Hi I just bought a Note 4 910G. I have rooted it with CF auto root, no issues. The problem started when I tried to install custom recovery. I tried flashing TWRP from ODIN and had no luck with the error surrounding NAND write. From what I have read this is pretty bad. I can boot into the phone where I have touchwiz, I can unlock the phone access settings but I can't use the home button to access home screen, when I do acees it from unlock It is just a black screen. Please help as this is an expensive brand new phone. Can I send into Samsung for repair.

Hi everyone. I was attempting to update the firmware on my note 3 using the Verizon software assistant when my son unplugged the phone when it was a little more than halfway done. It's unlocked with Verizon as the original carrier, SM-900V is the model number. I've tried to master reset as well but it just turns off briefly and returns to the same screen, the only other screen I can get to is a warning telling me that downloading a custom OS can cause critical problems and to press volume down or up to continue or cancel. When I press up it says Downloading, don't turn off target but it just stays there. I'm not knowledgeable when it comes to rooting or installing custom OS and such things but I'd just like to restore it back to factory 4.4.2 which it was running previously. Can someone help me out with a relatively simple explanation as to what to do? It's much appreciated, just got this thing yesterday and I'd like to get it up and running asap. Thanks again.
Connect it to Samsung kies and perform an emergency repair.
Alternatively go to sam firmware.com and download the correct firmware you require and flash it using odin un download mode ( the screen that you saw that said downloading)
So recently I have put myself in a sticky situation where I have bricked my s6 edge + By a stupid attempt to remove root through the supersu app. I have wiped the phone with the stock recovery options and it still wont boot. I am unable to get into download mode for some unknown reason so i can't just Odin a new os or whatever (as you can probably tell I have a very basic knowledge on phone rooting etc..) To make things even better is that my volume up button is broken but sometimes work if you smash it!

Hi there. I have a galaxy note 3 stuck in bootloop after trying to recover data using dr fone. I am not that savvy when it comes to phones but have tryed the recovery options ie pressing volume power etc.
Which method did you used for recovering data?

What data were you trying to recover? What you need to do at this point is try to get your phone to boot up. I would suggest going back to stock with Odin
Hello. I was working on a phone, an samsung galaxy s5 (chinese version) sm-g9006v and I tried to root it in order to add playstore and more to the device.
However, I used odin and a CF-autoroot file for this device.
After that the device went in a blocked white screen with a chinese log and on top left it wrote "set warranty bit recovery" and some other text.
Waited a bit since I thought it was a phase that was required for the root process to continue but it didn't do anything for a few good minutes, however i proceded to remove the battery (since the power button wasn't helping to reset the device) and now it won't start and it won't enter in a download state to use odin to eventually flash something else onto it.
Any help is appreciated as I'm kind of desperate at this point. Thank you.
Edit: if I connect it to the pc it gets in a start-up loop i believe.

Use Samsung KIES 3 and select "Emergency Firmware Recovery" or "Firmware Upgrade and Initialization". This worked for me even after a botched recovery flash that prevented me from going into Download mode.

I don't know much about rooting and flashing and other things because it's not my cup of tea. Coming to the point, yesterday I followed a guide to root my Samsung Galaxy E7 using the CF Autoroot flash file. But things didn't go well, after a few seconds of starting flash process using the Odin tool, my phone lost connection with the PC. Odin was still flashing the file but when I checked the log it said removed. I noticed that my phone's download mode is also got stuck. So I got panicked and pressed vol down + power + home to hard restart the phone, and then my got stuck on Emergency Recovery Screen (I forgot to take the photo of the message flashing on that screen). Currently my phone's battery is drained and its resting.
So please tell me if there's any way to fix my phone. A simple method please because I don't know much about these things. And another is that whether my data is still safe or erased.
