XT1572 factory recovey image (Firmware) - X Style (Pure) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys, I would like to Unlock my BL and root my device, but I'm afraid that I will be not be able to update to Android 6 by OTA.
So I was looking for some stock firmware or recovery image, in case I need to lock my BL or get back to stock.
I was thinking about Unlock BL, intall TWRP, do a backup, and than root. And case every thing goes wrong, I would need stock recovery so I can lock my BL again.
My device is Brazilan one 2 SIM, and XT1572.
The only site I founded the firmaware is this one http://www.phonandroid.com/forum/fl...-sur-votre-motorola-moto-x-style-t132486.html
and the dowload link is this one: http://www.filefactory.com/file/3jm...LPH23.116-18_cid7_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
What do you guys think, should I take the risk?
Thank you!

i just flashed this on my XT1572 style because wifi was broken, and it fixed it, so this looks good for the EU retail version of the style

Is yours 2 SIMcard? Are you rooted?
Thank you

I have a motorola x style European xt1572 mono sim .
These factory image is good for my style x ?

I'd suggest you keep stock rom + custom kernel (squid/coffee) !
CM13 still have bugs, especially with dual sim models.
Use the forum search for root and twrp installation!

Yes update your phone to MM for the security updates.
I would suggest updating your phone to mm via ota so you'll have the correct radio.
Then unlock your bootloader via moto, flash recovery and download dirty unicorns .

stock rom .zip file for sideload through recovery? XT1625 Prime Edition

there's no a way to install stock rom for Moto G4 16 gb prime Edition through sideload in recovery mode (adb)?
i had installed nougat update from india and now i'm stuck in recovery mode. So.. i can't send my phone right now to US and i trying to find a way to recover my phone from this
I can't do a downgrade to MM because of nougat.
So, give me some ideas
Somebody could make a backup of their nougat's rom and upload it?
I am in the same boat (mostly because I am a moron, and thought I had unlocked my bootloader when I hadn't).
If anyone sees the amazon prime xt1625 nougat floating around you will be my hero.

You need a TWRP backup of the nougat ROM?
Try to find a thread with the stock AMZ firmware, then install that. Updates will have to be re-installed, but it should unbrick your moto

How to revert rooted XT1572 on Nougat to unrooted stock rom

Hi,
I am looking for a way to revert my rooted XT1572 to unrooted state.
I guess I just need to flash a stock rom. But I have the impression there are no stock roms released for the XT1572.
Flashing to stock marshmallow and next upgrading via OTA to nougat might have been a solution. But I read several messages that downgrading to MM and next updating via OTA will brick the phone?
Seems to me that I am stuck with my current rom? Or is possible to flash an XT1575 stock rom on a XT1572? (I don't care about future OTOA's). I am just trying to revert it to a little more 'default status' before selling the device.
Some added info:
Currently my build number says:
NPHS25.200-15-3
Googling this number directed me to following page:
http://guofeng.io/moto-x-style-7-0-xt1572_clark_retla_ds_7-0_nphs25-200-15-3-official-package-root/
There I find following file:
XT1572_CLARK_RETLA_DS_7.0_NPHS25.200-15-3_cid12_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
Would it be reliable to flash this to my device? Or should I also pay attention to other things?

Only for:
Latin America, Dual Sim.
Do you have twrp?
Magisk? SuperSu? Stock Twrp's backup?
You cannot take the Nougat update once you go back to MM. It will hard brick your phone. You kind of have to be on the same security path from what I read. Google has started to not let you downgrade do to security reasons. Sorry I have a MXPure but it almost identical as how to.....except for firmware. To unroot the phone completely you need the stock firmware associated with the phone or a stock unrooted TWRP.img.

Have TWRP, Magisk but stock backup (shame on me).
I wouldn't if the stock rom is from a different region but I guess a stock rom for dual sim will not work on a device with only one sim.
Would it be an option to use someone else TWRP backup?
If you didn't modify system partition - simply unroot with magisk manager app & format data/f.reset with twrp.
Stock recovery - you should ask here(or another thread) - maybe someone will upload it(can done with flashfire app).
I didn't see any backup for xt1572(Nougat). @blondie99
Thanks

Seems like you flashed the wrong firmware maybe? You flashed so much that it's hard to reproduce without the exact file names of the firmware...
