I switch on speaker mode during phone call, after 1-2min it switch itself back to Mic mode.
There is more!
Connect to Bluetooth headphone during phone call, same thing happened..
The speaker bug also happens on 2.3.5, Bluetooth bug haven't tried yet, but happened in the previous builds.

Thanks!

Stock rom or custom? I don't have any problems with the bug you mentioned

On my wife's G2 you cannot use the speakerphone function while on a call. This didn’t occur until the update. Anyone else experiencing this?
Bump...
Factory reset..

Hi to all community, since I upgraded to KitKat I get a strange "buzzz" sound while playing music, this occurs me on ANY KK ROM (now I'm using CM w/HellsDoctor) I noticed that this happens with more frequency when the network (WiFi, 3G, Antenna) is busy.
I want to know if I'm the only one with this issue, or if any one knows a fix for this..
Thank you very much ^^

Is it constantly? Because people have reported a distortion like buzzing in music since kitkat. It's like a split of a second the music will sound really cranky and be normal again.
I have this issue only when using Poweramp with headphones, though. All other players and outputs work fine.

me too...
I've had this happens on KitKat when I'm making a call.....
My call volume is set to the highest level and when I am in a call it's just barely loud enough.
An I alone here? On Verizon.

I've found you have to have your ear flush with the phone. I'm used to angling my ear when talking. It makes a big difference on volume.

It does make a big difference, but the volume is still the lowest I've ever had on a phone.

You need to exchange. mine working great better than my previous phone z3
I agree, you should contact Motorola.
Had this issue with my Nexus 6 sometimes. Always left that one at max call volume. I had to actually turn the volume down 1-2 notches during calls on the MXP. I would also say to contact Motorola.
I'll give Motorola a call.
The volume isn't super quiet, its fine if I'm in a quiet room, but if I'm at a bar or restaurant its going to be really tough to hear anything.
I use an app call HeyTell for 20 second voice messages and that plays loudly in the earpiece so I know it isn't hardware related.

I don't think I do because I'm not sure what it is. How do I activate it?

log into my verizon go to features and activate advanced calling aka hd voice then in cellular settings you will have enhanced 4g lte option. Select that.
Remember in order to speak with someone over HD voice on Verizon someone else also has to have active hd voice: galaxy s5,s6,iphone 6 etc.... all those newer phones.
I love HD voice it's super clear.

Were you able to resolve this issue?
I just received my MXPE and absolutely love it, except for the low call volume on the handset earpiece. The low volume is accompanied by some constant low level hiss. Call volume is normal and hiss is gone using any other mode (speaker phone, bluetooth, wired headset). I hate to go through an exchange since I've already got my screen protector installed and that will probably be a loss if I have to get a new phone. But if that is what it takes...
Anyway, would be interested to know what resolution you came to.
I called Motorola, actually tried a factory reset. Determined the phone needed to be replaced. Replacement should arrive today, but through Amazon since Motorola wanted another $25 to ship the replacement before I return the defective unit. A short chat with Amazon and the replacement was expedited to me overnight. Amazon for the win?

Replacement did not fix the problem. It's looking like a Marshmallow issue. Details at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3277589.

I have issue here with my N9005. The issue is when I use speaker for voice call the other person who I call can't hear me but if I do video call he can hear me normally. The big issue is this happened only when I use touchwiz roms whatever is official or developed one all of them make the same issue, but when I use L14.1 or AOSP it is work normal in video and speaker voice call.
Any idea ?
I used lastest bootloader and modem but still the same issue.
Thanks

Maybe you should reinstall the ROM.

I did it many of times and I tried all the popular Roms, all the same

Then maybe it's a problem with the speaker.

I thought same but when I used it with LOS14.1 it was very normal. I'm pretty sure it is fine, because if it has problem it won't work in LOS 14.1 either.
