Hi, I was watching 'straight outta compton' on my mobile and I noticed that whenever there is a dark scene (mostly black background), the background goes fuzzy. I also noticed it on many other videos on youtube/BBC iPlayer whilst playing 1080P. I also played straight outta compton on my other mobile and I didn't have this issue. When the background goes fuzzy in the videos it is very hard to watch and is annoying. Does anyone else have this problem?

I recently bought the AV cables for my tab and i absolutely love it. Only issue so far is the fact that i have to keep the screen on while the video is playing on both the TV and tab. If i turn off the screen then its replicated on my TV. I know with some video players you can adjust the brightness right from the app. But some apps, like the youtube player, dont have this option. Is there an app out there that can dim the screen so the screen almost looks off? Even if video is playing? That would be great. Please let me know if such an app exists. Ill keep searching.
Edit
This was kind of a dumb question because there are plenty of dimmer apps on the market. Basically i want the screen to be black and yet output a signal to my TV. Is this possible?

I have a 32 gb s4 from att. I noticed while surfing on chrome in the dark that there are some lines running sideways on my s4 while looking at the grey screen after you close everything out. Again. Dark room grey screen from chrome. Anyone else have this? I returned 2 and they all had them.
I also noticed the lines while watching dark scenes on Netflix. The is one going down the center(when phone is in landscape mode) and one in between the center and home button. It almost looks like burn in.
anyone?
I have a Telus GS4 and noticed a weird issue today, when I hit the youtube app icon my screen flickers briefly just before youtube opens. It is not noticeable when the brightness is set to high but on low it is very noticeable. This is the only app that does this aside from my TD banking app which was doing the same thing but while I was using it. Anyone else notice this? Did a reset and tested the light sensor and it seems fine but the screen still flickers.
Today i noticed a weird Vertical banding. It is really irritating me.. What can it be?
Well i set the auto brightness to 100% and opened a 1080p movie on Youtube.. It looks like there was a long vertical line sleeping, for now it is almost gone (only when playing a movie).. help is advised from you guys.

Hey guys, I was watching a couple of videos on youtube today and one of them, my screen went blue like it was tinted over top of the video. And another one was green. If I close out the videos and load them again, they're ok. I haven't seen it happen with any other apps yet so I'm unsure if it's youtube or the phone itself. Any one else encounter this?
I noticed it also happened when I was using my camera a couple of times. Part of the picture's colour is off. Here is an example.
