I just got a Hauwei Watch, it's my first Android Wear. So far I love it, not even 24 hours and it's come in handy quite a bit.
I just got my first voicemail notification on my phone and the watch didn't indicate anything. My phone is a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6. Is this normal or is something wrong? I can't find a single subject on this. Thanks!

Hey folks, this issue has been present on my Droid 4 as well as my note 3 for a few months, regardless of what rom I am on. The problem is that my Fiance works in a medical radiation cancer treatment center, and there is absolutely no cell reception for her. Because of this, we use hangouts through the day.
If my phone has been untouched for, lets just say 1 hour, and she sends me a message, I get a notification. However, if I reply to her, and a few mins later she messages me back, I get no notifications. No sound, no notification bar pop up, nothing.
This is super frustrating, but it acts almost like a feature that has been implemented on purpose. I want it to pester me, and I want to know the moment I have a message. Otherwise, I am constantly unlocking my phone and checking out the hangouts screen.
Running Jasmine now, but this was a problem with stock as well.

I have this SAME EXACT problem. Couldnt figure it out. Me and my wife are using whatsapp for the time being.
Hey everyone
I got a nexus 5 and using a Galaxy gear live.
I think there was an update the other day to google services and I think since then the watch has been having issues.
I get notifications and everything fine
But when I try to say text my friend Justin
I go OK google. Text Justin mobile. Say my text. It transcript it fine but then says I didn't catch that. And does that every time. I will say hey what's up. It will show that fine in the screen but then all of a sudden it will say didn't catch that
Anyone else having that issue at all?
At least it's not just me then! Same thing started a couple of days ago for me too. Using the LG G Watch R, it now won't "show me my steps", "set a timer for 50 minutes" or acknowledge what I want to say in a message even though it's got it up on the screen. Must be a software bug as I've reset the watch and reinstalled Android Wear on my phone. Still gets my notifications through so it's just a matter of waiting for a patch I suppose.
Weirdly enough, I can't reply to texts (I use Hangouts) but I can dictate replies to Whatsapp messages so it must be a google thing.
I suspect it's a server-side issue as it suddenly happened to a lot of us (though seemingly not all) around the same time. It's similar to how voice dictation of location-based reminders stopped working for some people for a few days a couple of months ago. I do find it alarming, though, that the primary and intended method of interacting with the watch can simply go offline for days on end without a word for Google.

Ya. Seems to be working again fine without issues now. Was odd

Unfortunately it still doesn't work for me. Really frustrating
Yesterday's Android Wear app update has solved the "show me my steps" issue but texting is still out of action.
Hey folks, running into several issues with my G2, hopefully someone can offer a bit of advice.
Here's the background. This is my 2nd G2 (first one got accidentally damaged), and I elected not to root or mod this one in any way once I saw it would eventually get the Lollipop update, at least until I could see what LG and Verizon cooked up. Well, the update got pushed through last night, and now I'm having nothing but problems.
1. Charging. I'm using the same cables I've always used with the phone, but now they don't seem to actually charge the phone at all. For instance, I plugged the phone in about an hour ago with the battery at 74%. The charging light is on, and the phone says it is charging, but the battery is now at 69%. This is with the original USB charger that came with the phone. I also tried another Motorola charger I had laying around, and the same thing seems to be happening.
2. Texting. I have no problem receiving texts, but I do when trying to reply. Once I send it away, it just says "Sending..." for a minute or two, then tells me it failed to send. I currently have a good signal, and I'm having no problem sending texts from my work phone (Droid 4, also on Verizon).
3. Error messages. I keep getting this message: "An Application Requires an Update. Requested by Google Play Services." When I click it in my notification bar, it takes me to the Play Store and to the Google Play Framework page, but the only options are "Deactivate", which doesn't work...or "Open", which just takes me to a settings menu. There is no option to update. Then this takes me to my next issue...
4. Unable to update any apps. I figured that the above error is an issue with an app I have that just needs to be updated to play nicely with Lollipop. Problem being, it won't let me update much of anything. Nearly every single app I try to update gets somewhere between 15-50% downloaded, then just hangs. I've tried letting it sit for up to 5 minutes, which is much longer than it should take to update a 10MB application, but it never moves an inch.
5. Strange icon. Last one may or may not have anything to do with my other issues. It's only started in the last half hour or so. Up in the status bar, there's a new icon displayed. It looks like a solid block with one edge sliced off (maybe it is supposed to be a piece of paper with a folded corner?) and has a question mark in it. It's in between my 4G icon and my signal strength, which is currently showing all 4 bars full.
Any thoughts, comments, suggestions, or sympathy? It sucks, because I really love the phone. Please don't give me the canned answer to just root it and run a custom rom. I would certainly consider it, except with the battery steadily decreasing, I don't know if it will survive the process.
Lg backup then factory reset.

So lately I have not been getting hangout notifications and it's driving me nuts. I have it paired to my android wear watch and 80% of the time it works fine but other times I get text messages and nothing, no buzz, not even a notification in my task manager letting me know I have a unread message, totally blank. It's not until I go into hangouts and I see the bold text that I know I got a message. Even when not paired to the watch, same thing, no buzz, sound, notificiaon icon, nothing until I open hangouts and see it.
Anyone else having this issue?? Driving me crazy and I already missed plans with friends because of it. Fully stock and on 6.0.1 as of a few days ago and still the problem.
Are you logged into hangouts on another device or computer? Also check to make sure you didn't snooze their notifications.

I had this issue. Try turning off wifi and see if it works. Mine did on cell data only. The messages would come into me on wifi, but I would just not get notified. I did a roll back on it and a re-install and it started working again normally. The first time I had this was on my Nexus 6. This is a LONG running hangouts problem ( various posts out there show it going back to 2012 ).
I've been using Google's Messaging app over the Sony one since I got the device. I've noticed though since the 7.1.1 upgrade, sporadically some text messages just never end up notifying me. I've sometimes caught them as much as 24 hours late when I just happen to notice the message is there after I open it up to text someone else.
Anyone else running into this?? It's really freaking annoying when on vacation and trying to plan with people.
