it's time for someone to do rom 5.1.1 D802 go instead, So far still 5.0.2 for D802, while 6.0 was released. It is time to do something and instead?

Dude what are you talking about? I think you confound Stock and AOSP (and AOSPA, etc) ROMs, 'cause there is already Blisspop, RR, crDroid, which are on Android 5.1.1.
Next, Android 6.0 or 5.1.1 (in term of stock ROMS) can't be (for now) ported to the G2 'cause sources have been released yet.

Hi I've got maybe kinda dumb question... How long do you think will it take to build a ROM based on Android 5.0 sources after these sources will be available? (It doesn't have to be for our device just want to now how long it will take when the first mahdi, cm, pa, etc. based on Android 5.0 appears... ) Maybe 3 - 4 weeks? I have already forgotten how long took it last time...
I'm asking because my entirely repaired LG G2 had just arrived before I started writting this and I'm not sure if it's worth to flash custom ROMs based on kitkat...
On my old phone, which stopped getting updates after GB, it took about 2-3 weeks or a month-ish for the next android version to be flashable. So be patient, but I don't think it'll be too long, we have some great devs[emoji106]
Well just flash a kitkat ROM now. Since the official LG sources won't be avaliable before LG pushes the official Android L update to us (if it does), Android L ports (cm, pa, mahdi) will most likely be based on kitkat sources,
March, most likely. As it was with KK.
Edit: Meh, saw you're asking for official push from LG.

You could try more ROMs and decide yourself which is more good for you. All Android L ROMs are almost the same, Android L ROMs are in early stage so there's not many diversity until now and they are all based on CM
Some Android L ROMs which you could try are:
-LiquidSmooth
-Candy5
-crDroid
-Cyanogenmod 12
-RESURRECTIONREMIX
I am wondering what others have to say about STOCK 5.0.2 vs. AOSP 5.1.x, because it pretty much looks like LG is making people play beta testers on an already outdated Lollipop version (considering certain problems people are reporting in the D802 5.0.2 thread).
I currently have 30a on my D802 with the intention to upgrade to 30e, but I'm also eying at AICP 9.x and BlissPop 3.x. Not sure which is the most stable Lollipop for the G2, and I don't have any use for most LG and Google apps anyway.
P.S. So far I really like LP, and I have no intentions to go back to KK.
Have you used 5.1 aosp before? Im noticing worse battery life compared to kitkat, still don't have lg's lollipop update.
Also doubt tap to wake doesn't work on aosp for now at least on ressurection rom it doesn't, no xcam driver for 4k recording and slowmo. Gotta try them both and see if you can live with the pros/cons of each.
Stock is better
And no qslide smartcover qremote quickmemo and other great things that made g2 better than nexus. I'm on android from donut times, and I never thought that I would prefer stock roms....

Unlike other devices,LG 's stock firmware seems to be way better in battery and features, for me in kitkat. And most of the aosp roms seems more or less the same, also the battery is not good compared to stock. Now in stock 30d LP,the device seems to be smooth and fast, but the battery is not as good as it used to be in kitkat.Still ,for me it looks better than aosp roms.
G3 Mm rom started rolling in Poland. Can it be ported to our phones? Do developers need MM kernel, source?
As far as i know it cant be done...just UI and apps and stuff like that
i remember reading someone saying , do g4/g3 have mm? then no, now that they have it that means it can?
same happened when lollipop was out and we were running kk, the thing is that as far as i understand, devs needs G2 source code from lg and then they will mix g2 mm with g3 mm, until the g2 dont get mm(and release that source code), then there wont be a port of the g3-g4-g28 or whatever
We don't actually get firmware ports. We get "OS" ports, or rather newer files mixed with a base firmware from the G2.

-will LG G3 could get an Android N update?
+Hi ------, we don't have an exact schedule for all UK networks just yet. We'll be sure to let you know as soon as we can. Thank you.
Maybe we will have CM 13.1 / 14 ..
Personally I don't think that we'll see a stock Nougat on our devices. LG didn't provide MM for the G2, so I think our G3 won't get any N :/
Maybe with some custom roms but I dont think that we will see stock N for g3.

I don't think we'll get stock N. But most probably there'll be stock and aosp based custom roms.
G3 D855---ROM : Fulmics 6.0---Xposed
hopefully, it has wi-fi calling for TMO!
