Updated N910C to 5.1.1 few weeks ago, it was running all fine but for the past couple of days I am noticing this weird behaviour where the phone hangs for a while and shows the blank screen (wallpaper) for a second and then the phone is locked. When you unlock it you're shown the screen you were on before.
Can anyone confirm if they have the same issue? Any suggestions would be appreciated too. Thanks!
deja-vu? you allready posted this in the 5.1.1 problems and issues topic AND you got a reply to fix it.

Can't see another thread for it, but my unlocked HTC One has just downloaded and installed OTA 4.4.2 update.
Phone is totally standard, so no problems encountered as I know some people have on other handsets.

Hello,
since I have update my note 4 to lillipop 5.1.1, I am expiriencing a bug. When I'm typing SMS my phone freezes for a few seconds, then flashes to the desktop (without any icons or toolbar on it), goes to black screen and then back to SMS like nothing happend. I wonder is this just me?
Is it even related to the update, or is it anything else?
Best regards,
bukovnik

Not a bug.
Ether you got a bad rom or just a bad flash. I am running 5.1.1 and its more stable and smooth then any of it's previous builds so just try and reflash or find another 5.1.1 rom.
5.1.1 rom is by far the best in my opinion.

How did you update your Note 4? I never use OTA because it will cause many problems, mostly lag, battery drain... Download firmware from sammobile and flash through odin, everything is different. If you are experienced on cooked róm, try some on Note 4 development topic
Statement post. Not a question.
I have seen many famous Roms on this site showing older 5.0.2 history versions on google, but when
I follow those links, they redirect to the updated 5.1.1 versions.
Please post and Sticky any 5.0.2 ROMS for S6 Edge below. (There are people who still need them..)
I can not find any working download links. My Japan Softbank carrier did not update to 5.1.1.
I need 5.0.2 Roms please. I see history of them on google. I can find no such working download links.
Thank you.
My phone model is sm g925z. I would be willing to test any phone version, of 5.0.2
I Found CarHD 5.0.2 digging on google. for anyone else who may need it.
I will test it now and report on the status after.

SimpleRom 5.0.2 link
Testing now also.
https://mega.nz/#F!CYFX1TZQ!Sa10c0z-6R4a8uTsi9CWGA
both failed to connect to wifi or cell service.
both were full of crashes.
do not bother trying.
I tried a third 5.0.2 Rom. a sm g925i model, it could connect to wifi only.
but it would crash when trying to connect to the phone app.
if I can get anything working with the new rom, I will post links if I get anything working.
probably the junk will not work.
Thread close.
Please do not post dupliocate threads for the same problem.
Thanks

Hello I'm having an issue with my Note 4, it is a device I love but I feel I may be forced into changing to a cheap cheap phone
All of a sudden my smartphone randomly restarts and gets stuck in an everlasting bootloop, I have to remove battery to be able to shut it down and have it boot up.
It is all stock apart from the updates Samsung asks every now and then.
I'm a scrub and this matter
The battery is relatively new, original working for under a year. 7 months maybe.
This is my phone, there are many like it but this one is mine!
Thanks in advance for any advice given
Eki
Problem solved my friends,
my note4 is pretty much alive, battery died after 7 months. A new one sorted it out.
Thanks all
Hi to everybody, I bought a sm-n910F on ebay from a 100% positive feedback seller. First time I turned on the device I realise it was slow. After I upgraded it began to reset automatically as many of you wrote in this thread. I wondered, if I change the stock rom with a custom one, will I solve this issue? Or if I flash a marshmallow firmware before this last update will I solve the issue? Another question still, can I flash a lollipop firmware if I find? Sorry for all these questions and thanks in advance. I look forward your answers.

Hello!
Please consider opening a new thread next time if you are facing problems or other thing you want to "share" on XDA. I'm not a moderator, but I think it's useful for us all to keep this forum clean and clear.
But let's go to your problem.
In principle, I guess that flashing any firmware made for your phone will resolve your issue. No matter if it's a custom ROM, the stock ROM or any other ROM no matter its Android version. But keep in mind that it has to be the proper firmware for your device! (Otherwise you will most likely soft brick it)
Downloading right now.
Mike
I'm in the United States and I got 7.1.1 last night ?
got it today also
Yep, it's finally here, downloading.
This is already HERE
