can delete apps from the drawer (app list) any way to fix this?
Long press the contact icon > change shortcut > applications > Contacts...
Choose if you want the default icon or launcher pro icon....thats it...back button should be working now...

Strange...it works for me...which rom are you using...and as for the apps not deleting from the drawer....you can't do anything....you'll have to uninstall apps from application menu
You can delete apps by:
Long Press On App
Drag To Trash Can
Hold Over Trash Can Until Prompted to Uninstall
The contcet problem is in every rom...Me too cant go back frm the contact by pressing back button...
Sent from my GT-I5800 using XDA App

Thanx man! Worked for me. Was suffering for a long time from this small bug
Maybe there is no this func, but I saw on the demo in youtube that there should be a possibility to customize hardware buttons behavior. Also should be possible to enable swipe on Home button.
If you type in search box in General Settings keyword "camera" it will show you that there should be some settings in Buttons, to set behavior. But if you press on context link - it shows button menu but very limited.
Do you have one?
Thanks

If I'm not wrong swipe on Home is available on ZUI home, not Cyanogen OS.
On Buttons menu you can set home long press action, home doube tap action (doesn't work on latest update).
I personally use "All In One Gestures" app to configure buttons

Thanks a lot. I will try!
The reason is I would like to set a camera on double tap action and cannot find how to do it by default.
Regards, Sergii
In Settings -> About Phone turn on Advanced mode. Then you can configure buttons. I have it set up just as you'd like it, double tap for camera, works perfectly for me with latest update.
