Okay let me start by saying :
This is an open appeal / request, not a demand in any way at all!
Im a developer too, so i know the hardwork required... but unfortunately i dont do android/java programming, so i am putting this up here.
Are there any devs here who have or would like to work on developing modules on xposed for OnePlus2 ? There are a lot of modules for Samsung and HTC phones, similarly we can and need a few too. for example fingerprint app lock for op2. There is one for Samsung, ive tried to force it to work on OP2, but it doesn't. Or something to remap the alert slider? or something else that you people may think useful!
So if there is anyone, please comment and do so and help our device become more awesome!
Also, people like me who are ready to be testers, please do comment below. It will ensure the devs that they have support and can proceed without worrying about it! :highfive:

Hi Guys,
I just wanted to let you know I've started playing around with HaRET on my new shadow. So far HaRET is able to start, correctly identify the hardware, and I'm able to connect on port 9999 to do some diagnostics on the device.
Next step will be to cross compile a kernel using some of the instructions for similar HTC devices and see if I can get a linux kernel to start booting.
There's going to be some work necessary to make this thing useful under linux. Someone will need to figure out a way to map the keyboard to do t9 like input. We'll have to see if the gsm hardware and wifi hardware are the same as some of the other models too.
I don't have a ton of time to do this, so progress will probably be very slow, but I just thought I would throw this out there in case anyone else is interested in looking at it.
I'd donate if -myHTC- and ND4SPD join together and create something out of this.
If we can all figure out a way to help each other out on here, the final product can be amazing.
im ready to donate as well.
im not very savy when it comes to roms and development but i can help with what i can!
Sure, I'd love to work on this. But I don't know anything really about linux/android...I can port stuff, so I might be a little usesful, especially since the HTC G1 has been released.
Hello all =)
- i was thinking yeh i did ))
why don't we open a threat where every body that knows some thing about the " SELF DESIGN " of the device, will share his knowledge about it ...
like what soft have to be used ...
what files should be changed ...
what script should we know ...
well all the "what" and "how" Q. about self Design you can ask here =)
all that know and understand some thing about it, hopefully will help us
please be kind and share with us this powerful knowledge
well my question\s is\are:
1) how do i change my icon set on the panel \ on the start manu
( how it works .. what should i know about changing it )
2) what script is used to design\make some thing...
( how can i understand it ).

| thanks a lot ahead for those who will help =) |

I think this is generally a good idea, but I think there is so much material out there already, some people won't like it and instead they will shout "SEARCH!".
Having said that, I would like to be able to design my own skins (like Laskartheme's), but haven't got the faintest idea of where to start.
I don't know the answer to question 2, but for question 1 see: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=589459&highlight=compact+framework. You need to install Compact Framework 3.5 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...49-3C6B-42F1-9FD9-0041345B3385&displaylang=en).
If you have any issues, this thread helped me quite a lot: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=597806&highlight=icon.
HTH!
SEARCH!
Joking, but the point is that this forum is literally made of that, wilth thousand of such threads. Having everybody give their own, different opinion, you'd just end with a huuuuge thread where no 2 answers are the same and nothing can be found, and essentially only repeats what's already there. Everybody likes his device his own way, so what they have to do is browse the tons of mods themselves and decide which ones they want to use.
Then if you have specific questions, ask them.
For what you're asking about have a look in the themes&apps subforums, some icon packs, taskbars etc are there, also look for HDWall (in my signature) that lets you make a custom tab bar.
Have any of the developers ever come out with or began work on a completely custom build? it seems like all the builds are basically ports with tweaks here and there. I dont have the programing knowlege or know how but i think it it would be cool to have the menu load from the side or drop down from the top. things like that would be cool, and i would be willing to use my artistry skills to help develop icons, menus, etc. I'm not saying i dont appreciate all the work any of the developer have done on the current builds available, I am just wondering.
I think that's because they have enough to do to get Android running on a HD2? They don't want to spend their time for such things. At the moment their working on the NAND anyway.
But if you really want to have a real custom build you should have a look in the developement forum and search for coffee shop or something like that. It's a tool to do some work on the UI and enables you to do such things as you asked for I think.
I was hoping to find someone on the dev forum that has the ability to add the BMAP (bluetooth message access profile) to one of the ROMs. Im surprised that someone hasn't done, or even attempted/posted about this thus far, considering the DroidX has the profile added, i would assume that it is possible to integrate it into Android. If anyone has any ideas on how this can be done, please let me know.
I did find this blog post about the theory behind adding the functionality to Android, maybe this will help one of our awesome Dev's along.

hello people of XDA, like reading then you may realize that I am totally newbie at this I am ready to learn and research more about what modifications and improvements I can do to my phone (GS4 - GT-i9500).
well let me know if there are any programs you see everything that is installed on the device, so I can show you and to ask that I should uninstall so you can optimize to the maximum that you can get.
I want to remove the programs and games are coming from the seller (CLARO-PERU) do not use them and every time I see the processes, are active consuming RAM.
well also let me know about a problem that pops up every time I restart my phone, a message saying "unfortunately, TouchWiz home has stopped" it appeared to me days after an OS update, I found a tutorial that told me that things change but I could solve anything because the phone is not unlocked because on the Internet there are a lot of tutorials and none of them resolved my doubts.
and in the future I would like to modify and design if possible the telephone interface as there are things I would like to change as a graphic designer I am.
and in the future I would like to modify and design if possible the telephone interface as there are things I would like to change as a graphic designer I am. and share with you the changes I want to do.
well my first problem I would like to resolve would be how to unlock my phone to desintlar things that come from the vendor and then if someone can recommend how you can alter the colors of the notification LED.
I hope what I wrote to be understandable and would be grateful any information and help you can give me, I hope my grammar is not as ugly as I think.
THX for all

You might get a better response if you post in the right forum. This is the forum for the Galaxy S4 Active (i537, i9525), the forum you are looking for is for the Galaxy S4 (i9500, i9505, i9505G). Try searching and posting in that forum and you might have better luck.
