Help! Samsung galaxy y error message from reboot button at cwm! - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and Duos 6102 Q&A, Help & Troubl

Hey Guys! So here's my problem today... You see my friend wanted a new ROM for his galaxy Y. And I, being a geek; accepted. Now when I flashed CWM, it worked fine at first but when I tried to reboot it at the CWM menu it says "Root access is missing. Root device. THIS CANNOT BE UNDONE." and there are 2 options either "-No" or "Yes - Root device (/system/xbin.".. Now, no matter what I choose it still wont boot up completely and open CWM. How do I fix this??? I don't want to ruin my friends new phone (I know it's a cheap phone, but it's "special" to my friend) !! HELP!

[Q] Help me!! Problem restoring backup of encrypted phone

Hey all,
I'm stuck, at a loss here...
I have a galaxy S4 GT-i9500 and am now stuck unable to boot up through my encrypted phone password. Here's what happened in choronological order:
Encrypted the phone (My unlock PIN = "0000")
Installed cofface cwm recovery
Rooted the phone with cwm superSU v0.99
Backed up with external SD
Flashed pacman i9500 4.3
Rebooted and... it said something along the lines of "encrypted phone, needs to be reset" and it wouldn't start up, it only gave me the option of "reset phone" and it would just reboot it.
So I decided to attempt to restore my backup. It said "wrong MD5" so I took out the sd card, popped it into my computer, and was told to just have a blank nandroid.md5 file in the backup and it should work. It did.
So my backup restore is totally successful, but now when I turn on the phone and have to enter the PIN, my PIN is WRONG! I can't get into the phone now because the PIN doesn't work.
I really don't care about my backup datafiles, I don't care if the phone is encrypted, I just want a working phone again with whatever ROM is available. Can anyone shed some light on my situation? I really don't want to drop another $600 for a new phone.
Thanks

[Q] My NOTE 3 does not sign in

Hello.
I have a Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 LTE and rooted it. I saw a thread how to get the Galaxy S5 Settings list view. I downloaded the SecSettings.apk for the Galaxy Note 3. I installed it into system/priv-app and gave it the correct properties. Then I deleted the old SecSystem.apk and odex and rebooted my phone. Just so that you know, I have a handwriting protection for security which was preinstalled from Samsung. After turning it on again everything looked normal. As I am about to sign in with my handwriting My Phone does not log in. If i try to put in the pin, no keyboard pops up to put it in. Only Google speach recognition opens and it loads and loads and loads. I can not use my phone to change anything, because I can not log in. My phone is not turned in to debugging mode and first it says settings stopped and then it says android.phone stopped and then it says systemui.xxxx stopped. For a second i can then see my homescreen. Then it locks again. I have important pictures I dont want to loose. How can I save them before flashing my phone with odin and wiping everything? What can I do(anything)? Can I put a new rom on there without loosing any data or how do the tools work on kies. My phone is locked and i wont be able to unlock it. Reasons are given. I am about to cry. I dont have enough money to buy another one and I dont want to loose my pictures. PLEASE HELP. URGENT
PS: Ask me any question if it helps you to solve my problem
Flash offical firmware. It will not wipe internal memory unless it stuck at samsung boot logo where you need to do factory reset from recovery. Or flash a custom rom

i had my phone rooted, but i wanted to uninstall this.
so i used an app for it, but then it rebooted and it had a bootloop.
first step i tryd to reset it with the recovery tool within the phone.
not works because of an error. E: cant mount (or something)
so i tryd to bring back too stock firmware with odin.
it came back with an error.
NAND write start, FAIL...
next thing i did was to try recovery with samsung programma smart switch.
also fail. (now i have this logo An error has occurred while updating the device software. use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch pc software) while powering my phone.
i dont know what to do anymore, im working on this since 11 clock this morning and im getting a little depressive about this.

This is the Edge + forum, you have an Edge? Different devices. You need to post on the Edge forum.

If you're still able to get into download mode try rooting your phone, install custom recovery and boot into recovery.
Then flash a custom rom
After that if you want stock again test if Odin works
@Ticky-Nax
Odin fails to flash if the firmware isn't the right one for your phone or you've got a bad download.
Look on the backside of your phone. There's some text. Search for something like SM-G925 and another letter behind it. Now visit http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and insert exactly the modelnumber from your back. Now search for a firmware from the Netherlands and download it. Last of all you need to flash it again with Odin and it should work.
@mattan1999's method won't work because you killed your bootloader I guess. This means you really have to reflash a stock firmware with Odin
I hope this helps a bit

GN4 freeze and reboot ramdomly

Hello guys,
I want to apologize myself for my poor english and the mistakes I will do.
I explain you my problem : I get a GN4 witch was sold as "reboot alone, bootloop". I was thinking that a factory reset solve the problem, like often.
But the phone don't make a bootloop : it freeze and it reboot. It freeze most of the time during the first "picture", when you see "SAMSUNG Galaxy note 4, propulsed by Android". Sometimes it come to the next step, with samsung writen.
I am able to go in dowload mod and flash with Odin. I flash many stock roms (full wipe in 4 files included) and many bootloaders but it doesn't work. Most of the times after the flash, the phone go further than before do it : it come easy to the samsung logo.
When I got it I was not able to go in recovery mode but since I flash TWRP I can flash custom roms and make wipes.
The strange fact : When I received the phone, it boots normaly and I have use it during several hours. When I shut it in order ti put my SIM card in, it begin to reboot.
And today after many flashes, I succeed to boot entierely the phone. But my problem still persist, when I shuted off the phone at 7:00PM I was never able to boot it normaly.
So I am pretty sure that is a soft problem, and it is only during the boot. Since the phone is start there is no problem, downloadmod et custom recovery ok.
So have you a idea of what it could be? Is there other sofware parts wich can be endommaged appart Odin's one?
I ask the question on a french forum but they don't have the skills of XDA forumers . They don't know what it could be
I really thank a lot every body who had the bravoure to read this, and thank more than that who have a solution to this problem !!
So sorry for my english

Rooted Samsung Galaxy S4 has Nonresponsive Touchscreen

Hello all. Today I decided to root my Samsung Galaxy S4, model SM-S975L. I followed a post from these forums to the T, and everything was going great, until my phone went to sleep and then locked. After it was locked, the touch screen stopped responding. I gave it a reboot and it worked until locked yet again, and again and again and again. I then attempted to use a USSD code that was supposed to bring up some kind of fix to the touch screen firmware, I believe, and the code didn't do anything. Got a pop up that said it was running the USSD code and then nothing happened, it just disappeared. I was also unable to update the su binary when I downloaded SuperSU. Don't know if this is related. Below is the link I used to root my phone. Any help would be wonderful!
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66590962&postcount=223
Judging by that guide, you did not root your device, you installed a completely different firmware.
Not only that, but it is an old version too.
I suggest you download this version and in the configuration screen select "STOCK KERNEL".
It's pretty much the same process as with the other version.
I forgot to mention I rooted my device with the PC version of KingoRoot, and when I used a root checker app it did say it was rooted.
But say I go this route, am I to also install open gapps? And does it need to be a different version?
So my touch screen stopped working again, this time during the AROMA installer. Managed to get through that with the volume keys and power button. Then it took me back to the screen from TWRP where it says I successfully installed the zip. But my phone is locked and my touch screen is not working. What to do? Please, anybody... I don't want to just pull the battery because I still need to wipe the cache and dalvik and doing that to your phone isn't good for it anyways, from my understanding. Please, I don't want to make it even worse if I can avoid it!

Then flash any other ROM that does not have the word "Optimized" or "Aroma" in its name.
You can also flash the official Lineage ROM, I assume it should work.
I attempted to unroot by flashing the original firmware for my Galaxy S4 and ended up soft bricking it, I think. It says "firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again." Kies is not recognizing the phone. Am I correct in thinking it is soft bricked? If so, how can this be fixed? Please explain as if you were explaining to a child, I am clearly not very good at this.

try flashing it with Odin again, Kies isn't needed, just connect it to PC(while in that screen) and flash the stock rom with Odin, it should recognize it.
