Please help!!! I tried rooting my device using this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...utmctr=(not provided)&__utmv=-&__utmk=1390275
and after clicking start in odin, the progress bar stopped moving halfway through. I didn't know what to do so i shut down my phone and when i started it back up, i got the message: Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies and try again.
Now im stuck on this screen but i can still go into downloading mode.
I am using t-mobile and my phone model is SM-900. I think the problem was because i used the wrong file in odin. Rather than using:SM-N900 (International Exynos) i used SM-N900T (T-Mobile US). Anyway to fix this or am i screwed? Please help.

My phone just suddenly stopped working earlier today.it was running the latest omega rom with the latest modem and boot loader. ...
I cant get into recovery either. When I try it just reboots and goes to the samsung boot screen.my phone is a sim free insurance replacement and im not sure what stock rom to flash...
Could some nice soul just tell me the exact rom thats needed.
Its a uk based I9505 .
Please some one help as im away from home atm and have no way of contacting anyone.i have laptop and a dongle so can at least download and flash.
What ever has happened has corrupted it somehow.
I can still get into download mode how ever.
Id be eternally grateful if there is some nice soul to.help me
Just download and flash this with the latest Odin. Boot in download mode.
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=33356
This is the latest German FW that Omega is based. It has the "OXA" Multi-CSC, which also includes BTU (United Kingdom)
After flash you will not have any problem retrieving all your data, as long as you don't factory reset.

If it remains on the Samsung boot logo, then try to flash the same firmware with the .pit file and "Re-Partition" flag checked in Odin.
If still doesn't boot, then you have to enter recovery mode to wipe data/factory reset the device

Hey all,
I really messed up, and I know it, so please don't lecture me, I'll never do it again, I swear. I'm a complete N00B, and I should most definitely know better....
My phone was rooted, and I got that "intermediary" OTA update between 4.4.4 and 5.0 today, and lost my root, as well as not being able to update to 5.0. So, I downloaded Odin, and attempted to follow these instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2784880 It didn't go well, as I was stuck at the Verizon screen. So I attempted to flash back to the NK2, again using Odin, and got stuck at the Android boot screen. Now, after messing around with it some more, that's where I'm at.
Please help! Thank you!

Downloading now,....... Just got this device due to a insurance claim so this is a completelt new phone to me and I really want to either start or add to one specific form till we get a complete spot on the fourms.... Any way my ideal or a good ideal for us is to add everthing that is confirmed working as on today and add it to one fourm and reserve like 10 entrys for specific problems and the solutions. Or just in a easy format so everything is not so confusing till we get our device a Fourm started instead of a thread thats confusing and hard to follow.... Anyone with me???? Its a new device and we need development so bad.. im stuck in a bootloop as of now and cant find the info to help me and its so aggervating.... someone will have to maintain it of course

This does not work. I've tried it multiple times on multiple versions of Odin. This will not work if you use Boost Mobile. It either fails, hangs at flashing boot.img, or hangs at SetupConnection.

This works to get you back to stock from bootloop. I tried my hand at rooting this little SOB (TWRP,Magisk) and tripped the Knox counter bc I forgot to wipe it. Reboot came up with "Validation Failure" and I was stuck. I stumbled over this post and with nothing to lose other than $130.
First piece of advice...Use Odin 3.12.3 ONLY!! I tried the latest version and it didn't work. Download the files, place them in the appropriate boxes and flash. reboot into recovery, wipe the cache/data and you should be good. Mine took quite a while after hanging on the Boost mobile splash screen, but about 3 reboots later, it brought me to the configuration screen. It's up, running and I even got the OTA software update, but then again, it is stock.

The phone of my girlfriend has been stuck in a bootloop for a few days. It happened while she watched a video. Apparently at the same time she got a message that her phone ran out of space. Then it crashed and has been stuck in the loop since then. Her phone is not rooted. She did restore the device to default settings using recovery mode. This didn't do anything however.
I've tried using ODIN 3.12.3 to flash the newest rom from sammobile since her carrier is T-Mobile. I followed a guide from adnroid central since I never had done anything like this before. It all worked as far as ODIN goes but is still stuck in the bootloop. I'd link the guide but I need 10 posts before I can include outside links.
I'm not sure what the next step would be. If I should try an older ODIN version or use a different stock rom. Before the whole incident her android version was 6.0.1 I believe. Also in the download mode the product name is SMG-900T.
I hope someone can point me in the right direction on what to do. Thank you!
