It is not rar, just zip. Read this 2 threads :

One is for rooting via custom recovery, one is for rooting via Odin.

zip can be easly flashed by TWRP.
Here is your answer:
Flash by
Odin:
openrecovery-twrp-2.8.4.0-klte.tar
CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltedv-smg900i.tar.md5
Twrp:
SuperSU.zip
Tar is compatible with odin.

None of the files i add to odin show up but i have solved it...
Thanks for your reply but i managed to get everything going differently... Rooted the phone using the original CF Autoroot method for 4.4. and installed recovery by dowloading the playstore app and installing it via that.
Question - Is it possible to get Philz recovery working? and how about Xposed on Lolipop?

[Q] Root files for n910f 4.4.4

Hi.
I want to root my n910f with Chainfire and keep stock bootloader.
The problem is that on Chainfire's website, the root file to download is for 5.0.1 and I want to keep 4.4.4 version I have the U1ANK4 version.
Do you know how to proceed now? (I briked one n910f in November).
Thank you
Install cwm and flash the supersu zip
Sent from my VZW LG G2
Thank you.
Can I do it with Chainfire 4.4.4 root version with Odin? Any place where I can find this Chainfire's 4.4.4 version?

Of course. Follow this guide starting in the notes #4. You can then upgrade to your desired firmware and keep root.

3.) Than I could flash 4.4.2 or whatever firmware via ODIN?

What firmware do you want to end up on? Lollipop or kitkat?
Flash the NCG file using odin. Root with towel root. Download supersu from playstore. Update it's binaries, then reboot your phone. Install busy box from playstore. Open it and install it. I would install safestrap. You are officially rooted and have a custom recovery. You will be on 4.4.2. You can now boot into recovery and install a custom rom. If it is something other than 4.4.2 you will boot into download mode through safestrap and in odin, flash the correct kernel for that rom (follow the roms op instructions.). You could also use flash fire instead of odin.

It's in the link I gave you. Click on it and it will take you to a download site. Hit begin download and then choose a mirror.
The only links I see you gave me are the link to the guide and the attached Safestrap. I do not see any such links for the NCG, sorry.

Thank you so very much for your help!
I apologize that I did not answer. I don't want to end up on neither of those firmwares. So which firmware? 4.4.2=Jelly Bean.
You can be on 4.4.2, 4.4.4, or 5.0
But is it possible to revert back to old Jelly Bean? 4.3 and up has KNOX where as Jelly Bean and earlier did not have KNOX.
