I am misisng the "do not disturb" toggle in the notification area when I swipe down. Even If I try customizing the toggles, the "do not disturb" is missing.
Anyone? I can't find a way to activate/deactivate "Do not disturb" easily as now I have to go thru settings.
Thanks
What ROM are you running?
I have just tried this on mine and it is showing in the toggles menu

Same version (though a custom kernel and a UK carrier though that wouldn't change things).
When you pull down the notifications bar up top and click edit what is shown there? screenshot if possible
It is not there
I tried also with fix from Samsung or the app here on xda, with no avail
I had no other toggles missing, only do not disturb
this is driving me nuts... I just saw a video on youtube where the toggle is there...
I have this toggle from first day
Which rom?

Hi All,
I already tried to search, seems most ppl just want to remove the clock.
But what I want is to have the system show the clock even when I running other applications (currently it will be hided except in TF3D).
Any idea?
Thanks.
I don't have one at all, funny I didn't even miss it.
Isn't that a standard option? Just click on the clock on the home screen and goto the 'More' tab. If not I have a couple of tweaks installed but the first 1 to look at is HD tweak..

You're right it is there, but it doesn't show up for Manilla, so I would not see it much in any case. Have a look at the clock tweaks here http://wiki.modaco.com/index.php/Windows_Mobile_5_Registry_Tweaks
In Advancedconfig and HDtweak there's an option to show clock in task bar all the time but it removes battery. Give it a try.
Thanks........tweak too much, and sometimes I should go back to basic first!!

FYI. If using Sense 2.5. You need to go to settings, all settings, clocks and alarms, more, then hit show clock. If you do it from the home screen there is not a "more" tab. Very frustrating.

Hi,
I'm currently using Switchpro to toggle my controls and I absolutely love it but is there an app out there which does the same but puts the controls in the notification bar?
Something similar like they've done on the samsung galaxy s but with more options:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Thx
I'm not sure about an App to add this functionality?
But if you can get used to the Miui interface, it has that functionality built in.
I'm using the J-Style MIUI ROM and it's great.
from the notification bar i can change:
APN -ON/OFF
WiFi -ON/OFF
Rotation -ON/OFF
Backlight -OFF/LOW/HIGH/AUTO
Normal/Silent ring
Vibration -ON/OFF
Bluetooth -ON/OFF
GPS -ON/OFF
I don't know if you can use part of the MIUI ROM to get this to work on Sense/Non-Sense
completely overlooked this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=838013
I've posted my question there
MIUI looks great but I'm not looking to change ROM's right now (might give MIUI a try in the future though!)
cheers
B
PS there is an app called "Quick Settings" which you can launch from notification bar, but it's an app so you don't see the controls immediatly when pulling down the notification bar

Indeed you'd have to talk to the Tapatalk folks about that. It's just the Settings menu icon. Which is Google SOP after they depreciated the back button i.e. they also ask developers to include any overflow menus in app.
I don't see the problem. But then the menu screen shots you posted weren't in English either. Is there more that you're not telling us or just a pet peeve?

Hello, why when I start bluetooth in my Galaxy S8, it always start in discovery mode?
I really like to start bluetooth and only connect to paired device, and not else!
Also I like to don't have a notify like this to tap for stop the discovery mode, I think it's very annoying and needless!
Is there a solution or a mod, to solve this issue?
Complained that to Samsung last year and got the following response:
"This message is a built in systems notification that cannot be turned off."
And yes, my sentiments are exactly the same - completely useless and annoying.

Are compatible with Oreo? I just receive the update.
Hi,
I updated my s7edge to Oreo last week, and i totally hate the new "vertical" digital clock when i close my S View cover, it used to be like this :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
now its like the s8 and i don't understand why would anyone like that ...
does anyone have a solution for this please ?
I think you can find it with an activity manager in settings.
I tried to bring back night clock and i think i saw someting with "s view" in it.

I can't find any of that :/ you sure you're talking about an s7edge with the latest android update ?
Yea, Oreo.
1 get quickshortcutmaker from ggl play
2 serch "view"
3 you should see "wallpapers' , click on it and there should drop down another "wallpapers" and click on it then press try it, from there it will send you to the gallery app.
Now I realise you want to change the clock and S view ist that ugly flip cover.....
Sorry man.
