[Solved] installing CloudyG2 3.3 on F320 ? - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
Anyone succeeded flashing CloudyG2 3.3 on any F320 variant ? I have F320K and I already changed my bootloader to Kitkat with Bootloader Changer 2.2 when coming from Stock 4.4.2 but still I'm getting the black screen after the LG logo ? how you guys install cloudy on your F320 variants ? Do I need any custom kernel or something ? what am I missing here ? really appreciate any help...
P.S: instead of using Bootloader Changer 2.2. I directly flashed KK bootstack using TWRP. go to Navx's thread and go to "Simple Bootstacks" links and choose F320k (your variant) and flash it directly with TWRP. ( I used TWRP 2.8.7.1 bumped ) after flashing KK bootstack, reboot to recovery again and install the cloudy G3.3 rom.. clear cache and .. restart the system..... done !

Thanks you!!!!

do not know what I was going crazy, I sell LG G2 version F320 and did not understand why I sometimes worked rom and some not. The boot multicharger my juice
I'll save many hours of testing. Even with backups bootloader other mobile copied try and nothing. really thank you very much for sharing your experience

Thanks, you saved me too!
btw, the md5 hash files doesnt match the zip files (at least for the f320 kk file), so twrp didnt let me flush the zip while the md5 file existed in the same directory.

I got a G2 F320L which already has CloudyG2 3.0 and TWRP. Should I just flash the new 3.3 version or there are some other things to be taken care off first?

Help! System takes more than 21GB!

Guys I was on SKROM for a while. Then I reverted everything by flashing tot and kdz and then now i flashed latest OptimusG3. But see how much space the system takes up!!
I have the d802 32gb model. Any help please? Who else is using OptimusG3 rom is this a bug or??
Edit: went back to full stock. screw this i will stay on stock kk without root and wait for official lollipop.
PS: G3 ROMs are not safe either cause your G2 thinks they are D855 (G3).

I got an email saying you mentioned me, so I rushed in to see if I could help but it seems like you got it sorted.
I think it's the lollipop ROM that's to blame, since it messes with the system partitions and partially replaces D802 files with F320 files. It's nothing like a normal ROM and that's why I have advised against flashing those lollipop ports
But like you noticed, flashing a kdz restores your original partitions
P. P. S -G3 roms are safer since they do not change partitions at all. The D855 thing is just a matter if build.prop not being adjusted accordingly.

[Q/help] blisspop 3.5 from stock lollipop d802t

Hi all
Didn't want to post in the official devs thread so I thought here would be most appropriate
I fresh installed kdz for 5.02 on my Australian lg g2 d802T with root and twrp. All good.
I tried to install blisspop 3.5 using the instructions
Boot into twrp,
Install bootstack 802 from lg devs
Install ROM
Install gapps
However after all this I have endless boot logo for blisspop.
Anyone have any ideas?

Hmmm you flashed a d802 bootstack correct? Don't you need a special d802T modem? I get a bootloop when I use a d802 modem on my d806 (same device, similar but not identical modem).
I realised had to wipe system and data first. Whoops.
Lg g2 so complicated to flash compared to nexus 5

How to localized or convert lg g2 f320l to lg gd d802

Good day sirs? any1 knows HOW TO LOCALIZED OR CONVERT LG G2 F320L korean variant TO LG G2 D802 international ? ive seen some videos in youtube but no links found or any solution. hope any1 could help
got myself a f320l
don't think you really can convert it to a d802
there are a few roms you can flash on f320l , like cloudyg2 etc
with this you got a international rom instead of the korean rom
of you are trying to flash ah lollipop version of cloudy or any other custom stock rom , plz flash first the correct bootloader , otherwise you wil end in a bootloop
there are 2 ways to flash the bootloader , first is with aroma installer , where you can select your device (f320x) and the bootloader you want
second is a flashable zip file with one bootloader (you need to download the correct zip with the bootloader you want in this case
!!!!!! always take the zip with the one bootloader!!!!
, the aroma bootloader will not work for flashing kitkat bootloader on the f320) don't know why , is should be supported and indeed flash something , but still bootloop with this way )
bootloaders can be found on the forum , there are 2 links in that topic , one with the aroma and one with the individual zips
to bad there are not any custom kernels for f320 lolipop roms
so I stay on cloudy 2.2 kitkat rom with DorimanX kernel

LG G2 w/ no ROM installed. Got TWRP and Download Mode working

Hey.
So, I got Windows 10 and tried the *.KDZ method but it gives me the connection error and I couldn't find anything as to how to fix it, so I tried adb sideloader, it only allows me to install custom ROMs I guess? It doesn't work with .kdz files or something I guess.
So, I have TWRP installed, my download mode is working but someone tried to do a "hard reset" and wiped out the SO on TWRP, can anyone tell me what to do now please?
Thanks!
PS: I already got my stock .kdz downloaded from LGs official website.
Which model G2 do you have? Which version of android are you coming from and which did you try to flash? Which version of TWRP do you have and is it bumpted?

Thanks for the help.

Since you have TWRP you can try the method discussed in the link below ..... I recommend you upgrade your TWRP to 2.8.7.3 first though.
