It will work on 3g for sure. As for LTE, you need to check what bands are used in Italy and what are supported by North American version.

This is the list for Italian LTE Networks:

Bands 3 and 7 are supported, so you should be fine.

Just an FYI Canada, isn't the USA.
Also, probably, the phone has so many bands, they are as follows for the North American Edition:
Code:
GSM/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900MHz
UMTS/WCDMA: B1/2/4/5/8
CDMA: BC0/1/10
LTE (FDD): B2/3/4/5/7/12/13/17/25/26/29/30
LTE (TDD): B41
CA DL: B2-B2, B2-B4, B2-B5, B2-B12, B2-B13, B2-B17, B2-B29, B4-B4, B4-B5, B4-B13, B4-B17, B4-B29, B41-B41

Correct me if I wrong but there has never ever been Canadian version of Nexus. There are only 2 models, international and the US.
If he buys international it will have European bands by definition. So hence I'm confirming the US model bands.

[Q] WherWhere to buy unlocked google nexus one from Canada ?

Hi all Where can I buy an unlocked google nexus one phone from Canada ?
thanks
http://store.mobilicity.ca/product.asp?pf_id=37102M
Moblicity sells them. It won't work 3G on Bell/Telus/Rogers/Fido/Virgin. But it'll work on Wind and Moblicity. Honestly, try Craigslist or Kijiji
Thanks for the response
i found it also at NCIX.
but what if I tried to use it outside Canada, will it work with any carrier ?
thanks
An unlocked Nexus One will work outside of Canada, but only on AWS (band IV) carriers. There are some in europe, and the US, but IIRC there are no AWS carriers in asia.
I searched for Nexus One for Sale tonight, it looks like Google may be dumping their stock of the Nexus One, they are available on multiple sites http://www.google.com/products/cata...&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CB8Q8wIwAA#scoring=p
Read the FAQ, Q13.

The AWS Nexus One has three bands: 900/AWS/2100.
The only countries in the world that use AWS so far are US and Canada.
In Europe and Asia the predominant 3G band is 2100 and the next most common is 900. So you're covered for quite a lot of the world. For Central and South America, not so much, because most of those countries use 850/1900 3G and have no AWS.
In which countries are you hoping to use the phone, and on which carriers?

What do you mean with "will work".
Depending on the Korean variant and the europe country you are asking for the LTE may not work. 3GM works for most countries. I'm not sure if all countries. 2G works in all countries.

You need to know what LTE bands your country providers are using. And choose the corrent korean model for you.If you know the LTE frequencies (bands) then we will be able to help more.

Galaxy S6 Edge LTE Bands in Taiwan

I was over at Taiwan Mobile and the employee at Taiwan Mobile showed me their LTE Bands for the new S6Edge and for the new HTC ONE M9. The coverage on the HTC ONE M9 is pretty shabby compared to the LTE BANDS offered on the new Galaxy S6. I was impressed with the number of bands that they offered.
LTE FDD Bands covered are 01,02,03,04,05,07,08,12,17,18,19,20,25,26,28
LTE TDD Bands covered are 38,39,40,41
Pretty much if you travel between America and Asia you are well covered with 4G LTE speeds

Yes. China, Hong Kong and Taiwan all using G9250. Same model. It actually supports CDMA 800Mhz too. So it works with China Telecom in China.

Thanks for the information! I travel to Japan and America a lot. I agree with you soft bank is the most strictist phone company when it comes to using unlocked phones. There is a way though I'm actually using softbank sim card now with an unlocked phone I bought in USA!
Thanks again.
is anyone able to confirm if the Sprint Galaxy S6 Edge will work in Taiwan under their bands? 4G LTE?

Are there different versions of Nexus 6P for Europe and US ?

I was planing to ask my friend to get me a Nexus 6p from US and bring it over to Europe and I was wondering if there are different versions of Nexus 6P for US and Europe (with different sets of LTE bands ) ? Will I have a problem of using it with European GSM bands (specifically the LTE/4G) ?
Thanks

LTE/4G will be a problem
Agreed, the US version has less bands than the international version. It does not have band 8, which is what most of the UK's 4g network runs on. There are a few exceptions, but most of them work of band 8.

This, it's also missing band 20, which is used for 4G networks in the Netherlands and most of mainland Europe as far as I know. Basically a US Nexus 6P won't work on 4G/LTE in Europe.

Ahh, ok then :/ That was my shot to get this phone cheaper, it's ridiculous how expensive it is here compared to US .
Thanks for the response.
I know that here in Ireland Vodafone (my carrier) use both band 20 and band 3, with band 3 usage being more recent. I am doing my research at the moment but am hoping that if I get a US Nexus 6P I will be able to use it here with Vodafone LTE on band 3.
Crossing fingers,
M
Where can I find more info on these various nexus 6p variants?

US Version and International have the same amount of bands just different ones. No one in Europe runs on band 8. UK runs mostly on 3/7/20. So most likely you will get LTE coverage from your carrier unless you're with O2 or Vodaphone since they only support band 20.
US: 2/3/4/5/7/12/13/17/25/26/29/30
International: 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/9/17/19/20/28
Use an app like LTE Discovery to see what band you're using in your most frequented places.

For future reference, you can find the answer to this question on the helpful website called willmyphonework.net. According to the website, the global model (A2) will work for 2G and 3G on Reliance but not for 4G LTE, as it says the carrier doesn't support it. Check the attachment.

Please see below, there are two versions nexus 6p, North American version (only sold in US and Canada), and global/international version(sold in reset of world). So you are only able to buy global/international version within India and this version supports for all carriers in the world (according to Huawei senior management of mobile phone line) of course including CDMA bands. In addition, how could it be possible that device sold in India not supports for Indian carriers?
