Yes, definitely. All the firmwares on sammobile have stock recovery so, twrp will be replaced by stock recovery.

Everything is factory reseted. GApps are included in stock rom, so you are back on square one, fresh phone without pictures, music etc. Btw, memory card is intact if you have one.

I just try using Odin 3.07 to flash a original stock rom. However, during the start of flashing, Odin display a 'No Pit File' and stopped.
Moreover, flashing Chainfire or PhilipZ rom just failed.
What's wrong?
I've no problem using Odin before.

The stock rom is from my local Telco. Even when trying to flash a custom rom, the same thing happens.

The firmware listed is the same as what my Telco provides. Still cannot flash with Odin with the same error message.
Do you think is my phone is locked? If so, how to check its status?

Anyway to revert back to 100% Stock?

So I need to revert my OP2 back to 100% stock. I found my self some flashable stock firmwares but I'm not certain if using odin would work. Im noob at this lol. I currently have installed TWRP and root on my OP2. Can anyone tell me the process to undergo in order to go back to 100% stock
Yeah flash the 2.0 image and then apply the ota update. This will give you stock firmware and recovery.

Do not use Odin for anything related to OnePlus devices. Odin is used to flash firmware on Samsung phones.
Just flash the stock recovery image through TWRP. Wipe cahce & dalvik. Let the phone boot into Oxygen OS 2.0. It will then prompt you to update the firmware to 2.1.1. Apply that update and it will get you back to stock on the latest firmware.

I did what you say, and I'm back to stock! THank you! Also after doing full reset, TWRP prompted me if it were to overwrite the stock recovery, i said no, and then the device is 100% stock again!

Need rooted stock TW ROM that won't re-lock bootloader or touch recovery partition

Short story: I need a TouchWiz ROM that I can flash from TWRP that won't re-lock my bootloader or touch the TWRP partition. What's the best one to use?
Longer story: I have SM-G900V running CM 13 that is currently unable to get a GPS lock unless airplane mode is enabled. So far I've been told the only fix for this is (high level instructions):
Nandroid backup of CM 13
Flash TouchWiz ROM
Get GPS lock in TouchWiz ROM
Restore CM 13 nandroid backup
Some of the troubleshooting steps involve root, hence the need for a rooted ROM. Can anyone help?
Download a full stock tar for your device and open it with winrar. Give me a screenshot of all the files inside (aboot, system, etc...)

Extract system.img.ext4, boot.img, modem.bin, NON-HLOS.bin, into a new folder on your desktop. Then use 7-Zip to make it all into a tar archive. Then flash that using Odin.
This is the PB1 firmware - so you will be on TW 5.0 after flashing it. If you want to be on TW MM, I can help with that too if you like
Thanks so much. And yes, how do I go about doing that for TW MM?
I've since realized that that .tar isn't rooted. Can anyone point me to a rooted TW ROM I could do this with?

Actually I used the Lollipop build as the instructions were much simpler. But I'll try to wipe from recovery and reflashing TW again and see if that works. Failing that, probably going to have to clean install CM and then restore apps using TB update.zip in recovery. Why is everything in mobile so godd*mn hard ...
Got everything working again! Thanks so much for your help!!!

SM-G900F STOCK ROM, please help

Hi,
I have been using RR for quite a while now, but lately I am having several troubles and I'd like to go back to the stock version, now that MM is available on S5 officially.
Is it possible? What is the best way to do so? Can I use TWRP to update the rom instead of odin?

Yes it's possible, just download your official stock rom from sammobile, then extract the tar.md5 file from the zip and flash via odin. 1 point I will say is do a factory reset via twrp first as it's a clean fresh start. Once phone is done reboot to recovery and do another factory reset vis stock recovery. Then reboot and enjoy. I personally went backwards and went back to kk

Also, I need to register to sammobile, I guess there is not alternative, right?

Because it's the official software and unmodified Samsung firmwares must be flash via odin. Plus it's the safest way to get stock back. If u can find a stock MM rom that's already been tweaked and made into a zip u can but modems and bootloader's (which come in official firmwares) can only be flashed via odin. It'll take around 30-50 mind to download on pc, are you wanting unbranded UK firmware? If so give me 20 mind to upload it

Thanks, I don't remember much since the last time I used odin. I will look up for the instruction. I have just another question, I guess in doing so I will loose the TWRP boot. Is that right? If so, how am I supposed to backup and restore the data?

Do a backup first and store on ext sd card, no if card do backup and move to pc, then once flashed stock just re-root and flash twrp again and then u can restore your backup.

Custom roms not working on my device! (J500FN)

I've been trying to install custom roms for my device, but none works for my, i've been trying on stock 5.1.1 but the rooms get stuck on boot loop and on stock 6.0.1 i get a green yellow faiding screen. I don't know why it happens, the device is rooted with supersu.
Do you wipe system, data, cache, dalvik cache before installing the rom?
