[Q] Impossible to root KTU84P.N910FXXU1ANK4

Hi there,
Im not a newbie at rooting but also no pro. I got my note 4 recently and its impossible to root.
After some searching on the net i figured out that the problem seems to be the KTU84P version.
Can somebody tell me what the "KTU84P" version means and if there is a way to root it.
I never had problems before with rooting or flashing my other samsungs.
Thank you
Odin twrp or cwm flash rom or supersu

Rooting SM-N910G 5.0.1

Hey, just to double check. Can i root my Galaxy note 4, SM-N910G on 5.0.1 using chainfire's CF-Autoroot? I checked the website for the autoroot and it stated that its for version 4.4.4
Does it still work on my 5.0.1 without any issues?

Screen mirroring issue

I rooted my n910c via @talexop kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/development/note-4-910c-kernel-talexop-5-1-1-t3192767 and screen mirroring encountered error (( hardware issue )) while trying to connect
Restored via TWRP which i backed up before root and still the same problem
Any fix for this or i have to flash the stock 5.1.1 on clean phone ??
Thanks in advance

I think Screen mirroring works only on stock recovery, kernel, system etc.... But maybe you can try out this http://www.usoftsmartphone.com/t264946.html
While I was on S4 there where a library patch but maybe the above link might help you out... Keep backup of your old build.prop file
It has just worked for me http://www.usoftsmartphone.com/t264946.html adding to the build file

this worked for me on the Note 4 N910t3 From Tmobile! Stock Kernel, Systemless Root, 5.1.1

Update to Kitkat with root using Flashfire?

Hi guys just a quick question.
I am on currently on the 1st build of Kitkat 4.4.2 (G900FXXU1ANCE) on my s5 g900f rooted with towel root and Knox 0x0. I prefer to stay on Kitkat but want to update it to the latest 4.4.2 Kitkat update (G900FXXU1ANI3)
I wanted to know if i download the firmware from sammobile and place the zip file on my sd card, can i use Flashfire with the inject SuperSU option to flash it to my phone, and if that would maintain the root and knox 0x0 for me?
I am not a fan of pc odin. Thanks

Bootloader can't be flashed with Flashfire as of this time.
And you need to update it in order to ANI3 firmware to boot.
Your only option is ODIN mate.
Cheers!

Upgrading to 6.0.1?

Hello all I'm on Lollipop now and I'm rooted. Should I upgrade to 6.0.1? Are there root methods for marshmallow?
Will the xposedd module work? Because I need to download the module that enables private mode and shealth

Yeah why not .? 6.0 much better than 5.0
You should try new features

Ye I want to try it but I'm concerned about the root and closed if they will work

Yes the most recent cf-autoroot works fine. TWRP also installs fine. Battery life will be appreciably better due to doze mode. I don't think it will be a problem.

well, if you already rooted, then you can try some stock-base custom ROM.
Just now, I flashed 6.0.1 stock ROM via ODIN.
Now Note 4 has screen off memo! Yay!
CF Auto root works so fine with 910H 6.0.1, so I think I'll stay with stock ROM for a moment.
Everything thing is working fine just try

If you are set up the way you like, then why change? I'm on 4.4.4 with a dark theme, lots of xposed modules, custom fonts, greenify root (which means I don't need doze) , and security via appopsxposed. I don't think marshmallow really offers me anything. Have MM on my nexus devices and prefer 4.4.4 still on the Note.

I dont have it. But I think I saw it somewhere in xda. Try to use google.
Or if you have plenty of internet bandwidth, you can download samfirm (from xda too) to download a stock firmware directly from samsung. And flash it with odin.

Hold if you can. Horrible battery drain on Canadian update (rogers). If you read a bit, all releases are experiencing this. And the culprit is Android System that is using max battery.
No fix reported for this yet.
My phone battery has dropped from full day plus to barely half day at 21% remaining.
