Orders from eXpansys

My order (Black) on eXpansys shows "In stock in 8 days", so the date should be before the 29th, that was now said to be the "official" one...
What about your ones?
Do you think that will be really getting it before everyone else, since they are the official HTC distributors?

Blame the manufacturer, not the one who sold it to you.

Bought my galaxy note from them, the note died 5 months after purchase (still within 12 month warranty) and they literally refused to honour the warranty. And now it just sits there.
Samsung also refuse to help me because it was purchased from an international store.
So now I'm stuck with a phone that doesn't work and I cannot get fixed even when I offered to pay both Samsung and eXpansys.
If I was to purchase internationally again, I'd go clove or handtec like I've done in the past.

Why? I've been using them for years. Only ever had one problem where they sent me a used phone, which they rectified to my satisfaction.

Bought my Note 2 and HTC One X from them.. no problems at all.. i can say their customer service is trash tho..
Its like they only have 8 people working there.. 1 manage shipping, the rest just answer calls
but this was eXpansys USA.. so idk if its the same in your country

UPDATE: eXpansys just communicated that, even for them, launch date will be on 29th, as for everybody else.

Can't wait
Yesterday it said 7 days.

EDIT: I just read they will launch it on the 29th, like everyone. It still suck though but maybe it's better because I have exams till the 29th.

Yes I think so, but it sucks since I'm counting down since the first rumours got out.
I love HTC and it's not a good thing for the company to postpone the release.

Haven't seen anything like that before. They mail me saying that the One is in stock and after 2 days they say they gona deliver by end of March. Why telling me that it's in stock in the first place then?

1. you can hardly get any relevant data because honestly how many owners do
you expect to be willing to participate? 0,1% of xda´ers who are still just a tiny
fraction of all users?
2. people are concerned about their privacy nowadays (little bit too much I´d say)

i would love to help,but this cant determine all users in the world,since not half of them know xda at all.

And both 8 gb and 16 gb are currently out of stock so you can infer that most if not all of those are already sold out!

Are you sure the whole lot is imported by flipkart only on it will obviously be sold by other vendors from a day or two

Pretty sure....right now its exclusive to flipkart and we don't know how long exclusive period is.
Plus no vendor will import more than few hundrer peices now since everyone who was intrested in G already got or booked a G from flip...Other vendors know that!

Also Motorola or flipkart never said about the time of exclusive period...everyone guessed two weeks coz snapdeal said the devices would be available in 3rd week of feb

About the time period. Its official. Lookup for news articles for the same.
Second it doesn't show if it was one entity who imported them all. It might just be a bundle coming over together.
And third week of Feb yes. That adds more to the two week period.

What I think is that the main reason behind maintaining the low price of the phone is that Motorola wanted to eliminate the long Dealer chaining system ...
They wanted to reach customer directly, thus reducing the dealer to dealer cost increment .
That also explains the fact that Moto G has "Imported by Flipcart" printed in the product tag on Box.
According to me in UK there's only one vendor i.e. PHONE4U.uk who is authorized to import and sell devices .
Same is the case in India, the moment it will be made available to other stores the price will rise up (for eg. in Brazil there are many vendors and the price is considerably high).
However I don't know how SnalDeal got hold of Moto G ... Also I'm not aware if the news are genuine or not since no body has reported to buy and receive their devices through Snaldeal.
I had also mailed Motorola querying about the same and their reply was
"At this time, Moto G is only available through FlipKart. Stay tuned for any updates" .

It's been there for about a week now.

Its been up since the start of November. Nothing new.

Last time I checked they had the coming soon/ registration page for nexus 6.
Maybe I missed it

No white had been confirmed way before this.

It's never shown both colors on the T-Mobile site. I've seen that page when it first showed up and it's never had a white option to select.
Even @askdes confirmed no white way back when the phone was first announced.

I could be wrong but I always remember it only having blue listed so that's why I said it's nothing new.

LOL what a joke. They've been playing customers all this time getting them amped up to come to them for the phone and then they push back the release.
Why is it that every single Nexus release since the original has been a horrible mess of release dates, availability, and price? This is ridiculous. I'm guessing it was Google that pushed it back, since they've also neglected to update other Nexus devices with Android 5.0, but someone needs to come out and actually talk to their customers about this garbage.

Funny thing is, I called a few stores around here (in Cleveland...still a fairly large metropolitan area) and only 2 even knew what a Nexus 6 was...and those two said they hadn't gotten a shipment and were hoping to get one tomorrow.
That was before T-Mo broke the news that they don't know how to run a business.

Hahahah I swear one of the stores didn't know what I am talking about. I said never mind [emoji1] same thing happened to the note 4 the biggest store here had 7 in the store and some had 4. Shame on them. Oh well we can't do anything and just wait

To the people that have received their device... Did it just randomly show up or did it come as the timeline on moto tracker said it would? I ordered mine the first moments it was released and I am still in the "building device" stage. Did anyone get tracking info etc?

Mine is the same way. Est. delivery date of the 15th, and I ordered on the 2nd around 4pm-ish (eastern time). Oh well, it'll be worth the wait

Mine still shows as being built on Moto. I ordered on the 4th. FedEx shows a label generated and estimated delivery on the 15th.

just when I finally made up my mind to pick up this phone, now every where I look is gone.
Last week they still had a few color left, this week it's all out.
Hopefully they restock soon.
