Have Nice day !:highfive:
Thank you! its not work for me, but i did it!
1. uncheck autoreboot in odin
2. Download CWM (not TWRP or Philz > its not work for me in first time) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2697523
3. Set CWM in AP and press start
4. When it PASS, manually power off phone, and start it to Recovery
5. And now you must install TWRP or Philz again. (dont turn on the phone, only download mode)
Same problem / Still not working
Hey guys,
I have the same problem here.
The other thread ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/help/custom-recovery-protection-samsung-t3135004 ) suggested going back to an older rom version.
I have tried every other combination of flashing CF / CWM / TWRP but the outcome is the same.
No working recovery.
Is there a possibility without reverting to an older rom, as the BOE5 is not named in the other thread?
Hey guys,
got it working for me.
I flashed G900FXXU1ANG2_G900FDBT1ANG2_DBT via Odin and got a bootloop at first.
Then flashed twrp-2.8.7.0-klte.img in dowload mode
--> boot to recovery, wiped everything, installed custom rom (newest cdroid version) and super su --> phone booted, with root and installed custom rom with 5.1.1

@BlackMonkey It happened to me several times. What I had to do: flashed the stock ANE2 rom from sammobile (it allows to download for free, but it is slow). Flashed the BL and CP from ANE2 (I don't remember where I found it but it was on google. Actually, you should try the next step first, as I am not sure that it is required). Rebooted in recovery mode. Wiped cache. Rebooted. Root with towelroot. Install mobile odin. Flashed rom with option everroot. And you got lollipop in knox 0x0. Once in lollipop, mobile odin as failed each time for me, the same as you describe. It could be an issue with rom that use AROMA which are not supported. I had to use flashfire which works great.
ps : i did that as I wanted to keep knox 0x0. If you don't, you should install TWRP.

Thank you for your answer. I alredy did exactly this because i wanted to use again my phone and didnt see other solution. I hoped for a solution without a factory reset but it was necessary. Lost some picture and messages and have work for some hours So at that point be warned:
DON'T USE MOBILE ODIN WITH LOLLIPOP!!!
The problem is MOP doesn't support Lollipop.
So if u want to save data flash via odin the same rom but stock.
So i wanted to flash a custom ROM but it wasn't stable.I decided to wait longer for a more stable version but i couldn't wait any longer and flashed the ROM even though there were some Known issues.
i flashed using TWRP and it was a success.Well..i forgot to factory wipe and have ended up with a stuck Samsung display screen(with a red exclamation mark top left of the screen) just before the Samsung logo animation would always appear.I then downloaded a pre-rooted stock ROM(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2690270)
flashed it with Odin but no avail.I then tried to change the recovery to CWM using Odin but still no avail.I then flashed back to TWRP recovery and wiped OS and cache.then re-flashed the pre-rooted ROM but same results..Lastly i tried sending the pre-rooted stock ROM to the SD card using ADB but it wont even install the ROM as it says Failed every time.Any help would be appreciated
You should have never done that
HELLO,well you are sooo unlucky mate. You shouldn't install cm11 since the developing of this app has closed.(everyone is working on cm12,which is not made for GT-I9060i).
possibly solutions:
1)go to sammobile and search for you phone.
2)download latest STOCK NOT PRE-ROOTED rom.
3)open your phone and wipe all data + cache-dalvic
4)download samsung galaxy grand neo plus usb drivers for pc - (or kies)
5)put your phone in downloading mode (POWER BUTTON+HOME BUTTON+VOLUME DOWN BUTTON)
6)open ODIN (samsung version of ODIN)
6)select the firmware you downloaded.(unzip it first)
7)connect your phone to pc (after installed drivers or kies)
8)press start
DONE :good::good::good:
IF THIS DIDN'T WORK YOU HAVE PROBLEM IN HARDWARE :crying:.
GO GET A HAMMER AND SMASH THE PHONE SINCE IT COSTS MORE TO FIX IT :good:
Hi,
I tried to install CWM on my rooted Note 3 N9005 with the latest 5.0 updates and the default recovery kept overwriting the custom. So I followed the advice on an article to delete the files [/system/recovery-from-boot.p] [/system/etc/install-recovery.sh] an this made my phone to fall in a loop, booting and trying to find these files then rebooting and so on...
I then had no choice but to load the stock ROM via ODIN which fixed the loop.
Is there anyway to install a custom recovery on a Note 3 running 5.0 - I want to do this in order to continue and install a custom ROM.
Thanks in advance for the answers!!
Don't use cwm as it has not been updated for a long time. Download the latest tar version of twrp for your phone.
Open Odin, uncheck everything except f.reset time, flash twrp, when you see the word "reset" in the status window, remove the USB cable from the phone, remove the battery, wait about 5 seconds, replace battery, use button combination to boot into recovery.
Thank you!!
What did the trick was that I quickly removed the battery and went to recovery mode. Even with "Auto Reboot" deselected the phone rebooted so if I left it it would have overwritten again the custom recovery.
Just a quick note to help others... anyone trying to flash Darklord or Phronesis ROM... USE TWRP v.2.8.0 and not the latest. The latest version for some reason won't install the ROMs.
thanx this wad so heapful .

Could be a year out of date and in some respects it is .
KEY is roms with AROMA installer will not work above 2.8 TWRP .
Hello,
I have a SM-A700FD. Some time ago I installed a ROM from xda (https://forum.xda-developers.com/samsung-a-series/development/rom-t3462703) The ROM ported from c7.
Now I am trying to go back to the stock ROM, but I just can not flash any rom.
Some reasons:
1. The PC doesn't recognize the phone (neither download mode, neither recovery, neither with a ROM). I tried in 4 different PCs;
2. I've got the recovery TWRP. I can flash the ROM, but the phone is stock in the boot screen.
3. Without the connection between the phone and the PC I just cant use the ODIN. Then I cannot flash again the stock ROM.
4. I had success flashing the CM 12.1 (UNNOFICIAL, but the ROM is old and full of bugs). Neither the resurrection rom, neither stock works on my phone.
5. The phone goes to download mode and recovery mode. My custom recovery is a TWRP 3.0.2-0.
Then I tried many ROMS (AOSP and stock, flashing by recovery) and all of them stops on boot logo.
Anyone got any suggestion?
Thanks.
Regards.

You need to wipe your data partition. AOSP/CM based roms and stock roms do not have compatible DATA partitions.
The rom I installed wasnt aosp. Made the wipe already... Nothing changes.

If you don't have a hardware problem then the procedure below should restore the device to a bootable state.
Wipe data
Install stock with odin
Wait at least 10 mins for boot to complete.
Well. Tried but, as I said, my pc (tried in até least 4 different PCs) doesnt recognize my cellphone.
Thats not hardware. It appeared just when I tried tô change the rom.
Srry.

1- Load the following Samsung USB drivers for Windows:
http://samsungusbdriver.com/download/samsung-driver-v1-5-61-0
2- Install the drivers while you mobile is disconnected.
3- Put your mobile into download mode. (Vol Down + Power)
4- Run Odin and then connect your mobile after (It has to be recognized by assigning you a port number COMx in Odin under ID:COM).
5- Make sure that only F.Reset Time and Auto Reboot are checked under the ODIN Options tab (IMPORTANT: NOTHING ELSE IS CHECKED)
6- Select you Stock ROM in the AP tab of Odin and as soon as it is loaded hit Start.
7- The phone will restart and wait for few minutes till the Stock ROM builds its caches, optimizes its apps and start.
Hope this helps you restore your stock ROM and tell me how it went

Hi.
I made the procedure you said. First of all, Thanks.
The odin doesn't recognize the Phone.
The rom I installed in the first moment was Port from c7. I got that messages "warranty bit kernel" "Keynes is not seandroid".
Maybe something went wrong in that place.

Ok then it seems you have a bootloader problem. I suggest you unzip your A700FD stock ROM tar.md5 file by deleting the md5 extension (Rename SM-A700FD-ROM.tar.md5 to SM-FD700-ROM.tar), then unzip the ROM.tar file using WinRAR or 7Zip. Now you will have all the ROM partitions files including boot.img and system.img files as well as others. I suggest you place both files on your external SD Card via the PC (using a card reader) and then flash both from within TWRP (You can change in TWRP to flash img files instead of zip files) while formatting the data and cache partitions and reboot.
I believe that way you can restore the boot.img and system.img partitions, correct any corruption in the boot and system partitions and can flash the whole ROM again using ODIN or flash any other custom ROM (non ported) as soon as your mobile gets recognized by your PC.
Let me know how it went.. Good luck
Thanks a lot. I did not think in that way. I'll try and then ill post here if that worked. Thanks a lot.

i had also tried via odin but recovery did'nt show up when i pressed volumeup+power+home . just a bunch of letters on the top right corner . Pls help me (i am a noob)

i tried your method and decided to see if it was working properly and i followed the instruction for rooted devices in https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-boot-to-recovery/
Not only it did'nt work now my phone is just displaying the samsung galaxy s4 logo with words on the top left corner that says
recovery booting. . . .
recovery is not seandroid enforcing
set warranty bit : recovery
i just also checked the twrp manager app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jmz.soft.twrpmanager
it shows "custom recovery not installed or not detected"
How did you flash TWRP? You confirmed that the model # of the phone is sgh-i337m?
I could never get the fastboot instructions in the original post to work since all Samsung phones (non-Google Play versions) I have used did not support fastboot commands.

I downloaded the .tar file from the team win website for the samsung galaxy s4 canada and i opened odin .
switched off my phone , put it in download mode (volume down+power+ home ,pressed volume up again for confirmation)
connected to computer , odin shows added , clicked AP selected the .tar file and clicked start without making any changes in the options tab . Phone restarts
Flashing TWRP with Odin on a phone running a stock ROM will replace the stock recovery; however, if auto reboot is selected in Odin, rebooting the phone after flashing TWRP will cause the stock recovery or overwrite TWRP and this is one reason some people uncheck auto reboot.
I suggest starting over by flashing the latest stock ROM from sammobile.com with Odin 3.07.

I have just flashed my phone with stock rom from sammobile , after that i put into download mode again and did'nt select the autoreboot . when it was completed i tried going into recovery mode without switching on my phone so i removed the battery and placed it again and pressed volume up+power+home and i still got the same things that showed up before .
Did you try flashing different versions of TWRP? I suggest starting with 2.87. You can then use TWRP itself to flash newer zip versions.
