Hi All,
The Australian rom for n9005 is out and was updating it
but i keep on receiving a error in Odin
up to writing the hidden.img.ext4 error comes up saying FAIL!(ext4)
apparently it's a fix by using a pit file
but i've tried multi pit files and still no go
the rom that im coming from is N9005XXUENB7 the German release in Feb
any help would be appreciated
Can I update inu sm g530h lollipop 5.0.2(India) firmware in my Sm g530h bought from uae using Odin??
Will I brick my device?
Im trying to do the same thing but cant figure it out. In odin 3.10.7 i get FAIL (auth) and in 3.09 i get complete(write) operation fail. What do i do??? I tried using both the indian and russian ones on a g530m duos. It only shows 1301 in the binary size. Baseband AOE2
It worked for me ☺

Hi luel_113
You may follow the below Tutorial. Worked flawlessly for me on my SM-G900M
[GUIDE] Extract bootloader and Make flashable ODIN Tar.md5
The files needed to compose your flashable are:
Code:
aboot.mbn
modem.bin
NON-HLOS.bin
rpm.mbn
sbl1.mbn
sdi.mbn
tz.mbn
If you want the Stock Kernel too, as I did, include the below file:
Code:
boot.img
Nice regards and have fun.

I have a SM-G975O w/ android 11 and I'm trying to flash it with SM-G975U firmware using Odin w/ the files from G975USQU1ASBA and it has failed several times. I have OEM unlocking and USB debugging on. This is what I get when Odin fails:
<ID:0/004> FAIL! (Auth)
<ID:0/004>
<ID:0/004> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
and on my phone it says:
SECURE CHECK FAIL : ab1
I don't know if I'm using the wrong firmware or something else. I'm on T-Mobile and I want Wi-Fi Calling to work. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

My wife has the SM-G9750, Wi-Fi Calling on T-mobile works fine. Don't waste time trying to flash SM-G975U firmware on your device, it won't work. Only 3 firmwares are compatible with your device. TGY (Hong Kong), BRI (Taiwan) and CHC (China). TGY is your best option for T-mobile compatibility.

Hi varcor
I'd like replace China firmware with Hong Kong firmware to get more global languages and Google Services preinstalled.
How does firmware replace procedure looks like?
Can I use stock Odin or I need Patched Odin or other software?
Thank you in advanced.
Regards

Looks like standard procedure.
I thought during firmware replacement from one country to another I need to take some additional action.
Thank you again @varcor
