Does Priority interruptions function properly on your OP2? - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
Priority interruptions do not work for me. I have checked everything and after setting what to show and what not to, still I am getting notifications. This happens in No interruptions as well.
It just dosen't work the way it should.
Anyone having a solution for this problem?

Hi there, I don't know why you opened a new thread 3 min after you replied on an topic just below yours (opened by me) about same problem.
Try to keep the forum clean pls..

Vibration Has Gone

tonight my vibration has stopped and ive tried afew settings to get it back with no luck, tried afew soft restes with no luck just done a hard reset still not working, is this a common fault has anyone else come accross this?
i've sent my device to service center (valid warranty) and fixed in one day.
anyone else had this problem?
Ummm... you didn't install the "lights off" tweak from Modaco did you?
I had exactly same thing. thought I was going crazy... but it turns out the LED off tweak also disables vibration as a side effect! Strange but true...
nope didnt install that tweak, vibration has started again today didnt touch anything the phones going back for a software update anyway as when i send sms it includes parts of hotmail emails within the sms, very strange...!
T-Mobile said they know this problem and nees a s/w update

No sound after hours in standby mode

My Wizard becomes completely silent after 9 hours in standby mode.
I need to reset it to get back sound.
No rings either when someone is calling me.
Does someone know what is going on here ?
Please advise. Thank you.
Did anyone else notice this too on their Wizard ?
Ok the first thing to do is, think to yourself have i put any software on my PDA since this started happening!
Then if so try taking it off and see if that software effects the PDA
I have the same issue. No idea what causes it. I just reset because I'm too lazy to find the solution.
This is a real pain in the neck.
Yes, this is a real problem.
I noticed that many people have this problem, but not many notice it.
They simple use their phone regulary or shut it off in the night,
and so they will not notice it.
I am still looking into it, but I noticed that it happens sometimes not always.
But its a pain in the neck as it needs to be always on.
I also have my GPRS always on for receiving email,
further I use Wisbar and SPB pocket plus.
So in the evening everything is ok, but in the morning I often do not get
any sound (no sound either from incoming calls) and need to reset.
I noticed that this problem happens when for example email is automatically checked during night. If email comes in (and is not read immediately) the phone will start notifying in background.
Notifications are kept and only a program like "check notifications" will delete them manually. But still if you delete them, the phone then needs a reset
to work properly again.
This is not a memory issue, it has to do with the notifications.
I do not know how to solve it.

I have this problem too. It's been driving me mad for ages and I have reached the point were I'm ready to ditch the phone. It can happen within a few hours of a soft reset, causing me to miss most calls! I hadn't added any new software in the period before the problem started.
Your thoughts that it may be due to receiving email message notifications without clearing them seems feasible. I changed jobs around the time I noticed this problem start. I often get lots of emails while I am unable to respond to the notifications so it seems a likely link. Previously, I always responded to mail promptly and I never noticed a problem.
I'm going to look into this idea by first turning off all notifications for email in the "sounds and notifications" tool in Settings. If this doesn't work, I'll try disabling automatic email checking.
I'll report back with my findings
As promised, an update to my earlier post.
It's been about a week since I tried my "tweak" to try and correct the loss of sound when in standby...
IT WORKED!!
Since I've disabled email notifications my phone has worked continuously without a single problem. I'm still automatically checking for new mail every 10 minutes, I just check the "message" item on the today screen every now and then to see if any mails have arrived rather than have the device notify me. Not ideal but better than not knowing when my phone rings!
If you want to try the workaround, go to settings and open "Sounds and notifications" on the personal tab.
Click on the notifications tab and select "Messaging: New e-mail message" from the drop down "Event" box. Uncheck all of the check boxes so that no notifications occur and you should be alright... unless it happends for some other notifications as well!
Good Luck.

Every call (incomming and outgoing) through speaker automatically

Hi ,
I've searched about every forum I could find, but m problem is:
I have the x1.
Installed the tweak, Spb Mobile shell, Fring, Slide2unlock
I have the newest rom update.
Every time I get a call OR when I make a call my sound automatically goes through the speaker. I don't want that.
I want to decide if and when the call is going through te speaker.
I disabled s2u but it did not help.
Am I missing something?
Please do help.
I did a hard reset today.
then afterwards I found the problem to be solved.
but afterwards some of my previous settings were gone
so I have restored to before.
I still have the same problem for which I now know is clearly a software issue.
Could it be caused by slide2unlock?
please help
i have slide 2 unlock and no issues for me.
so you can probably rule that one out. \i cant help you with anything else tho
Well I'd hard reset and slowly install programs and change settings until you find what is causing the problem.
think that is the only option left.
unfortunately I did that once
the basic setting were completel different than now.
maybe someone has an answer.. otherwise.. dang...
I called the xperia service number today.
It seems there is an update of the ROM availlable.
BUT NOT FOR T-mObile phones...
Anyways.
they also stated one option: hard reset.
damned...
I'll try that and back-it up after every bit of installed software.
Maybe the problem will show up...
hate it when these type of things happen.

X1 does not vibrate anymore, pls help!!

Hi there
can anyone please help. my X1 all of a sudden stopped vibrating. it doesnt vibrate on calls, sms's or even games like it use to. ive tried all settings and also numerous soft reset and removing battery as i thought it might be a power issue. everything else on the phones works 100%. My phone has the standard ROM so nothing has been changed. if anyone can please advise, is this maybe a software or hardware issue?? so annoying. ive searched for a related thread but found none.
thanks.
Have you used hTorch?
yes i have, i have it installed and use it quite often...does that cause any issues? i thought it might also be the value setting on the registry string that controls the vibration strength?
Please use the search

thanks Danne..i did use my H-Torch the other day for a few minutes and that would explain it. damn...but thanks a lot.

Notifications are cut short / completely broken on some apps.

First time poster here, I recently bought a Galaxy S8 after I became tired of my iPhone and boy, do I love this phone. I have never had so much fun with a mobile device.
My phone is only a week old and was working perfectly until a couple of days ago - one evening, I was messaging a friend on Discord when suddenly the notifications started getting cut short and not showing up in the AOD/notification centre. My notification sound would only play for like a split second, the Discord logo would appear in the status bar for a split second, and then the sound would suddenly stop and the notification was not able to be found in my notification centre. Discord had not received an update, and I had not (knowingly) changed any settings, so I had no idea what had caused it.
Now, I get this with Google Allo as well. And Telegram. And my Twitter DM notifications have straight up stopped working, they don't even make a sound or appear for a split second. I have no idea what has caused this, I've tried reinstalling all of these apps, force stopping them, ensuring that they are not put to sleep in the device manager, etc...but nothing seems to be working. It seems to be getting worse and worse, as initially I only encountered this issue with Discord, but now it's with all of these apps - Snapchat, WhatsApp and Messages are now the only apps on which I receive notifications reliably (for now).
I posted a thread on the /r/galaxys8 subreddit discussing this and found that other users shared the same issue, and even found another thread posted by somebody having the same issues with Google Allo, but nobody has a solution. Is there anything that you guys can recommend? I'm willing to try anything, I'm just extremely hesitant to factory reset my phone as I've finally got it set up how I want it and I really don't want to have to start over.
Thanks!
