The MXP charge the Battery very low without QC2.0 Loader? - X Play Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is it possible that the MXP charge very low (1Amp.) without a QC2.0 Loader?
I have test a Samsung 2A Loader and a Amazon 2,1A Laoder with original Motorola Cable but is charge around 3h till its full charged?! That is very 2010 like :/ I dont have a QC2.0 Charger in my Car, by my Friends, at work.......
Min 1,5A, that would be good.
Here is a Video that show it>>>

Facing the same issue here... More and more thinking to buy another Quick Charge plug

If I understand your question correctly, then yes you need a quick charge 2.0 charger to get a fast charge into the Play. Any other type of charger (regardless of rate) will just be a regular charger with the X Play.

Regular Charger ok.....but its charge only with 1A and this is very slow. A LG G2, Samsung Note 2 or a Huawei P8 charge with a regular Charger with 1,5A or 2A but not with 1A how the MXP. That is like a 2010 Phone :/ So, when I at work I have no QC2.0 Loader, or by friends.... an then the MXP charge from 10-100% in very long 3 Hours!!!!! Its really bad and hope Motorola fix this. (Huawei (P8) fix it by the first Update from 1A to 1,5A) Ps I have the European Version of the MXP!

Or .. Just buy a $20 quick charger ...

Read my Text!!!!!!!!!!!! Then I have to buy more than one! Easyier ist to use the Standard Charger by my Friends ..... and Motorola fix this and make that the MXP charge with minimum 1.5A. (better 2A)
But if you sit on Couch 24hours a Day, thats a good Idea !!!

Or .. Just buy two. Honestly, once you get a quick charger, you aren't going to be happy with generic 1.5a charging. I read your text perfectly fine. I bought two chargers. One for home, one to go. $40 for quality chargers isn't bad. It's not like it's one time use.

[Q] What charger specification is best for Lg G2?

hello;
i have just bought LG G2 (F320L), i have noticed that if i charge the phone with a charger having 1amp output specification it charges rapidly.
So the question is that what charger output specifuication is best for Lg G2 which may charge the phone rapidly but does not damage the battery.
U can use a 16a charger if u want. The charging circuits in the phone handles the input so max the phone will use is 1.6a. It's li-po cells the phone has som advance circuits handling the balance charging of the cells. Recommended is 2a charger but don't forget the cable.
If u use a chappy cheap cable it won't go above 0,3a use a premium and u whill have a 1.6a charge. 1a is to little and to slow.
The phone handles the power to optimize the charging so don't be afraid to use a powerful charger just make sure it's 5v and above 1.6a. If u bye a 1.6 the charger itself will be on max load and generate a lot of heat with could damage the charger and the phone so go with 2a and a premium cable
I'm pretty sure the post above's first reference was meant to say 1.6A and not 16a (the second reference was corrected). 16A wouldn't necessarily hurt the phone actually since current aka amperage is pulled and not pushed - the device would still only take what it needs as long as the 5VDC is solid.
Anyway, enough rudimentary electronics and electrical theory...
Any modern USB wall charger will work with the G2 without issues, obviously if you can get and use one that provides a higher level of amperage/current it will charge the G2 faster up to about 1.6A as mentioned above. The factory charger included with G2 smartphones is designed to provide 1.8A but the G2 won't necessarily pull that much - the .2A is a little headroom and the charger doesn't "stress" as much to provide the 1.6A.
Lower amperage/current chargers just mean it takes longer to charge the G2, basically. As it has a 3,000 mAh (that's 3A for the record) that basically means with a 1.6A charger attached and the device powered off and charging exclusively you'll get a full charge in just under 2 hours from a near-empty state - if there's a charge on it already then it'll charge at roughly 1% every 2-3 minutes, maybe a touch more if the G2 is powered on and charging.
Either way, again, any modern charger will be fine. Try to get at least a 1A model from whoever, and avoid really cheap ones that can't do 1A minimum. If it's a brand name charger (Apple, Samsung, LG, Motorola, BlackBerry, etc) you'll be fine.

thank u for making it clear,
is there any way to measure output of any charger?
i know its not related here but just for fun.
currently i am charging my G2 with 1A charger but it takes so long to reach 100% charge, may be about more than 4 hours.
Actually I meant 16a.... Just get a 2a charger and not a cheap one.. Expect to pay 20$

Once I ordered a 2a charger from China.. Output was 200mah and it almost melted. 2$
U can measure how mouth the charger provide.
Easy way is to use a app in you phone. But not 100% accurate.
Hard and accurate way is to use a USB extender cable that u cut the + cable and use a ampere meter. But u have to use a high end cable for that and u don't want to cut a perfect god cable in half
So I recommend this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.manor.currentwidget

[Q] Charging

Hey all, haven't been able to find an answer for this. So I'll open a new thread. Now the question. The phone seems to take a long time to charge. Is it possible for me to use my Note 4's quick charger or can anyone recomend a faster charger for this phone? Charging it with Note 4's 2a charger wont damage the battery? Thank you.
I use a 2.1 out and it charges in about an hour and a half
Charging isn't fast and it seems that if the phone gets warm, it draws less power then too - so on a warm day, it can feel like it's taking years.
Would have been nice to have had wireless charging support and/or turbo charging, but alas not.

Doesn't the phone support quick charging? But Huawei haven't bundled the appropriate charger?
Doesn't appear to. I've got a Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 adapter and it doesn't seem any faster, nor say fast charging.
There's a quirk, when the battery shows 100% it actually still keep charging for another 30 minutes. All tests showed that it took 3hours+ to fully charge it. So quick charge my ass.
So just to update, I have tried charging it with note 4's fast charger and it charges the phone from 20 to 100% in about an hour and a half. Which imo isn't that bad. With the included charger, it took me around 2 and a half hours... Huawei really should have included a charger with higher amp, 1 is way to low.

It's sadly very common for phones to ship with poor chargers (1A and even lower), but then again - some phones these days come with NO charging adapter, assuming you'll have a ton of them anyway.
I use a 2.1A 5V charger, but I've tried the faster ones (that can output 9V) and it doesn't speed things up, so while it can charge faster with a better PSU, it won't ever charge as quick as many other flagships. Mind you, has the G4 been given full support yet? Likewise, the Z3 is down as supporting Quick Charge 2.0 on Qualcomm's website, but then turns out to be only some variants. Makes me wonder if the Z3+ supports it in every guise.
Not sure what the reasoning is for devices that could support faster charging not actually allowing it, especially if the manufacturer could profit from selling faster chargers separately.

I read an article about Huawei declining fast-charge for "battery-purposes" so it can have a longer life cycle. But i think Huawei made an exception about the Huawei Honor 7.
I had an Samsung before and never had problems with fast-charging whatsoever.
My P8 was full in about 2 hours with an 2.1 A charger, while my Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 took 1,5 hours.
the screenshoot took from Huawei P8 & P8 Max Launching Event 2015 said that p8 has quick charge at min 21.30 but they didnt talk about that in the event

Here's a quick charger for the Huawei P8 : http://www.amazon.com/Adaptive-Charger-Charging-voltages-charging/dp/9713256832
I did not buy it, but it says it charges at 9V 2.1A

I think this adaptor isn't safe to p8max.. I will try another charger but only 5v with higher amp that will be safe for sure
Now i charge with stock from 3%to100% in about 2.5 h and the phone didn't tell me to remove charger for more half ahour!!

What is the Battery Charging time with included Fast Charger for Z3+?

Hi, I bought Z3+ two days ago. Fast Charger is taking around 2 hours 15 mins to full charge the phone in switch on mode. Is it the actual time to charge it with Fast Charger?
If I connected it to PC USB Cable, the charging time is very slow. Is there is any tips improve it?
Thanks in advance
What fast charger are you using? 2:15 sounds reasonable to me though I never really stopped time on a quick charge 2.0. PC usb Ports output 500 mA, which is far less than even the stock sony charger outputs, so no there is no way to speed that up.

I use quick charger to charge my Z3+ almost every day.. The charging rate is around up 1% per minute.. Usually I turn off the phone while doing so because using quick charger makes the phone quiet hot compared to when using normal charger, and that makes the charging rate just a bit more faster..

Sorry, If "Fast Charger" is diff from "Quick Charger". I have received Quick Charger bundled with Z3+ which is taking more than 2 hours for full charge the phone.
Is it saying "quick charge 2.0" somewhere on the charger? It's a brand by Qualcomm and is faster than just a charger with high Ampere.
The point is that the charge which bundled with Z3+ just a normal charger!! ( well if you think it is)
All you need is a charger with qc2.0
Yep, although QC will wear out your battery faster.

I don't see the QC logo and quick charge 2.0 on your pic. And fast charge is not quick charge. My fast charge completed in about 2.5 hours. My quick charger does it in just over an hour. So I also got a quick charge battery booster as well. Both are by anker and I got on Amazon. Well worth it.

I think the charger is really a quick charger since it have multiple output settings.. But I have read on one of the threads here that QC2.0 does not much boost the charging time of Z3+.. Specially the dual sim variant.. Remember that sony only said that the single variant is the only one that is QC2.0 compatible..
I have encountered a problem with the charging speed of my Xperia Z3+. I have got the single SIM variant and according to the internet it should support QC 2.0. But in reality when I want to charge my device it doesn't feel like QC 2.0. For comparison I have downloaded an app called Ampere on my Z3+ and my Z3 Tablet Compact (its chipset also supports QC2.0 and it seems to work flawlessly) and it displays the current charging flow speed if I'm not wrong. I will attach two screenshots, the higher number of flow is from the tablet and the other of course from my Z3+. Anybody know what might be the problem? I have used the same charger with the same cable.

Will my axon 7 charger correctly Whit an aukey 3.0 quick charger 18 w ... Some how my kiddos lost my charger and now and can quick charge the phone so I order 1 from amazon
I have such an aukey QC3 car charger and it works and is very fast.
QC Quick Charge 3 may not be the fastest method but at least it's a standard that aftermarket manufacturers can make products for. This is good for long term ownership. I mostly don't fast charge my A7 anyway. I just use a generic 2.4 amp charger and let it charge overnight. Hoping the battery lasts longer.
I use a Dodocool Quick Charge 3.0 charger and it works perfectly with the Axon 7. I'm sure the Aukey one would be the same.
Thanks for the help I was going nutz since I lost the original charger

Using Samsung 5V-2A FAST CHARGER WITH G6...?

Using s8 fast charger it is rated as 5v , 2a im worried as is dont have lg original charger which supports 1.8a(fastcharge). My phone also got hot on samsung adapter . Should i buy original or its nothing to worry about. Kindly need advice.
AFAIK, there will be no difference. The chip controls how much energy is delivered to the battery, and even if you use a 3a charger, the phone itself will limit the maximum energy delivered so it doesn't affect battery.
It's normal that the battery gets hot on fast charge (even in normal charge) Just try to avoid using the phone or charging in a hot environment so the battery doesn't go further than ~40°C more or less.

The original one is 9V 1.8A so there won't be any problems with the Samsung one.
