Hi,
A question for note 3 blueetoh . I used to use this Bluetooth audio receiver that comes with 3.5mm, link up with my note 3 for wireless music, in car and in home stereo . Everything was working fine. However, recently i have sold sold my note 2 and replaced with a note 3 N9005 LTE. When i tried the Bluetooth streaming of music, i often hear the distortion sound. Anyone here experience the same thing ? Any solution and tips for that ? Appreciate ur assistance / tips . Thank you !!!

Hello everyone !
I recently bought a P9 lite VNS-L31 and I noticed that audio quality is not very good through a bluetooth headset or a bluetooth speaker when I listen to music. There is some distorsion and it's audible and uncomfortable. I tried to connect various bluetooth audio devices to my P9 lite and the problem is the same. I also tried the P9 lite of a friend, there is the same problem. But there is no problem when I connect my bluetooth headset to my previous phone or to my computer...
Does anyone know this issue ?
Thanks a lot
Never try headset, but BT speaker is working well ,no distorsion ( for me ) maybe you can try an equalizer or somethink like that. I use bass booster ,you can set / adjust your sound. You can get it from play store, no root needed.

Hello !
Thank you for your answer I just tried bass booster but it didn't solve the issue Actually the distortion can't be heard with all musics... For example with this classical song, the distorsion is very present : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRxofEmo3HA
Do you see the problem with this music ?
Thank you in advance
not possible yet, I'll try asap
I have a Plantronics BackBeat (a bluetooth headset) ans I have no music distorsion at all. Did you changes something ? Like activated sws or something ?
Hello everyone !
Thanks for your answers !
I didn't change anything in my settings. SWS is not available with bluetooth...
Maybe you can try the 2 songs attached to this message. With my P9 lite through bluetooth, the distorsion is clear, and more audible when I turn the volume up a bit. It's like a saturation, or an audio interference in the song.
Does anyone see the problem ?
Thanks in advance !

Hi,
I have this exact problem too! When I use my old phone (LG G3) in my car throigh bluetooth ghe sound is crystal clear with good bass. When I connect my P9 lite the quality is awfual, distprtion, loud crackling bass, the treble fluctuates and I have not yet found a solution to get it to the same quality level as my G3.
It ses like there is some sort of preset interal equaliser, but I can't find a way to access it.
Any ideas?
In my opinion, if you are using your phone as your primary source for music playback there is absolutely no way around Viper sound mod. Of course this requires root and permissive SELinux access.
The audio on this device was indeed not good with stock settings. But with the right settings and IRS in Viper it is a blast.

Hi Jt94 !
I am reassured to see that I am not alone in this situation Do you hear a little "tchhhh" like an audio saturation while listening the 2 songs I uploaded yesterday for example ?
Does someone else have the same problem ?
Thanks !
I've try your youtube link, and some others songs from my play list, with my bluetooth speaker, using Poweramp and no problem report. I use BT adapter in my car with stock player, I've got some trouble sometime but ithink it's coming from my tuner.

So I hear this "noise" continuously too. I hope to the manufacturer will fix it. It is very irritating.
I sent an email last week to [email protected] but I still have no reply...

I have the same issue , I tried a wipe data cache and a factory reset but non of this works. Anybody have new information about this issue and how to fix it?
Do a full factory reset. Try it maybe it will solve your problem.
I'm using my Bluetooth Headset everyday and i also have zero problems. perfect sound for me. (cheap mixcder ShareMe 7 BT 4.1 headphones, but good sound for the price ;D - and long battery life). maybe your device is faulty?

Is your phone charging while you're listening to music? Try it without having it charged if so..

Hi,
I have a VNS-L31 with the same problem.
I think it's related to A2DP codecs on Bluetooth: the SBC codec is a poor quality compression that must be available on all devices while AAC, MP3 and aptX are not always present.
However I don't know how to force the use of high quality codecs.
Hey,
I recently switched from oneplus one to mia1 and the first thing I noticed it's the Bluetooth audio quality. I use hi-fi Bluetooth headphones and the quality is kinda bad and the volume is low, this on Bluetooth.. tested in my pioneer system that I have on my car via Bluetooth and it's the same. Kinda disappointed
Help please?
running stock android 8

Hi guys.
A friend of mine who is good into sound stuff, headphones ,dacs etc recommended me this phone just so I can get better sound over bluetooth and other wired headphones.
I used S7 edge with some average bluetooth buds and got average sound.
Now I got this device,in used condition and I think I have even worse sound then with my S7 edge.
Dolby Atmos is enabled and I'm on Android 7.1.
I expected even better sound over speakers, which is nice but kinda lacks a lot of bass, and sound stages.
Even speakers on my tablet Samsung S5e are way much better in sound.
Yeah sound is nice with my Beyerdynamics MMX300 Gen 2 but so is the sound with them on my S7 edge.
I mean I am not impressed at all with this phone so I thought to ask, maybe I need some other ROM,software etc, huh?
Help is appreciated.
I use mostly average quality bluetooth earbuds, and listen to trance music.
I can name the devices if it's important.

Honestly audio quality over 3.5mm jack is so good on this phone that I still havent found a successor to it. Using it as my daily. In order to get best audio follow this:
First disable Dolby Atmos. It really does not improve the sound, more the opposite. Then check in Audio / HiFi settings that "Super" mode is activated. This will enable AKM4490 chip.
Bluetooth Audio depends on your buds and not your phone. Just make sure in developer options that best available codec is activates. On Sony buds you can enable LDAC (needs Andrioid 8.0 or newer) to get best quality. But no bluetooth buds can match the quality of 3.5mm jack on this phone.

I mean I do get good sound over 3.5mm...I thought I will get great sound as well over BT.
All this above is already preconfigured.
Since I purchased used phone, when I plug in headphones into 3.5mm jack, thouse don't go all the way in like on other phones where I can simply feel when the 3.5mm connector goes all the way in.
I suppose I were wrong reagarding bluetooth sound since I mostly use bluetooth headphones.
But thx for help.
