Redmi Note 4G Bricked - Redmi Note Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Redmi Note 4G is bricked, it was my first time playing around with flashing a custom rom.
I flashed Cyanogen Mod 11 through CWM from CM 12, then I proceeded to install TWRP custom recovery, since Open GApps didn't support the specific recovery.
My phone rebooted and I'm now stuck with a Cyanogen Mod loading screen, and if I turn off the phone, and I try to fastboot it, I'm stuck on a weird screen with a logo on it, and I think it's called PhilZ.
Please help! Thank you.

Did your phone still cam booted into recovery, if can, then flashed a new rom. Your phone was not bricked.

What's the logo... It should have the Redmi's Rabbit repairing android logo...

If fast boot doesn't work, see if you can at least get into recovery. If you can enter recovery, download the zip file from redmi site and flash it via recovery...

[Q] Flashed SuperS4, stuck on Android logo

Well I flashed SuperS4 this morning. Wont ever make it past the flashing android screen right after the Samsung Galaxy S4 screen. So I go into recovery(TWRP) and it wont go past the dang TWRP logo screen.... Not good... Anyone have any advice? Phone is like a week old... TWRP worked perfectly before. I was using BeanStalk rom and decided to try out SuperS4.
I've always used the latest Philz recovery and never had a problem with it

As @churchey360 says - use the latest philz.
Also, you want to reboot recovery after doing wipes and before flashing the ROM.
Your steps should look like this:
1 - do all your wipes
2 - reboot recovery
2.1 - if asked to install Superuser say yes
3 - Flash ROM
3.1 wipe cache and dalvik if you want.
4 - reboot system and let it sit for 10 minutes before you do setup. If you cannot get past the splash screen after 10 minutes you messed up somewhere. Check the md5 hash of the ROM and verify it matches. You may want to boot to recovery from after a battery pull.
Holler back and let us know.
I have never messed with the s4 but,

On devices with unlockable bootloaders (non odin) such as samsung devices, i think you have to flash the boot image file somehow. (no fan of odin)
but if the device contains fastboot, then flash the boot.img in the rom. if odin, download a stock tar and flash it
I faced the same problem... But i solved it by flashing cwm 6.0.4.4 recovery then wipe system, data, cache and delvik cache... Then reboot recovery then wipe again.... Then flash the rom.
It will work with you.
i'm assuming you can get the phone in download mode (hold power + down arrow) and then use odin to flash a new recovery (preferably cwm 6,0.44) then go into recovery and do another wipe/reset/etc and install the rom again.

[Q] Tried to flash Rom, failed and backup got deleted

I rooted and installed twrp on my G2. I was on 4.4.2, and tried to flash a lollipop ROM. I'm guessing i needed to do something special before I flashed the rom. I made a backup, but after it failed, I went to find it and it isn't there. When I boot it just sits in a boot loop at the LG screen. I can get back into twrp and into download mode.
Edit: I tried to flash a kit kat rom over usb otg and that didn't work either.
Im kinda in the same boat... flashed lollipop which went fine but actually prefer kit kat so wanted to go back to stock. booted into twrp, restored a backup but stuck on lg screen.. now cant get back into twrp recovery takes me to factory reset, someone said if press power button 3 times wont factory reset but should take into twrp... it didnt and now its sat on 'factory reset processing' for the passed 20 mins.

this worked for me... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190
I can't use the KDZ method because I have the sprint version. I triend the lg flash tool with the TOT file but it just sits on "READY". When I try to boot now it gets to the lg symbol and the i get these white lines and then the whole screen turns whitish/green.
Edit: Not how this works but this is what I did to get it to work. I flashed the "white lines zip fix" then the "kk radio zip" then my rom then my gapps. Phone works now!

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 FIRST boot screen logo.

Note Stuck in First Boot screen where it says galaxy note 3 sm-n9005
I had aryamod.
Installed xposed(which i shouldnt have).
Rebooted.
It got stuck into samsung logo.
Decided to do a rom install.
After the rom install its stuck in first boot logo. When powered on it gives a vibrate. Remain stuck at that screen. No LED blinking or anything.
Tried to wipe cache factory reset format and even tried to flash again.
::UPDATE::
Flashed SlimKat Custom Rom.
It is working now.
Afraid to Flash Stock Rom over it again, Don't wanna **** up.
Any suggestions?
Via recovery mounts and storage Format system data cache .
Boot to download mode flash stock rom via Odin .
You wanted to flash Xposed on AryaMod.
If you read the thread, many users (including me) have said to flash arter97's version 75 xposed.
Nobody got bootlop with this version

And now best option is to flash Stock via Odin (as mentioned above) and then try others.

Can't Boot to Stock Recovery

I'm on OOS 3.0 and wanting to flash 3.0.1 through stock recovery. I currently have the modified version of TWRP flashed. I'm trying to get stock recovery back but it won't boot into it. It displays the OnePlus logo and hangs there while TWRP runs fine. Can somebody help?
P.S. It's rooted and I haven't tried reflashing the system partition.

If u r rooted then without wiping system partition u can't updated oxygen os 3.0.1 or 3.0.2 with stock recovery too .
So if u want to switch oxygen os 3.0.x go thru twrp and first take backup of ur data partition wipe everything except internal memory and flash new oxygen os then restore ur backedup data .

U should also follow the same.
Yes I solved it. It turned out I was using an older modified recovery for OP2.

If you are on OOS + TWRP and want to get back stock recovery:
1. Go into TWRP recovery
2. Go into mount and opt READ ONLY mount
3. Reboot system
OOS will overwrite the recovery with stock recovery during boot

Same happened with me. Nothing is flashing. Tried almost all ROM and even Backup of stockroom is not booting. Every reboot moves back to TWRP. CM14.1 update messed my device.

Ok This is stupid. Asked for help minute ago and I am now with solution. Here what I did and got my device back. Download CM recovery from CM downloads page. Download recovery of 12 not 13. and now download TWRP recovery latest version. Both can be found on XDA. Flash CM recovery first. Boot your device into recovery by taking off battery and then vol. down + Power. Now CM recovery will bootup. Now power off device and again boot into bootloader. Now flash latest TWRP recovery and do same as with CM. Now it will work flash anything.

Before you do something, make sure you read all of the dev posts in the thread or ask there.
