Root is available and twrp is available as well eventhough its in chinese
I said before, for have good TWRP, and working, for Honor 7:
1) Download this file : https://mega.nz/#!LkwWQBLa!m64TEV30Z4UiPfhv27tx5LfAo9dA2GTChHyxcQtTmZM (File is : ui.zip / 26.5 Mo )
This is one theme, in English, for, the only one working TWRP running for Honor 7.
2) On your phone, create one folder, "TWRP" inside internal memory, in the root.
3) Inside, of "TWRP" folder, create another one folder, that you call "theme", inside put it the "ui.zip" file without rename. Of Course, the theme will uncompress, during working.
!!! Use only this recovery :
https://mega.nz/#!a0wjAJ7a!wmDLq8Cz4Kfb5a01z3K-xsTrDWBO2lVv8Nxym7qHtkM for the moment is only this one working (File is : twrp_cn.img / 8Mo )
It's chinese, but with the theme, I gave you before, you don't care, because your have one TWRP working in English.
4) Flash this recovery, and only this one !!!
5) After that you will have one good recovery on your phone.
NB: Source in French is : http://www.jeuxvideo.com/forums/42-...honor-7-unlock-bootloader-root-rom-custom.htm but Google Translator can help you in this hard "Way..." Easy for me because... I'm French... LOL
If you have the time to say "Thank You" to the source, as well , Thanks for US.
If Not, Or if you don't want subscribe to the French Forum. I can say, thank you for you, and I will transmit, to the French WebSite.
But, don't forget, if this post can help you, to make more, don't forget to say thank you

OK, now I got it. You need to press and hold Power & VolUp & VolDown & SpecialKey.
That brings you to TWRP. Just holding Power & VolUp, as normal, boots up "Huawei eRecovery".

LOL! Sorry I had too. Someone needs there Coffee You copy the rom to your phones storage like where your pictures,Music, and stuff are at. They didnt say anything about a storage folder.
and 2. Download an app called reboot recovery in the market place
You should be cautious when flashing anything if you were looking for a "Storage" folder.

LOL I know, I feel like a total noob for even asking. I have to have instructions literally step for step or else I lose confidence and don't follow through. I'm coming from an SGS2 that I rooted and messed with for the 1st month and never flashed anything since, so I'm pretty much starting over with this ROM stuff. Thanks for the help though!
EDIT: I'm gonna ask another noob question: Do I copy just the img file or the META & System folders too?

Dude! Never be afraid to ask (but if the answers are on the website and you didn't do a proper search, expect flame on!).
Anyway, assuming you are on AT&T, you should have downloaded a file called CleanROM-1.1.zip . If you didn't get that one, go here http://www.scottsroms.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=464 and download it. Check the MD5 to ensure the file is not corrupt. Do not unzip the file! Just transfer the file onto your phone - it doesn't really matter where, just remember where you put it. Then reboot into recovery (assuming you have already installed TWRP) using whatever app you like (I prefer GooManager), click Install, navigate to the rom you just put on your phone and you're good to go.
Good luck!

KitKat Write to ext_sd FIX
Sometimes when you edit the build.prop and restart your phone, the changes you have made in the build.prop are gone.
This zip must be flashed through recovery, custom recovery of course.
After flashing this, your apps will be able to read/write on external memory. Apps like Titanium Backup for example, or any app that needs to read/write the external memory of the device.
For example in Titanium Backup you can set your external memory as the default storage for backups, this way saving some internal memory.
INSTRUCTIONS
Put the zip on your sdcard
Go to recovery
Click Install
Choose /external_sd
Click on KitKat Write to ext_sd FIX
Swipe to confirm Flash
These instructions are for TWRP recovery, but in CWM it's pretty much the same.
Thanks to @TEKHD for making this for SAMSUNG devices.
I just ported this to HTC and modified the platform.xml
Should work on both stock and custom rooted ROM's.
NO S-OFF required.
WARNING :
I am not responsible for any damage to your device while installing this, proceed at your own risk.
This zip was tested on a HTC ONE M8 device.

You should add info that You are not the one who tested it first even, xseroboy - that's what you should have in your profile. You better write step by step tutorial, as it will take less time to change the file by hand, than it will take to flash the file.... or should I say, copy it from the original?

Hello All,
Since kitkat 4.4.2 was released on the Galaxy Note 3, many users were unable to write files to the External SD Card. Below is a simple fix for rooted users on the Galaxy Note 3 N9005 ( International Snapdragon Variant).
**Please be advised that I have only tested this on my personal N9005. However, you are free to test it on your own devices at your own risk!! **
1. Using a root-enabled file manager, navigate to /system/etc/permissions
2. Edit platform.xml and find the WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission.
3. Add an additional group definition for this permission...<group gid="media_rw" />
4. Save the changes to the file.
5. Restart.

Hello all a6020a46 users like me.
I have here a way to update the phone to S155, the official Lenovo update for Android M (6.0.1), which is only released in some countries in South America. Although I'm on Brazil, my version is not the a6020l36, but the a6020a46.
It's all pretty simple to do and you can do from any ROM, but I recommend that you be on the last available stock (I made it from AEX 4.1 and had no problems). Everything will be done from a backup made by TWRP
Tutorial:
1- Download the backup here: Android File Host
Or here: MediaFire
2- Unzip somewhere and copy to root of any storage.
p.s. If you have any saved updates, copy the TWRP folder from your mobile phone to somewhere on your PC and delete it before copying TWRP from the update.
3- Enter Recovery mode and make a Full-Wipe (Be careful not to delete the partition where the backup is saved).
4- Go Restore and select the update (1970-06-18--19-03-18 ...) and select ONLY Boot and System. Deselect all and select Boot and System only.
SELECT ONLY BOOT AND SYSTEM!!!!
5- System reboot.
p.s. If the phone takes too long to start, remove the battery for some time and try again, I had to do this.
I hope it works for everyone as it worked for me. It had few changes in the interface, but had many bugs solved. I recommend to test and see for yourself.
None of this would be possible if Aleph Scalioni had not backed up the update for us.
So, thank you very much Aleph Scalioni :highfive:

No, inside the compressed file is the TWRP folder. It should be placed directly on the root of internal or external storage. Putting it inside the TWRP folder you will get TWRP/TWRP/Backup/... and TWRP will not recognize it.

You need to rename the folder inside the backup to match your phone "serial" (make other backup and copy the code) , so twrp can see the backup.
If this works hit that thanks button:good:
@MaxPresi I think you forgot to mention that this ROM doesn't support VoLTE..
1 . Create a minimal backup
2. Replace the files on your backup (the final folder, where the individual files are) with the files from backup you've downloaded
3. Install ONLY system and boot [installing firmware will result in error]

Ice, where exactly did you get the file. I have been trying for weeks to get Androxyde to add support (reached out to him by twitter)
Is there a forum or something? or did you figure it out yourself? if so how/where? I may need to know for future reference.
AND MANY THANKS. I got my fingerprint reader back!

After downloading, extract it, you will now have a “folder G82XX“.
Now open latest version of flashtol which you have downloaded. Once all scripts are loaded, you will see: Loaded 94 devices.
Now copy the “folder G82XX” to %userprofile%\.flashTool\devices (copy this to “RUN”).
Now open flashtool, click: Device – Manage – Import, you will see: Loaded 95 devices.

"You probably don't/didn't own a Mediatek-based Xperia device, flashing them without the FSC scripts will result in a failed flash and a hard bricked phone in 99% of cases, and the other 1% are the lucky ones where the flashing fails but the phone is left in a somewhat recoverable state..."
I wonder how you respond to this comment

My respond to it https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-m5/help/help-comfirming-related-to-flashing-t3625133 , somebody need to confirm! On booth tools I newer used any fsc script and nobody bricked its phone with newflasher or xflasher, but allso nobody tried to flash it on mediatek based phone, so somebody need to try and confirm it. Again I continue to believe that fsc is uneeded at all! Please read all conversations between me and Androxyde to understand why I mean all this! I'm still continue to believe that flashtool had an bug which caused hard bricks on mediatek devices (again need somebody try my tools and confirm negative)

What do you mean by "Copy this to RUN" ?
Also, I see 99 devices (v0.9.23.2) and the folder G82XX already exists, although it has 2 files in it instead of 3...
