Hi, here on this side ( http://www.easy-firmware.com/index.php?a=browse&b=category&id=5 )you will find many roms for HTC devices, also our Desire 820. The Passwort for the extracting is: easy-firmware.com
I downloaded two ROMs from this site, and both have an error in the compressed file.
What is going on?

J4 should be the newer version since mine came with ANIE and provides an update (not updated yet).
Hi, I am sure that I am like many other users that have attempted to install Android 6 firmware via RUU and either reached an error or found the system too bugger.
Is there a ROM that contains a boot image and system that can be flashed straight to the users phone through TWRP to simplify and standardise this process for users?
No

Hello all,
I am thinking of buying a Yotaphone 2 from Aliexpress (YD206). The seller offers to upgrade it to YD201 as seen on picture attached (see left phone screenshot).
It comes with a CN baseband and a RU Build number.
Would I be able to flash a different firmware offered by yota flasher (for example 5.0.0-EU1.1.87a.zip)?
Not sure if I will ge tinto troubles having a Baseband version of:
S01_003_3034_CN1_M05
Thanks
Yes you can and if you want you be able to flash 6.0.1 also.
I know cuz i done it and its working smoothly
Is that firmware offered thru yotaflasher or do I have to download it from somewhere else?
My question now would be... Can we flash Yotaphone 2 using yotaflasher and replacing RADIO folders from other firmwares offered and downloaded thru yotaflasher?
Say download EUx.x.x firmware and replace RADIO folder with RADIO folder from CNx.x.x firmware.
What would be the end result of doing this? Different LTE bands supported?
Thanks for your support

Yes i used yotaflasher first
Replacing RADIO is your choise. Better is first flash EU firmware using yotaflasher then directly install 6.0.1 using stock recovery
Hallo all!
I have a Samsung S8 that the hardware is SM-G950W (Canadian) and I flashed it to SM-950U (USA) and I eventually want to downgrade it to Android 7 from Android 9 with U8 bootloader.
Problem is I have found a combination file that has the U8 bootloader and Android 7 and the factory Android 7 ROM (Original) but the factory ROM only gets to U5 bootloader if I remember correctly, or perhaps U2 it was.
My idea is to take the bootloader files out of the Android 7 U8 combination files and make them work in place of the Android 7 factory ROM bootloader files. So I wondered what files in a ROM or combination file would I need to swap out? Will this work on a Galaxy S8 with a never unlocked bootloader?
Is this a good idea to try? I also thought to take Android 9 bootloader files and decompress their .lz4 extensions and swap them but I kind of dont think that thats a smart idea as differing Android versions are more likely to differ in unforseen ways. Android 7 doesnt use .lz4 compressed files where Android 9 does.
Any help? This is the only way I can foresee myself using my hardware my way. Thanks.
Recently got a new US Model Xperia 5 III, and updated it to A12 without realizing how many issues came with it. I tried to find an Android 11 Firmware to flash to it, but Xperifirm only gives A12, and online I could only find updates for the Europe and International models. Is there anywhere that archives the files of older firmwares to download, or will the regional roms work on a US model?
