Lg G2 lollipop Charging rate ? - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello there,
My international version D802 just came back from the Cloudy rom to the stock jellybean through the tot method, then upgraded through the ota to the latest version of android ( 5.0.2 ) and it has the official v30b rom. The only alteration is that the device is rooted. My issue is that the device seems to charge quite slowly. In the past it was able to fully charge in about an hour and ten minutes in comparison to its current state which seems to take almost two hours. The only thing i have tried so far to do is, to do a factory reset which did not seem to do anything in particular. I'm using the original LG charger which is rated for up to 1800mah . The device also seems to warm up quite a bit during the charging phase. Could that be a potential reason for the slow charging and if yes, what can i do about it?

Hi all,
I got a notification on my G2 D802 to update to 5.0 lollipop a while ago but wondering if its safe to do so. I goggled it and found out that some people had some major issues with battery drain and bad wifi performance. Anyway I proceeded to download the LG PC suite to still give it a try however I got this message on startup. " Android 5.0 Lollipop guide
Date : 2014.11.27
For phone or tablet with Android 5.0 Lollipop or later,
phone or tablet will not back up or restore properly due to security on Android.
Refrain from use.
"
Now I am really thinking twice lol.. Can anyone shed some light on this? Is it safe to update? Can anyone did it before can advice me?
Updated without problems. I even didn't need to do factory reset after update, zero problems. On the other hand, I didn't find any new worthy functionality that I couldn't live without. I like new design of quick switches because I'm partly colorblind and those on KitKat were hard to read for me. And if you need to make selfies in dark there is great function to use white screen as lamp.
Thanks for your reply. If for some reason i dont like it can i roll back through pc suite?

lollipop vs kitkat

am really tired, when i updated to lollipop program take alot of ram space and make some app to re open it again when i returned to it,not save it,so i returned to kitkat but the battery drain fast about 1% every minute.
that crazy so what to do? am not expected that from note 4.
advice plz with abuild version or area which work good,no matter kitkat ot lollipop.
thanks
I also returned back to Kitkat & after returning I reset my Note 4 (factory reset) , and every thing working fine
Lollipop is full with bugs so maybe my next update will be Android M when it will come, I believe Lollipop is a no go with a lot of bugs and issues even the coming 5.1.1

what is your product name and which baseband version u on ?
IR work with u?
my phone is N910H
My Note 4 n-910G is working good on lollipop. I'm on stock non-rooted 5.0.1 and i cant wait to get 5.1.1 (M would be heaven but i'm not holding my breath for it). Lollipop for me is quite fast and just tiny annoying bugs, nothing major. Kitkat 4.4.4 was blazing fast for me before. It's suffered a little after i flashed L but i wont go back now. I'm lucky i haven't got the battery issues i keep hearing about, or those lags/bugs. That would make me throw the phone across the room.
Here's to Samsung to give it's best flagship of late 2014, early 2015 Android M

Have you checked your camera pictures ???
Observe the viewfinder, the way everything looks, it will all show like some paint effect compared to the pictures that came sharp while on kitkat.
Please do compare pictures when on kitkat and after lollipop update.
I have created a new thread on it. Many have not observed their camera picture quality post update.
ok... now i'mma worried. will try it

Ok go back to lollipop and flash the 5.1.1 kuybi rom. It's fast and smooth. It's been debloated and is very good on battery life. It's much better then any of the other lollipop and kitkat. In fact I would go as far to say it's the best lollipop build here on xda for now.

Charging problem

I has just updated my g7-l01 to marshmallow, I noticed that the device takes to much time to charge, is there any solution? Is there anyway to go back to lollipop as marshmallow doesn't afford any new feature.r

Stock firmware for SM-G900A

Hi. I have a G900A whose battery life became terrible. I have done a factory reset AND bought a new battery, and it became better (if before that when I would turn it off for night it will fall from 100% to 86%, now it's to 94%) but still, even with minor usage I have to charge it 2-3 a DAY. My android version is 5.1.1, and after a google search and in sammobile the newest version was 4.4.2, so I thought if anyone has a link to the 6.0.1 version. Thanks!

v20 custom rom installation help needed

Hi, guys, i need some serious help. I have run into trouble.
I have LG v20 and lately, the battery was going very bad giving me SOT of around 3hrs. I searched online and found that a recent Google play services update is messing with phone batteries for a lot of phones and only possible solution at this moment is so to opt for beta Google play services, which i did and it became a disaster. I am now getting SOT of 1hr max and battery goes down quickly. I opted out of beta play services too.
I have never ever done custom rom installation, ever but this recent issue is making me think of doing it now. I have never unlocked bootloader and rest onward procedure. I have been reading the xda but i seem to find only one or two roms for my phone model.
Guys, can you please help me through this? I found some posts regarding the procedure, please let me know if they are the right ones.
1. Unlock Bootloader
2. Rest of steps
Please guide me with the step by step instructions. I am asking this because on many ROM description about the things which can go wrong and they are more than the things that will go right. This scares me.
I found only this rom for my model.

Additional info: I have a Korean LG V20 f800k with android nougat 7.0 and software version f800k10e. I installed oreo via LG UP + Uppercut 6months back and had very horrible battery life just as now, so i reverted back to nougat. I am suspecting that the flashing process didn't go well.
