Stock ROM - Galaxy S3 Neo Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys, I hardly can find any good links( with high speed download ) with Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo *(I9301I) stock firmware.
Can you guys help me find some sites where you can just download it freely, no need to buy premium ?

Sammobile need premium for faster download, free accounts provides only ~50kbps, while my internet speed in foreign countries is like 5-6 mbps

Oh, then there is no such fast service free of cost. Try mrcrab. Search it one the Google. If this site doesn't work too then there is no other authentic one.
By the way, why don't you try any Internet cafe? They have everything thing and speed.

Here's a download link.
It's the XCUAOF1 baseband I found on some German forum, I had the same problem you have now, I installed this with Odin and just changed the language to English when the boot finished and it works well!

It takes ~40 minutes so dont be lazy and just download it.

for sammobile link , use internetdownload manager , its realy fast

I had the same problem. Most times you can buy for low costs an account for 1-2 days. Better than download for more than 7 hours. - my experience

Try in sammobile, those are 100% authentic. Otherwise, try to go to a cybercoffe and download it from it....
Cheers.

I use: http://samsung-firmware.org/model/GT-I9301I/page/1
U could give it a try. Sometimes, it downloads at full speed, but sometimes it's limited to about 150 KB/s

downloading roms

this question i've asked myself over and over again...
why are ROMs dispatched via RS/hotfile/megashare etc?
obviously this takes away the uptime demand (vs torrents) from the first user (ie: the cook), but i see many people re-requesting hosting on another provider because it's overloaded/broken/corrupt.
i dont have too much issue downloading (as a free user) from the upload sites- but they are far from fast and my downloading PREFERENCE isnt with them, i'd personally prefer to see a torrent.
for a start, torrents are checksumed so you know 100% your getting an non-corrupt download the way the cook desired.
just my thoughts

XDA have nothing against providing download links to roms on any site as long as the download link takes you directly to the rom download, i.e. not taking you to homepage of website as this would be advertising or promoting.

Backup mirror for U8800 ROMs, CWMs

EDIT:
I no longer own a u8800, neither will I host the download server in the near future. Better host providers exists than my download server. I still have the files (approx. 15-20GB) if anyone else is interested for hosting, though they are most likely outdated by now.

Hi!
I decided that I will host a mirror for everything related to our U8800 - Ideos X5.
It's hosted at my home. I have 20Mbps uplink on FTTH (fiber). The links below are redundant, each link is hosted on a seperate 20Mbps link. I do have some issues from time to time on server.streznik.org, cause it is updating in my OS, while qrac.zapto.org is updated on my router.
I will try to keep things organized and be online as much as possible (I cant guarantee 99% uptime). I am from Europe, so speeds elsewhere may be a bit slow.
And if I helped you getting a file you could not find elsewhere, use the Thanks button.
Primary: http://qrac.zapto.org/
Secondary: http://server.streznik.org/ Please use this only if the primary website is down
Permanently offline!
I switched to Ubuntu server for hosting the mirror, I will add upload function later.
Update 14.3.2012:
Switched to HFS. Everyone can upload, I will sort files later. Developers are not strangers here aswell. No bandwidth capping.
Update 18.3.2012
Added U8800 PRO section per request
Added some statistics at the bottom of the page
Update 21.3.2012
Wow! Over 200 Absolute Unique Visitors in 2 days reported by Google Analytics!
HFS reports over 1200 IP's connected since I began this little project! Few of them are zombies from China, but still!
Update 23.3.2012
New categories, I grouped them because of the increasing vertical size. It takes a second or two longer to find what you are actually looking for (more clicks), but it makes the whole page more compact.
Also added a graph at the bottom of the page (1.8kB), pink is download and yellow is upload.
Update 28.3.2012
All paid apk's have been removed after consulting with the moderator. Free apk's are allowed to be uploaded, while the paid ones will be deleted immediately, on the second occasion that a user will upload a paid apk, I will ban the IP.
Update 5.4.2012
I have changed my phone to Galaxy S i9000(Huawei never again!). I will still host the mirror, but it might not be updated so frequently.
Update 2.6.2012
I've updated ICS Aurora ROM files, as it is the ROM I keep my eyes on.
... Great news for all u8800 users ..
..just a little notice for you.. remove the ''mystuff'' folder, it contains Warez/Illegal files..

Thanks man! That was much needed... roaming the forums in search of download links can be frustrating at times...

There are some important stuff missing though ... for example, the Ezet .32 ROM is much more recent and bug free than genokolar... but this is shaping up to be my main source of downloads

Wow...I was not expecting replies so fast I will try to find more working links and sort them. I will password protect my stuff, so it does not get in the way I need my stuff

I did not came across that ROM, are you willing uploading the missing files to my FTP server? I will search for it now, but if I dont find a working link, please consider uploading it to my FTP. Thank you!
edit2:
my stuff folder is now password protected, it should not be an issue anymore
Hi there, there is a missing rom.
Void h..p://db.tt/A43YWM7C
Its based on kernel .32 , froyo 2.2.2 and its flawless "there are no known bugs". You dont have a upload button so i leave the link. Cya and keep the server running.
Sorry for the edited link but as a new user i cant post links...

Oh, how could I miss that! Adding it now.
edit:
Added eridanus ROM and ICS 2.0. Still searching for ezet ROM.
I am now working on a upload script.
edit2: ezet CM7 ROM added. Upload script working.
Nice to see you having such work, but you can use a free app named "hfs file server" that is a http server with upload button already included, and other good things like ip update "for services like no-ip".

Please give me feedback on the download speeds. What is your best download speed compared to this mirror?
I tried it on my U8800, I got 2MB/s, not over LAN but Internet. I am worried because I see speeds about 140kB/s, one had 40kB/s. I have overclocked my router for best possible speeds.
I think you are overthinking the speeds of download, let me remind you that a lot of ppl are still atatched to adsl at 12 mb/s even less.
If you browse the forum of hfs you can find little tweaks that can do a little improvment, none the less, i tested and everything went well.
Sorry for the bad english, its not my native language.

I want to offer the best possible speeds to everyone, that means even if there are multiple users downloading, they still get their maximum speed. Mediafire is capping downloading to about 800kB/s, which is 1/3 of my speed. I believe there are more people like me, that want their files asap.

Just a little tip, Mediafire only caps download speed when downloading from the site. If I download through a file manager, I can download at the full speed my connection allows, 1,6MBps...

Well, I am currently having VERY slow speeds around 20kb/s, my internet connection is around 8Mbit/s

Well being few thousand kilometers apart does not help...that is why I mentioned "slow" speeds from those who arent from Europe or near EU.
After all, the main reason I had put up this backup mirror, well so it is backup up. Slower speed is better then no speed. Afaik I made everything as fast as possible.
Relax mate. I am not complaining at all! I actually love this because I downloaded SuperOneClick straight away in a few minutes.. I would have spent more time looking around the forum (and clicking broken links) then it took to download.
Keep up the good work mate. It's very organised.
Any possibility to make a U8800 Pro group as well? And you can post the same info in the Pro thread

I made a simple U8800 PRO section for now, I am not that familiar with PRO, + or -51 version, so I would rather stick with just the normal version, so I dont screw anything up .
Hi. I uploaded U8800V100R001C00B136SP02CUSTC205D001.rar. Its Finland b136 Elisa rom. I also linked your mirror in the ideos wiki.
Hi Ohjaaja!
I added and edited the wiki a bit, thank you for linking it. Moved your uploaded ROM to "Stock ROMs".

[Q] Hotfile Links?

Why is the community hell bent on using hotfile for distribution of firmware it's so frustrating a regular download takes me 2 hours to download on a fibre connection. It's just out right ridiculous.
http://hotfile.com/dl/235908384/30907b5/BTU-I9505XXUBMGA-20130723194213.zip.html
Has anyone got another link to this firmware preferable mediafire or zippyshare?
Nope. Everyone uses Samfirmware's links, they have their stuff on Hotfile. That's it.

Does no one uploaded them to another host?
Obviously not. Perhaps you'd like to pull all of Samfirmware's firmwares from Hotfile & put them up somewhere else for the community ? I'm sure people would love you for it.

I would love too if not for being entirely broke and can't afford a Hotfile premium membership. Which is the reason I started this thread in the first place. If I was infinitely wealthy I would snap up a premium membership.
i hate hotfile = = here my line just 512 kbps......when i download until 60% , i stop it....... then cant continute download , need download from 0% again = =
sry for my bad english XD
Three Thumbs down to Hotfile! Even I was wondering why the community practically uses only Hotfile. The speeds are terrible (~200 KB/s on a 8 Mbps connection i.e. ~1000 KB/s), and a couple of time it just randomly stopped downloading in the middle and failed. The worst was when it downloaded 1.5 GB / 1.5 GB of a firmware file and then just sat there for 30-40 minutes till I had no option but to cancel it. When I downloaded it again, it downloaded full, but when I unzipped it, the files were corrupted!!
The only other place that I have seen firmware files are on Mega.co.nz, and that too sucks!!! (I am surprised at how terrible Mega is). It also randomly keeps failing in the middle for no reason, though it does give better speeds (~800 KB/s on my connection).
Eventually I got my file through Mega, but it took me 15 minutes just to find a link on Mega hosting that particular file.

Stock Note 3 5.x Rom downloads?

I've been looking everywhere for the stock Note 3 rom to download (HLTE in Canada). The only ones I can find to download are all coming from a site that throttles download speed, to the extent that it would take about 6 hours to get 1 rom.
Does anyone know an alternative where to find them?
Sammobile.com or Samsung-updates.com. These are the only two I know that have official Roms.
Yeah, they want you to register and pay or else you get 18kb/sec download...that's dial up

Google samsung firmware downloader. Use v0.35, it's better.

I know sammobile says that, but I think I remember the actual download being around 250 kb/s, so it's not as bad as they say.

Does anyone have a high-speed download for the stock rom? (G950F)

Hello!
I've recently bootlooped my phone and had to switch over to a custom rom because there wasn't a high speed download. And I didn't have time for a 12 hour+ download.
If the answer is no, that's okay!
Cheers

www.updato.com
shell.boxwares.com maxes out my connection at 8MB just search g950f at the top. updato does have a vastly better selection and search filters but slower at around 1MB, still a lot faster tham sam's 15KB for free users though!
