LTE Bands SM-G9287 - Galaxy S6 Edge+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Good day.
I need to know which bands of LTE does SM-G9287 support. I could not find information on the Internet, and I don't trust eBay sellers with their descriptions. Could anyone please confirm the LTE bands support of this phone model?

Google Nexus 4 - Finally, LTE or NOT?

Hi everyone,
Is Google Nexus 4 finally a fully LTE capable phone or not? and is there any official news from Google that they might patch it to not work with LTE anymore?
Thanks
It technically works on one (I think) band that LTE uses, in Canada, but I think that's it. As far as I know it would need some more hardware to be fully supported on all LTE bands.
TLDR; for realistic purposes, no

Which band is that? 2100Mhz? and if so then it's fully supported in Canada?! ??? Of course all LTE bands are not supported by any phones out there because of differences in USA, Canada, Japan, and Europe...
It's confusing because some news say that LTE antenna is needed and more hardware components so I don't understand why one of the bands work when hardware components are missing. Of course, it is not LTE when only the name LTE shows beside the signal and speed is not great.
I think it would be best if someone can post their speeds on Rogers, Bell, Fido, and Telus and let us know if LTE really works.
Well that thread already exists:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2007943
It only works on LTE band 4 and Google has already said they cannot update the phone to work on the rest of the LTE bands as the hardware is not in the phone. Band 4 is there by default in the LTE chip.
What is LTE Band 4? Can you please explain a bit.
Thanks

Look what F240S can has in attachment. So I think it supports 1900 band. As well as F240K. And F320S/F320K will work with 1900 to
Best way for your is to ask people which have korean G Pro at hand to make you screenshots of their bands by menu 5457#*240#

Thanks, this is helpful.
However I am torn between which band would be more useful to me, 850 or 1900 (I live in a rural area). I can live with 3G but not 2G,
UPDATE: A G2 with model number F320S was listed on eBay saying it supports HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100 in the description. I messaged the seller to make sure it was not a mistake, and he assured me that the device does support these 3G frequencies and that it would get 3G signal on carriers Canada.
Just got this phone. I am in US and need to know where you went to get those setting. Currently only getting 3G
Thanks

What carrier are you with? You should only get 3G, since none of the LTE variants that work in the US are released yet.
Yes thank you, I am getting 3G on AT&T. Battery is very cooperative on 3G. Every time I dial a voice call the phone thinks I am in Korea ...can not find any setting in phone for region, any chance you might know how to change regions? The phone is very ergonomic, probably the moist ergonomic I have used.

MoreLocale 2 in the app store seems to do the trick but I don't have an lg g2 to test it. I guess you need to root it first and grant superuser permissions because of the way jellybean handles it.I came up with this thru a couple Google searches so its untested.
I'm tempted. I'm on straight talk in the USA. If it worked, tell me as a thanks cause I kinda want to get it. I wonder if it supports tmobiles hspa+42 network. I use a T-Mobile straight talk sim card...., it runs off of T-Mobile's network but I pay straight talk but no LTE.
I will give it a try. First I need root, do you know where I can get root for the LG G2?

No info on the 320L
Thanks. That clears a lot up. It is good to see 2 models with a large range of bands.
It really is amazing how many websites had bad info.

Along the same lines, does anyone know what the model number is of the G2 that works on Verizon bands?

I doubt it, where do you get this bands? native Korean models never had LTE 2600 supported, so that must be fakes

I can confirm the LTE 2600 supported. I'm using the SK version in Hong Kong and can use both LTE 1800 and LTE 2600 with this phone.

Dial 5457#*320# and look for Band selection menu. Don't tinker with it, just make please screenshots 4 us pressing and holding "power+vol.down"
Then LTE channels screenshots will be appreciated too. The more the better

[Q] ZUK Z1 in Canada (4G)

So i am considering buying this phone, but I have only 1 concern about lte on this website: http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_230088.html it says that 4f bands are only:FDD-LTE 1800/2100/2600MHz, so will it work in Canada?? I checked http://maps.mobileworldlive.com/ and It only compatable with 2100, no 1700 is it fine if I only have 1?
Help please!!!
Bump!!
Bump!

Any canadians??
I have ordered the international version and I did some research and basically the bands are dependant on what your network is broadcasting on. If you google what frequency/band your provider is broadcasting on then cross-reference it to the ones supported then you'll know if it works.

Carriers use more than 1 band cause the don't have full coverage with only 1 so sometimes you should have LTE coverage and sometimes don't , I'm in the same dilemma the phone is really good but not having the LTE bands used in US is a deal breaker, I'm waiting to October cause its supposed to be officially released to the US and maybe they'll release a revised version with the LTE bands used here.

Can you check it? Three use 1800 band and have launched their 800 band recently(not wide spread at the moment) which would improve their indoor 4G coverage, EE already use 800/1800 bands,
I think you can probably check in the service menu.
Mine hasn't come yet, I got scammed on zukphone.cc by a PayPal account called [email protected]. PayPal are investigating but my Dad has a OnePlus One and he has 4G on Three so I can only assume it will work.
Any Canadians bought it???
FWIW, I just checked bands/frequencies and as far as I understood even the international version of the ZUK Z1 (weird that their english web-site is at zuk.hk and the chinese web-site is at zuk.com) won't work on Telus/Koodo.

Afaik, the "international" version of the phone is identical to "chinese" version. Only difference is OS preinstalled (Cyanogen OS for international). So basically, it should work in EU, Asia, Australia etc, but not in the US or Canada (of course depending what bands you need).

Oh, I thought I've read somewhere that the International version will sacrifice some of the TDD-LTE bands for more of the FDD-LTE bands, so besides the OS difference I also expected different bands support.
Anyways, the specific band for the network I'm using doesn't seem to be supported. And it's one of the top 3 providers in Canada.
Bump to see if anyone has got it working in canada and with which company.

LTE in USA on G900F?

Hey guys.
I've come from UK to the USA for two months and am looking for a network that will have 4G LTE bands that will work on my G900F. Alternatively, is there any way to enable those bands? I've searched all over but couldn't find anything useful.
Thanks.
