Can't boot into recovery - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I flashed several recoveries on my S5.
When I try to boot into the recovery (either with VolUp+Home+Power or with adb reboot recovery),
on the top left corner 3 lines are show with:
RECOVERY BOOTING
Recovery is NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
Set Warrenty Bit : recovery
and the logo.
After 5-10 seconds it continues to a black screen and I have to disconnect the usb cable and the batterie to turn it of.
I tried This but it didn't help.
The option mentioned in This video was also disabled.
I tried the following recoveries, non of them worked, all with the same error as above, some of them even throw me right back into download mode:
CF-Auto-Root-hlte-hltexx-smn9005.tar
CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltexx-smg900f
CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltedx-smg900f
openrecovery-twrp-2.8.5.0-gt-klte
openrecovery-twrp-2.8.4.0-klte
openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.0-klte
k3gxx
philz_touch_6.57.8-klte.tar
openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.0-klte
philz_touch_6.26.2-klte.tar
As for my OS, it's stock with the following details:
Modellnr: SM-G900F
Android-Version: 5.0

Kernel-Version: 3.4.0-4920185

[Q] Attempting to root N9006, stuck on recovery bootloop

Hey fellas,
This is my 1st time trying to root a phone, please forgive my total ignorance
I am having an impossible time rooting my galaxy note 3
SM-N9006 (Chinese)
Android ver: 4.4.2
baseband: N9006ZCUEND1
I tried several methods, mainly ODIN with " n9006-cwm-recovery-6.0.3.7(0922)-fix-adb"
the problem is that every time I have to reboot the phone in recovery mode, I get:
RECOVERY BOOTING (in blue),
RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING (red)
Set Warranty Bit: recovery (yellow)
and it bootloops till that. ( root de la vega, kingo, ODIN, etc... same problem, grrrr!)
I am guessing that's because I am using the wrong firmware to flash my phone
I just want to install Google play store ( Chinese note 3 blocked it, some bull****!!!!) and customize my phone
any suggestion?
luv u guys, keep up the good work
EDIT : It's works ! Just use the SM-N9505 CF-Root :
http://download.chainfire.eu/352/CF-Root1/CF-Auto-Root-hlte-hltexx-smn9005.zip
I have the same problem. Impossible to root my Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9006). If I try to root my phone with Odin, I have bootloops.
In the download mode I have :
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SM-N9006
CURRENT BINARY: Custom
SYSTEM STATUS: Official
REACTIVATION LOCK(KK): OFF
KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0x0
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x1
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE (CSB)
RP SWREV: S2, T2, R2, A3, P2
WRITE PROTECTION: Enable
WDC START
Nobody can help us? Thanks.
Did you?
Did you finally fix your problem? I got the same problem now, dunno what to do next

I had the same problem with 9005
Used CF Auto root via Odin
and had the problem you described
Pulled and replaced battery
Rebooted to download( Power,Volume Down and Home then volume up)
Flashed custom recovery via odin
Rebooted phone
Now rooted with custom recovery and all worked fine.
Copied custom ROM to SD card
Rebooted to custom recovery
Flashed Custom ROM and all working fine.

Phone can't boot into recovery and download mode after rooting

I just bought an S5 today just for flashing custom roms and it still running on stock 4.4.2. I tried rooting it by Odin and CF-auto root file and it said PASS. But then my phone stuck in the Samsung GALAXY S5 screen with RECOVERY BOOTING in blue , RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING in red and Set Warranty Bit : recovery in yellow. Whenever I try to to boot to download mode , recovery mode, or normal boot , it shows the same. Any solution? Thank you:crying:
Read my friend. If it wasn't correct carrier . You possibly flashed the wrong root method. It's fixable . Just read through the correct forums the answers are there

just found out download mode is working , and everything become easy now , thanks a lot!

Need Help With Rooting G900F 6.0.1

Hello, this is my first post.
Introduction
So today & yesterday I tried rooting my stock ROM, Android M 6.0.1 G900F Galaxy S5 but I've had a few problems with it.
Details
I think I've done everything correctly to try to flash TWRP onto my phone:
Downloading the lastest version of TWRP-klte (I've used 3.0.2-1 & 3.0.2-2)
Unticking 'Auto-Reboot' in Odin (I've used Odin3_v3.09 & Odin3_v3.10.6)
Pull out the battery to get out of download mode, etc.
But nothing seems to work. When I go into download mode it tells me:
Code:
[B][COLOR="Red"]ODIN MODE[/COLOR]
[COLOR="Black"]PRODUCT NAME: SM-G900F
CURRENT BINARY: Custom
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
REACTIVATION LOCK: OFF
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x0[/COLOR]
[COLOR="DimGray"]QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE (CSB)
RP SWREV: S1, T1, R1, A1, P1[/COLOR]
[COLOR="Blue"]SECURE DOWNLOAD: ENABLE[/COLOR]
[COLOR="Red"]UDC START[/COLOR]
[/B]
To my understanding I find it weird that it says my Current Binary and my System Status say 'Custom' but my KNOX is still 0x0.
Now, of course before I tried to flash TWRP it said I my Current Binary and my System Status said 'Official'.
What I Think Is The Problem
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the problem is that UDC START part in the download mode.
I've read online that some people get that when their phone is in a bootloop but I have no problem with my phone.
Conclusion
In conclusion I think that the problem may be resolved by factory restoring my phone, but if you have any other ideas, please reply to this thread.
Thanks.
None of those steps would root your phone though
TWRP is a custom recovery, once you've flashed that, you need to boot into TWRP, and flash SuperSU 2.xx beta (xx = whichever is the latest version)
Then you can reboot into Android and should be rooted

The problem is that it won't let me flash TWRP. I have SuperSU on my device ready to be flashed but I need to get TWRP working.
Ah I see, and you are booting straight into recovery after replacing the battery?
1. Disable auto reboot & Flash TWRP
2. Disconnect USB & Pull battery to power off once flash is complete
3. Replace battery and boot immediately into TWRP
TWRP 3.0.2.0 Klte is the version I use

Yes I booted once into recovery straight after flashing and it never worked.
Now I have to use ADB because it's a bit finicky and it wont always boot into recovery by doing Volume Up + Power.
I'll try using 3.0.2.0 and see what happens.
Edit: I just tried with Odin 3.09 & TWRP klte 3.0.2.0, still no luck. Also couldn't boot into recovery with buttons, had to use Volume Up + Power.

Recovery is not seandroid enforcing, Set Warranty Bit : recovery (0) [G532M][6.0.2]

So, I tried flashing the recovery mode with the files from a tutorial, supposedly for this exact model
Aaaand it totally didn't work, my device didn't brick but I cannot enter recovery mode, it just says:
RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
Set Warranty Bit : recovery (0)
Aside of that, I can use it normally, but I can't seem to be able to root it without flashing.
What happens?

Start at the beginning .
What model do you have >> Boot to download mode and check the model number .
This reads as wrong model recovery flashed .
How did you Flash TWRP tar or zip .
What TWRP is it .
thank you
