If this notice is true it will be a shame for Samsung's side. They want to put many smartphones and tablets in the market but they can't update all so they invent stories like these. All my android's equipments are Samsung but Tab Pro will be the last equipment from this brand! And i bealive that are more people thinking like me.

I am also never getting another samsung device...if they tease their customers like this. They must just hate repeat buyers. But really, it they did release the update, it would be throttled down to encourage sales of the newer tabs. This is what I believe they did with kk. Why else would the tab s have no lag, and ours have lag on every screen change with the same hardware? Dirty tricks! I am done.
Device Support 3 years. We have to get at least something

Q3-Q4))
From another chart I've seen, the first batch of Samsung tab getting M will be the Tab A. Yes, not the new 4:3 "flagship" Tab S2, not the older flagships Tab S and TabPRO, not our PRO 8.4 which has a Qualcomm SoC and should be easier to maintain, but the lowly Tab A!
I wonder what had gotten into Samsung these days...

I really don't understand them. It's much more easier have 10 devices and update them than have like 100 devices and TRY to update them. It's a shame!
I am not surprised with lack of Samsung devices selling. First Samsung is expensive, Second they just promises about updates and Third KNOX sux!
These is the main reasons to me to abandon Samsung!

So I was just doing some research and it seems that 3.0 HoneyComb is just going to be for tablets. So my question is since it will be released for the tablets is there anyway to take the os to make a phone version or is this not possible. I know all this is premature as most phones don't even have gingerbread yet but the tabs like the g-slate from lg and the dell coming in Q2 its not that far away. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on this topic?

I would imagine a lack of resolution would be the problem or pointlessness in using honeycomb.
If you look at my thread from a week or so ago with the honeycomb and motoxoom preview, a few members mentioned something like that, that some features would make it to a phone version of honeycomb,.... I did some googleing, but couldn't find anything. Fingers crossed though, we live in hope.
Watch the interview with Matias Duarte on Engadget. He says Honeycome is absolutely the future of all Android devices, and it will intelligently scale itself to provide the best experience per form factor.
The idea that it is only for tablets is from a very unclear line in a video that was made to emphasize the benefits of android 3 for tablets (vs anything else that anybody is running on tablets).
I.e., it means that they have added special provisions to make it good on tablets. NOT that they have taken phones out of the picture.

So this evening I was browsing my Facebook when I noticed a comment made by Samsung Mobile. Here is their post:
"What is 10.1 inches of Android 3.0 Honeycomb delight? Only a few days away from launch! Sign up NOW for the LATEST info - http://pub.vitrue.com/HNs"
Here is a direct link to the page:
https://www.facebook.com/SamsungMobileUSA
Hopefully we will get some more information about price, etc. Would also like to know if Best Buy will be selling tablet on launch. (Sure they will, but would like confirmation)
I didn't see this posted anywhere on the forums including AndroidCentral.... hope this helps!
Well, nevermind I guess. When I read that post, I interpreted "few days" as just three or four days. I understand the launch date was supposedly confirmed for June 8th, but that's a little more then a "few days" .... would have been better worded as a couple of weeks.
Was hoping this was referencing to an early launch date.

Well this might effect the official launch of the 10.1 and 8.9 and other samsung galaxy items
Read here --- http://crave.cnet.co.uk/mobiles/apple-forces-samsung-to-hand-over-galaxy-prototypes-in-legal-spat-50003870/?tag=mncol;txt
I think there is a zero chance of Apple being able to postpone Samsung's product launch.
Though Samsung could delay their own launch if they don't have 3.1 quite ready or are trying to get TouchWiz on at the last minute or something or some other last minute tweak. Kinda worried they canceled the May 24th event.

Oh my god, its BEAUTIFUL! Just look at that design .. ! Imagine that beauty with the next exynos processor, a HD resolution, 1.5 Gig of ram and who know what else..
What do you think?
Sammobile's thread says this:
"The picture above could be true for several reasons: Weber Shandwick is one (or even the) largest PR agency in the world, including here in Germany, Weber Shandwick operates in several sectors, along with Samsung. (This is also very good, I made ββthe best possible experience with those so far). The picture could also originate from an internal document at Weber Shandwick, which to hold a Unpacked event on intended to holdon May 22nd!
So what can we see if we take a clo.es look at this picture. To start with the bezel it is really really small!
We see a shutter-button for the camera FINALLY.
Besides, the design fits the Galaxy S3. Loudspeaker front, above and below the display- a perfect match to the current design line from Samsung. Look at the Galaxy S WiFi4.2 or 1.10 of the Galaxy note, both are the display next to the speakers!
If true, the picture above, it also directly teaser unpacked a Samsung event for 22 May in London - in my opinion, very likely. On 22 May announce where a few weeks later, the Olympic Games will begin to quickly put on the market on time and to have the Olympic Games 2012 Samsung Galaxy S3 in the shops. In my view, could vote at Reddit surfaced image that is so loose - I hope even on it. Then you would have a date and place, I can plunder my account for the plane and the speculation goes in another direction!
May 22nd is the approximate date that the London Olympic Torch Relay starts β of which Samsung are a major sponsor β so this date and event in London make total sense.

Update 11:05
Eldar Murtazin (Russian tech blogger) SGS3 is different but thats one is closest to final design
What do you think of its design leave a comment below.

Awesome LOL
Just because you work at Samsung, doesn't mean you have a Samsung device. So I'm sure it's real.

Hmm, I'm sure it's bad if they are tweeting from a competitor's device for their own media messages?
Please have some sense...
You are right, maybe not all Samsung employee's have a Samsung device, but as a company procedure social media should be done from Samsung devices?
If this is true then what the people at Samsung are telling us is that " hey we are selling you crap we don't consider is better than an Iphone ".
The S3 wasn't released on May 3rd right?
The bad thing is I remember looking at this very tweet and didn't even notice

A right **** up there, bit like the footballer Ozil from Real Madrid whom Nike filed a lawsuit against after he was seen play some games wearing Adidas boots, this may not be quite as serious but given that this the official Samsung twitter (shi*ter more like)
and whoever posted this done so from an iPod or iPhone (it says both) it doesn't look very good at all.
I bet whoever did that either:
a) was not from Samsung, but from a PR firm hired by Samsung to handle social medias, such as Twitter, FB, G+, etc
b) does not work for Samsung ANYMORE!
I bet my coins on option (a) above since it has been very common for large corporations to hire firms specialized in digital medias to handle their PR. Such firms not only have control of the social media profiles, but they also create a lot of hype and buzz using fake or unsuspicious profiles and blogs.
I have dated a girl that worked in a firm like that... once I completely understood what she does I couldn't respect her anymore, so I ditched in 3.2 seconds.
It's funny! Apple puncture.
maybe dirty marketing strategies
LOL hahaha
Hello and thanks for developing such a good ROM for Android!
I'm looking for info specific for Note 4 910C, Exynos. There's any prediction of when it would be available?

Exynos devices? Unlikely. Developers hate them.
That's really bad news... So good results with a Galaxy Note 2 N7100.
Not a bad hardware, but without the great work from OmniROM team I'm feeling abandoned.
I'll never lose my hope that one day it will be supported, among others. In the meantime, would you guys, a lot more experienced than me, recommend me another ROM for this specific model?

I don't think anyone has supported any of the Exynos5 variants well. Yeah, sort-of "supported", but not WELL.
The hatred opensource developers have had towards Samsung has been no secret since late 2012, Samsung devices, especially Exynos 4 and later (Exynos3 was great due to being used in a Nexus. The Exynos 5250 in the Nexus 10 was vastly different from all of the other 5 variants), are the last ones you want to buy if you want consistent and reliable community support.
Samsung has made a point for years of NEVER using the same SoC in their flagships as they do in Nexus devices. (Nexus S was the only exception to this, and that was their first Nexus.)
