G928 version on At&t - Galaxy S6 Edge+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm trying to get a definitive answer as to which unlocked/unlockable version would be best for my carrier. Does anyone have the 928f or the 928i working on At&t or heard any issues with speed? Please help if you can.

I am also looking for the same answer, which one is best for AT&T between 928c, 928f, or 928i, and which model has Samsung Pay

[Q] Install i9505 rom on AT&T S4?

Has anyone tried installing the international rom on the AT&T version? Aren't the phones both the same? Or can anyone make a port of the international rom like for the Note II? Thanks!
Not sure if it would work. specs are similar though the LTE bands show some differences.

The AT&T version has a locked bootloader so no.

I'll keep this short and simple without being rude. The AT&T Galaxy S4 has a locked bootloader, which means we currently cannot install any ROMs whatsoever. The Canadian variants have unlocked bootloaders, so they might be able to answer your question, but otherwise check back around the end of the month (when we anticipate that we'll have an unlocked bootloader, thanks to djbliss).

[Q] Unlocking T-Mobile to AT&T

Hello all,
Please help a newb on switching networks! I currently have T-Mobile with my Note 3.
Is it as easy as just switching out the SIM CARD? Or do I have to do something special to use it on AT&T?
If so can you please explain how hard or easy this would be to do?
Thank you!

More information is needed. Which specific model of Note 3 do you have? N900T? N9005? If you have the TMobile branded version (N900T) you will need to get the phone unlocked first before you can use an AT&T SIM card.

I have the T-MOBILE BRANDED version N900T.
I started making payments on it a few months ago. They won't let me unlock it until phone is paid off.
Is there anyway around this?

You are actually in the International Note 3 forum, this question would be better suited in the T-mobile N900T or AT&T N900A Note 3 forum. Luckily for you, I'm running a N900T on AT&T :good:.
Anyway have a look at this thread and it should answer your questions. Don't forget to hit Thanks!

Yours should be a variant of Verizon/US Cellular.
You'll need to request a test build of CF Auto Root for it. You can in this thread.
When you make the request just mention requesting for SM-G900R6, close relative to SM-G900R4. Should hopefully speed up the process.
And for reference, your closest variant is Verizon.
Thx for the advice & help..

Verizon to Sprint - Better to go to G930U or G930P?

Hey Everyone,
I'm brand new to this world, so I apologize that I could not piece together the information I need through existing threads.
I recently switched carriers from Verizon to Sprint, and through Sprint's IMEI check I was told my phone (G930V) was incompatible. Was wondering what the consensus was on whether or not it would serve me better to try flashing G930U or G930P? If anyone knows of a particular thread that could help that would be great, this is my first rodeo but I love my S7 and am already sick of having to use Sprints Moto E4 -_-.
Thanks.

G930U
with G930P, Sprint has choosen a bootloader which is e-fused and not compatable with the other variants.

Thanks a ton. Makes more sense now that I couldn't find any G930V -> G930P threads. I know I saw some G930V -> U threads though so I'll have to check them out. Appreciate the help!

Looking to buy B variant

Hi everyone. I am interested to get this phone. My carrier is tmobile in the US, so the best variant for me is the B version which has more LTE bands. Can somebody guide me about how/where to get this version? I searched online and I can not find info about what model number this is.
