New Unbranded Australian Update. V10h Aug 25th - G4 General

Will update when installed but LG aren't that bad at updating apparently.

Touch still works thank goodness.
Phone seems the same as V10f which is a good thing.
*Edit. Had to reboot phone as WiFi and 4g were both active and phone got hot.
Remove battery, reboot and all good now.

Awesome. My G4 should be arriving next week (getting it via work), looks good that these updates are happening. Will miss custom roms like Chroma though.

I also updated to V10h with H815L and my battery life seems similar to V10f. I get around 15 hours of battery life with 3.5 hours SOT and 2 hours talk time with WiFi and bt always on and also full sync for everything. I've had better battery life, but paired with a spare battery this device is more than perfect for me.

Newest update seems very stable.
Standby battery time is better but about the same when using the phone. So far very happy.

What device? H815T or H815K?
Have a rooted system image?
Seems v10d-OCT-29 is newer than this v10h build.

Why we get old updates? The last week i got an update from september, and now, you have one from august. What's the deal?

Just got a v10f on my h815 EUR. Said i improved functionality through Google patch and camera has been improved 59mb
May just be android security patch though

I wanna revert back to LL.

Well bro what we think/see stable might not be stable!
Really I've updated how many times already, 5 or 6, and in just 3 months, and I'll call them downgrade as they killed this device's good battery backup in terms of tick-tack gimmicks, it shows Samsung is not polished, that's all.

I'm not complaining at all, provided actual changes and fixes are included with the updates. However, lately it seems samsung is pushing one update after another with the exact changelog, so these end up being more of an annoyance than an enhancement.

Samsung never release change log.
Rather they release change list which indicates when it was last changed.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
urgh.. i dun care about the update.. what i really care is the addditional of new icon that i rarely used after update.. urgh!! y samsung didnt make it optional not to install those apps?
Guys to keep track of latest firmware updates please check this link
Www.samsung-updates.com and select your device from dropdown list.
As most of you said the changelist is the same for recent updates and you can see it from that link.
Any of you find noticed a fix for battery drain in the latest updates?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
No, there is NO fix. Only fix is going back to 4.1.1.

Doesn't sound too sexy, does it? But so far, it might have been
just a little more than "stability" that was fixed with this update.
I have tested the new FW/update for half an hour now, and it
FINALLY seems that the WIFI BUG(S) ARE GONE!!!!!!
I hold my breath & wait a little longer before announcing the
final verdict, but it really seems ok, so far. "Crossing fingers"

And it looks like the phone is sleeping a little more than before, so it's more power efficient...

It will be interesting to see if the 4.3 will fix all the "bugs" from the 4.2 update. I have downgraded to 4.1.2 since I need full screen / correct aspect ratio on MHL, real Tablet UI, and there were also quite a few language/UI errors in my region.
