Forgot to load ROM before WIPE - sd card shows nothing - Galaxy Tab 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
i thought i read everything carefully, so maybe not...
i'd like to flash my galaxy tab 4 10.1 T-SN 530 (Wifi only)
What i did so far.
Rooted
Installed TWRP 2.7.1.0
Wiped
-----------
Now i'd like to install blisspop 4.0
I forgot to load it into the internal memory, ok my bad.
i thought hey, try a SD Card. so i loaded the .zip from blisspop onto the sd. but as soon as i put it into the tab it can't find the SD? the memory is the same than the internal one. it feels like i can't select the SD.
I'd like to post a picture... so what it shows is "select storage: Internal storage (11819MB) sdcard (11819MB) (it is 8 GB card btw...)
what can i do to proceed? i feel stupid and stock... Please help me
I heard that twrp 2.8 can mount the tab directly to the laptop, how can i update my twrp?
Or do you guys have any other ideas?
THANKS THANKS THANKS ALOT!!!
Jay

Got a 10 foot pole?
Yes... I have ben tested the version 2.1.4 and i have to restore a nondroid backup. If a new one version works I post here.
I'm using version 2.4.1 on my Milestone XT720. It's been a month now and running smoothly.

sorry for my dumb question..but how does it work? i installed 2.5 on my rooted milestone with 1gb ext2 partition on sd card.
then i chose "install app2card/transfer apps"..it said that all apps were copied to ext2 and i can see it from the drive infos.
but now? i have the apps both in internal and external memory? i wanted to free some space in internal memory..how can i do it? i tried to translate the vietnamese page but it wasn't so clear (at least for me). any help would be very appreciated, thanks.

after transferring the apps, have you reboot the phone? if you've rebooted, open App2Card to see whether it is successful or not.
if there's no error message pop-up and the AppStatus: is showing "Locaton: SD CARD" then you're good to go.
to clear-up your internal memory, power-off the phone, remove SD card and boot.
(don't worry, it will boot) with something like the phone is reset. there, uninstall the apps that appearing in the list. (except App2Card) it will clear more space. (don't worry about the apps, it's already copy to your SD card).
once you've finished, insert the SD card and reboot.
then, click Menu>Wipe>Dalvik-Cache>Internal Memory
it will release some more space in your internal RAM.
hi thank you
use milestone 2.1 rooted and run app2card 2.793 ...goes fine
but find weierd issue with wifi and fat 32 sd card. i do reboot & pull out sd card still same..
if milestone able to conect wifi network the fat32 seem not mounted/ not accesable
turn off the wifi restart and fat 32 can read .but then turn on wifi ,not able to conect to same wifi network
how to fix this...thx

Omfg what did i do????

Yeah so started in developement thread, i need helps.
i have ICS bootloader, adb setup, blah blah.
I made a backup of thor's build 170 with his recovery 1.7.3 CWM.
I then flashed TWRP 2.1.0 by accident and installed Jelly Bean preview build 4.5 without internal sd card support...
FML
twrp 2.1.0 doesn't recognize the old backup, won't read external sd card for whatever reason so, f**k that.
it boots to build 4.5, which reads the external card, but not the internal and as far as i can tell no way to fix that without downloading something WHICH REQUIRES AN INTERNAL SD CARD...
is there any way to flash a different recovery from adb directly from a computer????? GAH!!! I'm supposed to be selling it in t-2 hours and i'm so boned right now.. lol?
and holy hell just found an old download on the internal sd card of one of thor's first honeycomb builds... wow. hey, it installed and just transferred the .zip over. Installed thor's recovery and rom... thank GOD. sorry for the clutter, i was just running out of ideas... i almost literally crapped myself...

okay go on cwm and go into backups and restores and then go to where it says toggle backup and restore of internal storage (data/media) and enable it, then data wipe and there you have it, hope it helps !

Bought a 16GB Moto X Style, 3GB seems to have disappeared.

Screenshot
Total used is around 2.5GB, but my phone says 5.5 GB is used. (See the screenshot above)
My media and everything else is migrated to my SD card formatted to internal mode.
I had this problem of missing storage space even before I formatted my external SD as internal.
I am running fully stock Android 6.0.
Please help.
Bump.

from your post, it seems your phone is correct if you have 2.5 used and it says the same...:silly:
but, to help, do you have an old backup (TWRP) laying around on your phone? How about Titanium BU's? That might be the cuplrit.

I'm sorry, I meant 5.5.
And no, I don't have any twrp backups.
I haven't messed around with a custom recovery/root at all.

[HELP] Internal SD Card "Unsupported". Cannot access files.

Hi everyone,
I have a S5 klte with Samsung SD card formatted as Internal Storage.
Yesterday, I thought I will update my Slim rom 0.6 to the newest version 1.3. After flashing the rom, wiping cache and dalvik cache phone stuck on boot animation. Now, the stupid thing I've done was to push "Fix permissions" in TWRP recovery. After that, I was able to boot my phone, but it lacked most of the apps which were installed previously, none of the google services would work, I could see all the pictures/videos in my gallery, however. When I tried to backup those to my PC, I could see only a small part of it. Tried flashing previous rom, different gaps, wiping cache - nothing.
Then, I thought, I will do a regular wipe, since I didn't cared much about lost apps. From the experience I knew, that wiping does not touch media stored in internal storage. So I wiped my phone and restarted (with old slim 0.6 flashed before).
Now the phone works great, but there is HUGE problem. All internal storage is gone including pictures and videos and Samsung card, which was formatted as internal storage, now says "Unsupported card" and asks me to format it either to external or internal.
What could I do? Is there any way to "re-link" the internal card so that I could see its contents? Or I should use some file recovery software and see what I can get?
Thank you in advance for the help!
Did you try popping out your SD card out of your phone and using an SD card reader to get data off it onto a pc

Well, I am using Mac for the moment, so when I try to connect sd card to it the notification pops up, that drive is not accessible, or something similar.
Tomorrow I will be able to try it on PC, but I believe nothing will change. The biggest problem is that sd card is formatted as internal storage and linked with phone's internal storage. I do not know these inner mechanics, but I believe that I need to somehow recreate that link.
Hmm your probably right good luck trying to fix it

Sadly, there is not much of info due to complexity of this issue. Still waiting for at least some hints what should I do...
UPDATE: PC does not respond to the sd card at all, there is no sound, no drive, nothing.

noob question: can i wipe internal storage and install a rom from my sd?

That says it all. I know I could with my note 5 but lg seems to be a little bit different. Thanks guys. Oh yeah I have ls997 with team devdigital 6.5 magisk ROM.
As long as you transfer the zip file to the sd card, then yes.
